Boscombe Fringe Festival The Big 2014 Vita Nova Show! Workshops starting from 24th February 2014 In September 2014, Vita Nova will be producing the second Boscombe Fringe Festival, an exciting showcase of workshops, shows, exhibitions and performances by local artists, community groups and invited guests held at Vita Nova and Shelley Theatre. Last year Vita Nova supported the development of two spoken word shows, a spoken word film, photography exhibition and a new theatre show alongside performances from other emerging artists in the area. This year we’re thinking even bigger! With support from the Arts Council we’ll be looking to you to help us create something really special for this year’s festival.
What will it involve? The early stages are all about getting to know you and supporting you to learn new skills. All we ask is that you attend one of our creative writing or/and theatre workshops to start to develop your interests and ideas. As we move through the year our experienced workshop leaders will start to support you in shaping and developing the ideas to lead to a piece ready for performance in September.
