Our Queenstown Golf Week 2024 was our 3rd trip with Voyages and we have at least two more booked. From the first email to the final goodbye Voyages are exemplary in every aspect. No detail was overlooked and they make you feel so very welcome. The accomodation at the Crowne Plaza was great - perfect central location... the golf courses at Jack’s Point and Millbrook were outstanding and our day trip to Walter’s Peak was amazing...superb BBQ buffet. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Voyages if you want to experience a great golf trip.

Foreword

Voyages.golf invites you to our inaugural 2025 Mornington Peninsula Golf Week.

Our Golf Week series is all about taking things slowly, unpacking for a week and enjoying a destination properly, without too much moving around. The series also showcases some of the best destinations in the Asia Pacific region, including Fiji, Hobart, Queenstown and the Mornington Peninsula.

Perfect for golfer & non-golfing partners & friends, the main attraction of our Golf Week series is the enjoyment of a destination in-depth. You can save on time and money by enjoying an area like the locals do. Too often we are travelling through places, not to them. Our Golf Week series delivers this ‘slow travel’ concept through a fun golf event with novel prizes & an individual Stableford golf format designed to get the most out of every course on our itinerary, with non-golfers having just as much fun as the golfers (potentially more!).

Voyages.golf is a family run company based on the Mornington Peninsula. Our selection of golf holidays varies around the world and includes, but is not limited to:

• Escorted Golf Tours

• Golf Week Series

• Major Golf Events

• Golf Cruises (Escorted & Unescorted)

• Custom Golf Trips

Our Touring Destinations • United States • Canada • Spain & Portugal • Argentina • Caribbean • Ireland • United Kingdom • Europe • South Africa • Vietnam • Australia • New Zealand • Fiji • Japan
South Korea

Pairings, Format & Scoring

Mornington Peninsula Golf Week will be played over four rounds in an individual Stableford format. Scoring will be based on your best three rounds out of four (automatically drop your worst-scored round in case you miss one or bad weather affects your score).

Round 1 will be paired as friends & travelling partners. The rest of your rounds will be mixed based on your handicap index (higher handicaps are paired with higher handicaps, same for lower handicaps).

The competition is Individual Stableford across all days. Prizes will be awarded to daily winners (mixed) and overall winners & runners up (ladies & gentlemen). This is a private competion & scores will not count towards Golf Australia’s handicapping system. Our local rules are not necessarily the club’s rules & therefore all cards cannot be submitted to Golf Australia for handicapping updates.

This event is not focussed on prize funds or serious awards, but we do have some fun prizes & awards of note:

• Daily winners (mixed) - Daily winners can’t win twice

• Overall winners (ladies & gentlemen) - Based on handicapped flights

• Hole in One Prize (winner gets a trip to The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush 2025) - applies to a certain hole. There can only be one winner.

• Longest Drives (Daily)

• Nearest the Pins (Daily)

Itinerary

Dates: Wednesday 08 - Wednesday 15 January 2025

Day 1 - Arrivals

• Arrive & transfer to Moonah Links Resort for check-in. On arrival, see our tour desk to pick up your welcome pack & greet our expert tour leaders. Now is the time to ask any questions about the week to come before you get settled in.

Day 2: Relaxation

• If you have travelled from afar, enjoy this day as the first day of your holiday. This is about you and you deserve to relax.

• For those who want to warm up, join our Add-on round at Flinders Golf Club with transfers, carts and a drink included on the 19th hole.

• This evening is our official welcome function with plenty of food & drinks included. There will be live entertainment, a few short speeches and plenty of time to dust off the dancing shoes.

Day 3: Golf - Legends Course

• Round 1 is officially here. To make life easy, we stay onsite & play the Legends Course at Moonah Links. Designed by Ross Perett, this course is generally considered more forgiving than its sibling with wide fairways, generous greens and stunning views. This is no pushover, so don’t expect a walk in the park!

• After golf, enjoy a post-round BBQ as we celebrate a great day and even better company.

Day 4: Golf - The Dunes

• This morning is free to enjoy at your leisure. We have an afternoon round at The Dunes Golf Links.

• Designed by Tony Cashmore, The Dunes has long been regarded as one of Australia’s finest public-access golf courses and helped define the Mornington Peninsula as one of Australia’s premier golfing destinations. The course conditioning is pristine, and we wouldn’t expect anything less from this Mornington Peninsula heavyweight.

10

Day 5 - Rest Day

• After two rounds of golf it’s time to leave the clubs in your bag. We’ve got a very special experience in store. The Peninsula has long been renowned for producing some of Australia’s best wines & we have a private tasting followed by lunch at one of the region’s top wineries. We’ll take care of everything so enjoy this classy lunch as the perfect way to break up a perfect week.

Day 6: Golf - St Andrews Beach

• For our 3rd round of golf, we head to the nearby St Andrews Beach Golf Course

• Designed by Tom Doak, this 18-hole course is characterised by rolling sand dunes, native vegetation, and strategically placed bunkers on an open-format dune-scape. The course layout provides a balance of difficulty and playability, making it suitable for golfers of varying skill levels.

Day 7: Golf - Open Course

• Our final round of golf has arrived and we’re staying onsite for this one. Enjoy a round on the Moonah Links’ famous Open Course, designed by the late Peter Thomson (5time Open winner). This golf course was specifically designed to host the Australian Open in the early 2000’s and it has since been highly regarded as one of Victoria’s most challenging layouts. This is a fun track that rewards the bold so why not pull all the stoppers and go for it!

• After golf, enjoy our post-round BBQ at the Resort to celebrate a stunning week of golf.

• Don’t fill up too much on lunch - this evening is our official farewell gala dinner with live entertainment and prize giving. This is held at the Resort so you can head to bed or dance the night away with your tour hosts.

Day 8: Departures

• After breakfast at your leisure, it’s time to pack up and transfer back to the airport for onward departures.

-- End of Services --

• If you have booked the Australian Open, you’ll be transferred to the city for that experience

• Our services don’t stop today. Book extra nights, custom experiences and more on the Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula, Melbourne’s Sandbelt and more. Contact us to make your trip truly yours.
