PLASTIC SURGERY

What surgical advances are you excited about? Procedures are becoming less invasive. We are performing a great deal of fat grafting for both reconstruction and aesthetics. We can harvest the fat from undesirable locations and place it into desirable locations.

How do you define a successful procedure? Where everyone is happy! If my patient feels that their body has improved and they have a greater sense of wellbeing, we have had a success.

What is your main goal when treating patients and how do you achieve it? It all starts with patient education. When a patient is properly informed and has realistic expectations, they will leave satisfied.

How do you ensure the comfort and safety of your patients? I use the least invasive and safest surgical techniques in a state-of-the-art surgical center in order to achieve the best possible results. I offer nipple sparing and oncoplastic techniques to all my breast cancer patients and I am one of only a few reconstructive surgeons in the United States to offer patients muscle-sparing breast reconstructions (DIEP Flaps). This procedure causes less damage to the abdominal wall and enables women who undergo breast reconstruction using their abdominal tissue to recover more quickly.
