boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark, bgcnj.org The 14th annual concert and reception at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center honored Jonathan Sobel and Elizabeth Sudler Sobel for their support of BGCNJ members. The event also featured master of ceremonies and comedian Joe Piscopo and entertainment by Emmy and Grammy-nominated singer Michael Feinstein.

Livingston, fcnj.org More than 2,000 people attended the annual Friendship Circle Walk, showing their support for children and teens with special needs. The family event, which raised more than $175,000 for the organization’s programs, also included rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo and other activities.

50 years of kwanzaa New jersey performing arts center Newark, njpac.org NJPAC’s lobby was transformed into a Kwanzaa Artisan Marketplace in December to commemorate the holiday’s 50th anniversary. Teddy Bear tea Morris Museum Bickford Theatre, Morristown, morrismuseum.org Children of all ages and their parents (and teddy bears) visited the museum for its annual event. Attendees were treated to food, a festive performance at the theater and other activities.
