COUNTRY ROADS
TAKE ME BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE I BELONG
We all know the song. And, even though you are not in West Virginia we’ve got miles and miles of country roads. The corduroy roads that once led prospectors, settlers and loggers to a hub of mills and mines in the 1900s now lead city breakers, day trippers and adventure seekers to camps, lodges and lakefront cottages. Tucked away and yours to discover, the country roads will lead you through enchanted old-growth forests and along, untouched – still raw and rustic outposts.

Believe the hype. The journey will be epic. The roads are narrow and the hills are steep. The north/ south corridor is a roller coaster ride – best enjoyed with family and friends. And, the scenic drive down highway 71 takes you to wild, winding backways. Sparkling waters are never far away. Here legends and legacies are just around the corner. And, it is in our nature to preserve and protect both.
Canada has a varied landscape, with coastal fjords, majestic mountains, rolling plains, forested valleys, and crystal clear blue lakes. Here the country roads are built on top of, carved in and around the Canadian Shield: a hilly region of lakes and swamps, stretching across northern Canada with some of the oldest rocks on planet Earth. Come and see what the buzz is all about! We promise you will not be disappointed.
