Meet the women of Jennian Homes Suzanne Armour
Rose Plowman
Suzanne was a Jennian Homes client before she joined the business two years ago.
Rose’s background is in interior design including major projects in Wellington (the initial refurbishment of the Museum Hotel) and Sydney (a full office fitout for Yves Saint Laurent).

“When my husband Dean and I moved down to Wairarapa from Auckland we did our homework and picked Jennian as our builder of choice. “We had a fabulous experience with our build and the team we worked with, and I am very proud to now be working alongside them. A member of the Jennian team for the past three years, Rose is responsible for the initial plans, schedule of works and helps with soil testing on the clients site. Once that is done, she gets the project priced and organises the contracts. “I love the diversity of my clients. I could have a million-dollar project alongside a new home buyer with a minimum budget. I feel the team within Jennian Homes is what sets them aside from other building companies.”

Diane Norris
Rosalie has been working for interior design company iDesign Interiors for three years as a creative spacial designer, applying her talents to Jennian Homes for the past two months.
“It is very rewarding. It is such an exciting time for clients, and being able to share in that and do the best we can for our clients is pretty cool.”
Diane has been with Jennian Homes for 14 years.
During the process she helps her clients pick all their colours, from the exterior colours to the style and colour of the bathroom products.
“I started as an architectural technician - an old school draughtsman - and grew my career into being an architectural designer.

Kate has been a part of Jennian Homes for 15 years, recently taking on The Client Liaison role. “We are a family business, second generation, and possibly third generation in the future. Family is important to our team’s culture and we enjoy creating family homes throughout Wairarapa.” Kate accompanies the client from signing the contract to the completed home, focusing on the building experience being an enjoyable one. “It’s amazing to share in someone’s journey throughout the design phase, followed by construction preparation, to boots on the ground in construction, to the completion of their new home - to see their dream come to reality, for their family to enjoy.”
