Dallas Artist Art is a wide array of human actions in producing visual, auditory or acting artifacts (artworks), expressing the writer's technical or creative ability, intended to be valued for their beauty or psychological strength. Art may be characterized concerning mimesis (its representation of fact), narrative (storytelling), saying, communication of emotion, or other attributes. During the Romantic period, artwork came to be seen as "a distinctive faculty of the body to be categorized with science and faith". Though the definition of what constitutes art is contested and has shifted over time, overall descriptions cite an concept of imaginative or technical ability stemming from human agency and creation.
