"Although I have transitioned to another role, Ryan has continued to make me feel like I am part of her team. She celebrates my successes (professional & personal), listens and asks the right questions to guide me when I come to her for career advice and genuinely cares about my professional development. One thing I admire about Ryan is that she is always seeking how to improve, both in terms of processes and professional growth. For instance, she intentionally seeks out feedback from those she works with to identify areas of opportunities, which is an indication of a growth mindset and flexible thinking which are wonderful leadership traits that those around her benefit from Additionally, Ryan has taught me to be intentional with my career development and create an annual development plan so that I can focus on the areas that I want to grow in. I continue to use this tool as it helps me set goals and holds me accountable for my own growth.
