Just a thought... Have you ever felt things seem to be going too fast and are threatening to crash? Or feel like a person who is juggling so many things that you are scared that something is going to fall and break? If we are honest I think we can all answer yes at different times of our life. Sometimes it is because of our own choices, we have taken on too much, while at other times it is because of circumstances beyond our control. Such times can lead to us feeling powerless and fearful. Fear is something everyone struggles with at different times. We like to portray that we have it all together but as real human beings we do struggle at times. Nelson Mandela when talking about fear suggests we all need at these times to find courage saying; “courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Occasionally we find ourselves in physical danger. But more often our fears are less tangible things like the possibility of worst case scenarios that
