Save the documents listed below and upload them to your online application:
A
PASSPORT DOCUMENTS A copy of your passport photo page showing your passport expiration date, to make sure your name — and the names of your dependents, if you have them — are correct on the I-20 form. If you do not have a passport, submit a copy of your birth certificate with a certified translation.

IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS If you are requesting a change of status: A copy of your entry visa, entry stamp in your passport, I-94, and I-797 Approval Notice, if you have one. If you are requesting a transfer to Wake Tech: A copy of your previous I-20s, I-94, F-1 entry stamp in your passport, F-1 visa, Employment Authorization Card, if you have one, and I-797 F-1 Approval Notice, if you have one.

FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS An Affidavit of Support Form and a letter from your sponsor’s bank showing your current bank account balance, or a letter from your bank (in English or with a certified translation). Your account balance must be $29,350 or higher. For more information, go to Financial Documents on this web page international.waketech.edu.

EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTATION Documentation of secondary education (equivalent to high school education in the U.S.) or a degree received: Official, complete academic records from secondary and post-secondary schools with certified translations, including your transcripts with courses taken, grades received, grading scales, and completion certificates, examination results from the Examination Council, and degrees awarded.

MEDICAL DOCUMENTS International (F-1) Student Medical Form, signed by a practicing physician, with results of a TB test dated within the last 12 months. If TB test was positive, a chest x-ray result dated within the last 12 months is required.

Complete the I-20 Delivery Options Form to indicate how you want to receive your I-20 in the mail. You will receive a link to this form when you submit your application.
Complete the Status Clearance Form if you are requesting to transfer your active I-20 to Wake Tech.

Pay the $40.00 non-refundable application fee by mail OR by wire transfer (for non-U.S. currency): TO PAY BY MAIL: Mail a U.S. money order, cashier’s check drawn on a U.S. bank, or personal check associated with a U.S. bank for $40.00, payable to Wake Technical Community College. Enclose your full name and date of birth or student ID number with the check and address it to: Wake Technical Community College, International Student Office 9101 Fayetteville Road Raleigh, NC 27603 United States TO PAY BY WIRE TRANSFER: Use Flywire at waketech.flywire.com. Your will receive an email with your student ID number, instructions on how to check the status of your application, and how to submit additional documentation if needed.
