Friends of Civic Arts Education Foundation
Adopt a Student this Holiday Season! Have someone on your holiday list that is hard to buy for? Know someone who is a patron of the Arts? This holiday season honor them by giving the gift of a Civic Arts Education scholarship. A deserving student will be able to participate in a class through your donation!
The Friends of Civic Arts Education Foundation believes success in the arts is dependent on many things including talent, education and opportunity. With the economic downturn, not all families can afford to offer their children after school participation in arts programs. For example, recently a 13-year-old performer found her passion in CAE’s Junior Theatre program. Even though her talent is evident in her impressive performances, her single mom was economically restricted and worried about being able to fund her daughter’s participation. Without the Friend’s scholarship program, she would not have had the opportunity to be the talented performer she is becoming. Donate $50 / $100 / $250 today in support of the scholarship program
You choose the amount. A letter and certificate acknowledging your gift will be mailed to you. Please visit www.friendsartsed.org and donate today -- for the arts, for the kids, and for continued programs at Walnut Creek ’s Civic Arts Education. *student’s identity receiving the scholarship is kept strictly confidential
