OUR HISTORY

By. Thais Lopez Vogel

From an early age, I instinctively understood the importance of taking action. A pivotal childhood experience in Venezuela solidified this understanding and shaped my future.

During my youth, a popular telethon called "Teleradio Pabellón" aired annually, featuring celebrities raising funds for Hogar Clínica San Rafael, a children's orthopedic clinic. The event captivated the nation with its slogan: "The smile of a healthy child will be your reward."

Watching the show, I was inspired by the unity and energy of the celebrities working toward a common goal. I realized that even I, as a child, could contribute to helping other children in need.

Without hesitation, I emptied my piggy bank and called to donate. My parents' pride in my actions reinforced the importance of this simple yet meaningful gesture.

Although I didn't get to speak with a celebrity, I felt part of something greater—an action that was changing the world for the better. This experience opened a door in my life that has never closed, instilling in me a lifelong commitment to taking action and making a positive impact.

Today, I continue to be guided by that same spirit, channeling the powerful energy that comes from moving in the right direction.
