PROJECT N.O.A.H. NUCLEAR OPERATED ASTRONOMICAL HABITAT GRADUATION PROJECT - 2018
In probing the galaxy for knowledge about our universe and its origins, humanity has investigated various possibilities for enabling human habitation beyond Earth. This project aims to use architecture to find innovative ways to build a permanent habitat on Mars.
Site Selection There are important factors that need to be achieved in order for the habitat to function:
Water
Temprature
Magnetism
Solar access
After studying the possible building techniques from multiple sources and architecture offices, I came to a conclusion for what type of aspects will be applied to my project, like the structure type, the materials, the site, form and area.
Structure A mix of inflating and 3d printing could be used as the main of structure of the habitat, excavation on the other hand needs a lot of power and resources to be possible.
