Water Purifier Essential for Healthy Living As we know that nowadays, the quality of drinking water is getting poorer. As Health is Wealth, we need to take steps to secure ourselves from the deadly diseases caused by consumption of its polluted form. Endemic diarrheal disease caused by waterborne bacteria, virus and protozoan’s parasites, is a leading cause of mortality in developing world. According to WHO report approximately 1.8 million Lives are lost due to waterborne disease. Purifiers are most appropriately used for the removal of substances that affect its physical or aesthetic quality. So, these purifiers should be used to save OURSELVES from deadly disease. Type of Water Purifier Filter Technology Reverse osmosis Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier System uses a membrane with pores tiny enough to screen out inorganic chemicals such as chloride and sulphate. They can be expensive to purchase and may be difficult to install. In addition they even waste much more liquid. Activated carbon filters Carbon material is used in these devices to reduce organic offensive tastes and odours, they are less expensive to purchase than many other types of treatment units and don’t waste water. Some units can enhance bacterial growth. So, filter cartridge needs to be replaced frequently, which adds to the cost of maintenance is necessary. Filters candle The simplest type of purifier device is filters candle. Filters candle trap particles in a porous material while allowing it to pass through. They can reduce particles like sand, rust etc. but it is unable to remove anything dissolved in it. Filters are inexpensive to purchase but do require maintenance. Zero Discharge Recycling of industrial wastewater is also known as ZERO DISCHARGE. It employs the most advanced wastewater treatment technology to purify and recycle virtually all of the wastewater produces. Zero discharge technology helps industries to meet its reuse requirements. Moving bed bio reactor (MBBR) The moving bed bio reactor process utilise the attached bio-film and utilise smaller footprint solution for carbonaceous, nitrification with lower capital and operating cost. This biomass carrier is designed to create a large surface area for bio film growth. Its benefits include an enhanced biological wastewater treatment process without increasing the plant footprint. The moving bed bio reactor tanks are equipped with diffused aeration system carriers and carriers retaining mesh at the outlet. The MBBR process is ideally suited for upgrading the existing installation with minimum charges in existing setup. Membrane Bio reactor (MBR) It is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultra filtration with a suspended growth bioreactor and is now widely used for municipal and industrial waste water treatment. When membrane bio reactor is used with domestic wastewater it can produce effluent of high quality to be discharged to coastal surface or brackish waterways or can also be used for urban irrigation. Recent technical innovation and significant membrane cost reduction have enabled MBR to become an established process option to treat waste water, and so MBR process has now become an attractive option for the treatment and reuse of industrial and municipal wastewater. MBR can be used to reduce the footprint of an activated sludge sewage treatment system by removing some mixed liquor. So, if you don’t want your family to get affected by the threat caused by consumption of polluted drinking water, you should use its purifier which will remove all the harmful components from it and safeguard your family.
