St werburghs community centre / Police update
Over 50 window makers took part, with so much creativity and positivity you could really feel spring in the air! Bristol Refugee Festival were delighted to partner this event with Imayla, and with the support from, Learning Centre Docklands, St Pauls Adventure Playground and Malcolm X. We felt that this was an important opportunity for the community to come together in celebration of the arrival of spring at the end of a difficult winter. We were particularly keen to ensure that some of the most vulnerable and isolated members of our community could be involved and we thank Lucille Smith project leader and Laura from colourful minds and IMPACT for facilitating workshops. One participant said: 'I really enjoyed it, I can have a good link with our neighbours through windows'
