Clay Works One A great opportunity for older children who haven’t had a lot or any experience working with clay to explore this versatile medium. Focus on learning basic hand-building skills such as scoring, using slip, coil building, using molds and glazing. We’ll make functional bowls, plates and mugs, animals and birdhouses. Clay: Handbuilding with Wheelthrowing Great class for students with clay experience. Work on your handbuilding skills using soft slabs, coils and pinch pots. Students will learn the basics of throwing on the electric pottery wheel from centering to making simple pots.
