Welcome We are honoured to welcome you to the Daisy Communications Golf Day 2019 at the Belfry in Sutton Coldfield. We can promise that your day will be one to remember, with a whole day’s worth of entertainment laid out ahead of you, and all in aid of an incredible cause. Registry for the day’s events will begin at 10:45 AM on Friday the 20th of September, so please ensure you arrive early to avoid delays to the day’s events. Within this digital magazine you can find everything you need to know about the day. From the reason we’re all here to the raffle prizes for the evening’s prize giving.

Parking on the Day Parking for the day’s events will be in the Bel Air car park. This will be signposted on the day, however as you drive into the resort, it will the first cark park on the left hand side as you enter.
Caddy Packs On the day, we will be raising money with Caddy Packs, sold to the day’s players. Included will be: - Three Raffle Tickets for the evening’s prize giving - Five Mr Mulligans for the day’s games - An Entry to the Longest Drive Competition - An Entry to Nearest the Pin Competition

Why we’re all here Today isn’t just about golf and networking, although a chance to enjoy both is always something to enjoy. Rather we are all here for something incredibly important, Libby Mae’s Little Angels. Charlotte and Richard have always been close to our heart at Voice Mobile, and we have brought this support through into our transition into Daisy Communications. We take every opportunity we can to support this incredible cause. And that’s why we’re so happy to welcome every single one of you, supporting this event and their incredible cause.
What They Do Libby Mae’s Little Angels are a small, family run, registered charity formed in 2013. Working tirelessly to help save the lives of vulnerable babies across the Midlands, they raise funds for all 18 neonatal units in the region. From helping to purchase essential medical equipment like ventilators and incubators, to helping provide support for the parents through their trauma, Libby Mae’s support every step of the journey.
Their Successes - A significant donation towards the purchase of a transport incubator, which currently transports more than 1000 babies in the West Midlands annually. - The purchase of several iPads for neonatal units that help to keep babies and their families connected, even when they cannot be together in person. - A sponsorship of one of the intensive care rooms in Birmingham Women’s Hospital where Libby received her care.
Today’s Challenge Today, the money we’ll be raising will be going towards raising money for Libby Mae’s Memory Boxes. An incredible scheme that aims to help grieving parents adjust and recover from the traumatic experience of suffering a loss neonatally. Included in the box are teddy bears, a hand and footprint kit, a clay impression kit, sunflower seeds, a plaque and much more. The Brabazon Course The Belfry has a storied history with the game, hosting more Ryder Cup tournaments than any other venue in the world. With three stunning courses, sculpted from acres of lush North Warwickshire countryside, it has hosted some of the most dramatic moments in the history of the sport. The world famous Brabazon Course has been the stage for some of the game’s most exhilarating dramas. Walk in the footsteps of golfing legends – Seve’s historic drive onto the 10th green, Sam Torrance’s famous putt that won the 1985 Ryder Cup match for the European Team or Christie O’Connor Jr’s belligerent 2 iron across the lake at the 18th. More recent changes have seen the 6th hole become one of the most demanding, rated highly by modern-day great Lee Westwood. As you’d expect, it’s a challenging golf course, but a must-play for anyone who’s serious about the sport. The majestic fairways and carpet-smooth greens of The Brabazon form a meticulous design involving tight fairways, perilous bunkers, lakes and fast undulating greens that have challenged some of golf’s greatest players.
