Like for many companies, 2020 was marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, which had a strong impact on our organisation and our activity. Yet, we managed to rise to the challenge, adapt, and maintain customer confidence. As a result of our combined efforts, business operations continued and we were able to deliver our products thus helping to save lives.
The pandemic greatly accelerated the use of new information systems and the development of remote working. It gave impetus to the strategic directions taken in recent years at Vygon in relation to digital transformation and changes to our operating and organisational model. Our collaborative project, Echo, allowed us to continue our activity remotely and also facilitated collaboration and information sharing, thus improving our performance.

Many projects are underway to support our transformation, to adapt our business to market developments and regulatory requirements, and to help us meet the challenges that lie ahead.
In this uncertain and increasingly competitive international environment, it was imperative for our Group to prepare for the future and redefine our strategy to maintain growth. VYSION is an enterprise-wide business plan in line with our company culture and our values. After an initial diagnostic review, the business plan will continue to mobilise large numbers of employees in implementing our strategic objectives for the next five years, including corporate social responsibility.
It is in this unique context that we are pleased to bring you our 2020 report.
