Wearesogratefulforyourfaith,yourpassiontosharethegospeland yourinterestintheworkofstrategicevangelism.Weliveinan unprecedentedmomentinhistory.Oursisnotsimply an age of change butthevery change of an age asthehorizonattheedgeofmodernity comesintoview.

Stillinthelongshadowcastbythehollowpromiseof“goodwithout God,”adisenchantedwesternworldhasgrowncoldandanxious. Lamentingthischange,columnistDavidBrooksrecentlyreferredtoour momentaspartofa“darkcentury.”Rightly“understandingthetimes” allowsustofacethismomenthonestlyandyetwithgreatfaith,strong hopeandthepowerofGod’slove.Lightisappearingattheedgeofthe modernageandwithitafreshopportunitytouncoverthelifeand beautylongedforbyallofcreationandfoundinChristalone.

V3isstrategicallyengagingthisopportunitybysharingthelife& beautyofthegospelwiththeworld.Withimagination,reasonandlove, wearehelpingtouncoverwhathasbeenshadowedinthemodernage; reality,chargedwiththegrandeurseenthroughtheeyesofpoetslike Hopkins.Thetruthofourworld“dancingandtingling,afestival,”in thewordsofC.S.Lewis;enchantedreality.Andeachdayourteamis uncoveringitthroughourcontent,courses,art,immersiveexperiences andembodiedcommunities.

Rooted and Ready

In2016,V3MinistrieswasbirthedwithjoyaroundatableintheredhillsofOregon’swine countrybyasmallgroupoffriendsandpioneerslongingforaday“whenallshallbewell.”With asharedvisionofJesusandcommitmenttosharethelife&beautyofthegospelwiththeworld, webeganwalkinginthedirectionofourhope.

Theearlyimaginationforthisministrybeganover11yearsbeforeV3wasbirthed.While pastoringafreshchurchplant,FounderandExecutiveDirector,ZachElliott,imaginedan enchantedplaceholdingoutagreatlightinadisenchantedworld.Thedreamwasclearand specific,athreestorybuildingtobeexact,filledandspillingoverwiththelifeandbeautyofthe gospel.Thedreamwasinspiredinpartbyrich,embodiedandimpactfulworkslikeL’Abriin Switzerland,foundedbyFrancisSchaefferandcombinedwiththepassionforthegospelfound attheheartoftheBillyGrahamEvangelicalAssociation.Thevisionwasforanembodied ministrydeeplyrootedinanddrawingfromtheconvictionsoftheancientChristianfaithand chargedwiththecreativepotencyofLewis,TolkienandRembrandt.

Expanding Ministry Reach through Media

V3hasalreadyreachedover25,000peoplethroughtheproductionand distributionofLABthePodcast.Withanaudiencecurrentlyspanning12 countries,digitalmediaisthemosteffectiveplatformforustoexpandour reach.Thisyear,withtheadditionoftheWayfarerPodcast,wehopeto growourreachbyadding1000downloadspermonthtoourdigital ministrypresence.

Enhancing Impact through Art

C.S.Lewisfamouslysaid,“Imaginationprecedesreason.”Itdoesn’t supersedeit,butitdoesprecedeitandinaworldsaturatedwithwords, beautifulartcanhelpacontentwearyworldwipethe“filmoffamiliarity” fromitseyes.Thisyear,V3willextendourministryimpactbycreating, acquiringandcommissioninghighqualityartfordistributionandpublic display.Ourfirstcommissionedpiecewillbeawatercolorpaintingbasedon Colossians1:15-23.Thispiece,bySchooloftheArtInstituteofChicago graduate,MaryFrancesFleming,willhanginbusinessesandchurches beginningintheTampaBayArea.

V3’ssecondprojectwillbeapublicationofapoetrycollectionwrittenand curatedbyourConservatoryPoet,WendyKieffer.Thispoetrycollection willdebutfordistributionin2024.

Withyoursupport,athirdprojectwillbethecompositionofasymphonic poembasedonV3FounderZachElliott’sbook,NowISee.Thissymphony piecewillgivemusicallifetothepowerfulandtransformativemessageof thegospelattheheartofNowISee.Withyourpartnership,wewilldebut thispiecewitha live symphonyperformanceby2025.

SuccessfullydebutingtheseartisticpieceswillpositionV3forongoing culturalcontributionsthroughthearts.

Extending Love through Embodied Communities

V3iscommittedtonurturingembodiedfaithbyenhancingourministryto18-30yearoldsin theTampaBayarea,localchurchpastorsandourcommunityofV3Churches.Ourteamis prayingandworkingtofillourweeklyChapelservicetocapacity.Inaddition,underthe DirectionofNickRichardsonandTaylorZeisloft,wehavelaunchedaWayfarerTampa communityprovidingamonthlyopportunityfor18-30yearoldstosharelifetogether walkinginthedirectionofHope.UnderthedirectionofJeromeMilner,weareenhancing ourministrytopastorsparticipatinginourCommunitiesofPracticebyexpandingourweekly pastoralreadinggrouptopastorsacrossthecountry.Finally,wehavetheopportunityto provideongoingmentorship,artisticsupportandfinancialinvestmentinordertoresourcethe ministryofourV3Churches.Providingthisaidandsupportwillcatalyzetheworkbeing donetonurtureembodiedfaithinhundredsofmenandwomenacrossTampaBayand positionustoexpandthisworkbyadoptingorseedingnewV3Churches.

Establishing a Cultural Presence through the V3 Conservatory

Ourdreamistobuildoracquireandrenovateathreestorybuildinginordertocuttheribbon ontheV3Conservatoryby2031.EachfloorofTheConservatorywillcreatespacefora uniqueaspectofV3’sministrytocreatecontent,courses,art,immersiveexperiencesand embodiedcommunities.

Thegroundfloorwillprovideacombinationofevent,gallery,co-workandV3office/studio space.Thegalleryandeventspacewillofferco-workingspaceavailabletothepublic,aswell ascreateopportunitiesforhospitalitycollaborationswithlocalbusinessesalignedwithV3’s visionandmission.ThesecondfloorwillcreatespacefortheInnattheConservatory,a12weekmentorshipprogramfor18-30yearolds.Thisimmersiveexperiencewillbeoffered3 timesayearforupto12participantspergroup,deeplyformingandshapingupto36young menandwomenperyear.ThethirdfloorofV3’sConservatorywillbesetasideforpastors andartistsdesiringtorest,healandgrowbyenjoyinganimmersivestayandparticipatingin thelifeoftheConservatory.Wehopetoofferuptofourguestsuitesandoneartistin residencesuiteonthe3rdfloor.

WeanticipatethecostofconstructionorrenovationtoestablishtheV3Conservatoryin Tampa,rangingfromfivetosevenmilliondollars.Godwilling,wearepraying,preparing ministryandplanningstrategicallytoreachthisgoalby2031.

Move key part time staff members to full time roles

Add key Conservatory Artists and staff members to our team to enhance our ministry and expand our partner base

Open a proof of concept “Conservatory” with space for V3 Offices and Podcast studio, while beginning our capital campaign aimed at our 2031 Conservatory ribbon cutting goal.

Make key investments to expand our ministry impact through media reach, artistic contributions and embodied communities

Lookingoutattheopportunityandneedbeforeus,IamremindedofthewayGodhasprovidedat eachstepofthejourneybehindus;withasmallgroupoffaithfulpeoplesimplybringingwhatwe have,believingGodwouldmultiplythoseresourcesandmeeteveryneed.
