CHANGING LIVES CAMPAIGN UPDATE

We were delighted to officially break ground on our new mental wellbeing build in November 2019. Construction has been slightly delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions, however, we aim to open this much-needed facility in the spring of 2021.

There is a growing demand for mental wellbeing services — in Aberdeen alone, 1 in 3 adults every year are diagnosed with a mental health condition.

As Aberdeen’s largest and trusted provider of mental health services, we are more than aware of the pressures this brings. As a result, we were delighted to publicly announce our exciting ‘Changing Lives’ campaign which aims to raise £3.2 million to build an ambitious purpose-built mental wellbeing facility in the heart of Aberdeen to support adults on their journey to recovery.

This new 20-bedroom facility, with an associated communitybased outreach service, will provide vital support to people living with a range of mental health conditions, empowering them to take control of their lives through our highlyregarded recovery model and specialised mental wellbeing support staff.
