lover 19:00 @ Five Bar 560 Beaufort St, Mt Lawley ‘Brew Through the Ages’ will be a collaborative event between three breweries. Mash Brewing Co, The Monk Brewery and Kitchen and Colonial Brewing. Each brewery will be collaborating with an age demographic from the Western Australian brewing community. The event will be blind tasting, with the general public as the judge’s. On the night each beer will be put on tap one by one throughout the evening, with each person voting out of 1-5 points for each beer. Once all the beers have been tapped and judged, a representative from each group will give a small talk on what the group was trying to achieve, along with some banter. The brewing teams are as follows; The Monk Brewery and Kitchen - Young brewers Mash brewing Co - over 30’s Colonial brewing “Legends” (Roger Bussel, Hugh Dunn and Barry Sextone) After each group has had their say, the results will be read.

We Want Sour! geek 18:30 @ Baby Mammoth 2/305 William Street, Northbridge Pucker up as Mane Liquor and Baby Mammoth are in collaborative mode to bring you - We Want Sour! as part of WA Beer week. Mane Liquor will be presenting six varying Lambic sour beers matched with food meticulously prepared by Baby Mammoth’s culinary team. The Monk Brewery and Kitchen in Fremantle has teamed up with Craft Beer pioneers Mountain Goat Brewery! Both Craig Eulenstein from The Monk and Dave Bonighton, founder and chief brewer of Mountain Goat, will be talking shop with fans, and releasing their collaboration brew on the famous terrace fronted beer garden at The Monk Brewery. Come along and enjoy this one off creation alongside an all you can eat BBQ, matched to the collaboration brew, by Mitch from Beersine.

Our annual barrel aged beer tasting event goes all Aussie for Beer Week. We tap a series of rare and single batch barrel aged beers from 7pm. Cocktail food provided.
