PANCAKE PROPOSAL

Estelle and Mike... it all began in 2005 at a local bar. The evening involved a few drinking games and then a week later they met again during a mating dance they had to perform for a genetically modified animals party. (I really wish I had a photograph of that!)

They spent a few months together before Estelle had to go back to France, but Mike followed twice and then finally, they moved in together in 2008 here in NZ. She even gave up working in Paris to move back to NZ permanently - for 'work,' but we all know better nowreally it was for Mike, who had totally captured her heart. Anyone (in my opinion) who leaves the likes of Paris voluntarily, must be in love!

On Estelle’s birthday this year Mike proposed using hand crafted pancakes, and she said... well, 'YES.' Not that many months later and we're basking in the sun of the beautiful Hawkes Bay waiting for the clock to roll around to the time that Mike and Estelle tie the knot.
