Fall Plaids

& Autumn Fads by Julie Holland I know a lot of people have a hard time saying bye to summer, but I'm not one of them. Byee summer, mmk oh baiiii. The weather can be so amazingly perfect in this area through September and October (you'll get your 70 degree days again in February...totes becoming a trend), and most importantly, the boots, scarves and comfy layers get to come out! "Yes!" to all the above. You really don't have to stress about packing away your summer wardrobe when blazers and booties exist, and isn't it far more comfortable to "glisten" a normal amount in the fall, rather than sweating your face off and watching your hair expand into frizzy new heights in the summer? Pop-in hair extensions and hats are much more doable with a chill to the air, and layers can make an otherwise boring outfit pop.

FANCY PICNIC BASKET. Eeee, what is better than an autumn picnic?! Many varieties of picnic "baskets" exist, from backpacks that unzip to reveal the full spread of wine glasses and cutlery, to this vintage half round wicker design. This vintage style is so romantic and makes a great accessory for photos! Find similar ones on Etsy.
