It’sbeen three months since we released our spring issue, and a lot has happened since then. Notably, the pandemic of the p a s t f e w y e a r s h a s h a d m a n y c o n s equences, good and bad On the bad side, thousands of people died and hundreds of thousands were injured by Covid vaccines administered around the world And the fact that these injections were forced on those who wanted to keep their jobs and participate in society was unbelievable. (1)

During the National Citizens Inquir y, a citizen-led inquir y into Canada’s Covid-19 response, many Canadians testif ied over the past few months about their vaccine injuries, loss of livelihoods, family conflicts, depression, suicide and more These were hear tbreaking stories told by those directly affected. (2)

Canadian pilots are members of one g roup that was adversely affected because they were mandated to get the jab or stop f ly i n g . A n a s s o c i a t i o n o f t h e s e p i l o t s , called FreetoFly, has now launched a class action lawsuit against the Canadian gover nment. See the repor t in our Community News section.

On the other hand, a good consequence of the pandemic has been the g radual awakening of the public to the fact that Wester n medicine is entirely capable of putting big phar ma prof its ahead of human health Once people awaken to that reality, they are

empowered to take back responsibility for their own health just as our ancestors did.

A prominent member of our health community, Dr Zoltan Rona, experienced the dark side of Wester n medical tyranny f irsthand during the pandemic when his private practice came under scr utiny by the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO) Much like the harassment that was per petrated against esteemed environmental physician Dr Jozef Krop in 1999 who ultimately lost his medical license, so too was Dr Rona inter rogated, investigated, and hounded by the CPSO. In the end, Dr. Rona gave up his medical license too This month we bring you his stor y

For tunately, both Dr. Krop and Dr. Rona continue to ser ve the public as health cons u l t a n t s , u s i n g n u t r i t i o n a l m e d i c i n e t o restore wellness in their clients So it seems that collectively we must all retur n to the embrace of nature if we are to sur vive, and leave the Wester n medical tyrants to their own devices This month we bring you lots of g reat infor mation on foods, supplem e n t s , a n d eve n f l owe r s f o r b o o s t i n g immunity and overcoming illness In the words of Hippocrates, “If you are not your own doctor you are a fool.”

Ironically, at the same time that people are tur ning to natural healthcare in droves, our gover nment is throwing up more bar riers to the availability of health products which suppor t wellness.

Specif ically, Health Canada is preparing to change natural health product (NHP) regulations It recently proposed new and signif icant fees to impor t, manufacture,

a n d s e l l n a t u r a l h e a l t h products along with new l a b e l l i n g l aw s “ T h i s i s unfair, unrealistic, and so c o s t ly t h a t i t w i l l f o r c e m a ny s m a l l t o m e d i u ms i z e d b u s i n e s s e s t o s h u t d ow n C a n a d i a n o p e r ations,” according to a letter prepared by the Canadian Health Food Association

Nearly 100% of aluminum hydroxide, commonly used as an adjuvant in vaccines, enters the circulation when injected intramuscularly; and the injected adjuvant binds with transferrin, which allows it to cross the blood-brain and cerebrospinal fluid barriers

I n a d d i t i o n , t h e U K r e s e a r c h e r s u s e d f l u o r e scence microscopy to examine brain sections from 10 other donors with ASD. They found more aluminum deposits in males (129 in 7 individuals) than in females (21 in 3 individuals) The deposits were extracellular and intracellular, affecting neurons and non-neuronal cells, including microglia.

Aluminum compounds (aluminium) were also found in mononuclear white blood cells in the meninges, indicating that the metal might be entering the brain via the lymphatic system The authors concluded: “The presence of aluminium in inflammator y cells in the meninges, vasculature, g rey and white matter is a standout obser vation and could implicate aluminium in the aetiology of ASD ” This was the f irst study to measure aluminum content in the brains of people with autism

In a Letter to the Editor regarding this study, Ivan Ivanovski et al stated that consumption is unlikely to be the source of the high aluminum levels, despite its widespread presence in processed foods, cooking utensils, and drinking water They point out that only about 0 25% of ingested aluminum (Al) is absorbed into the circulation, although it may be more if the intestinal mucosa is damaged.

In contrast, nearly 100% of aluminum hydroxide, commonly used as an adjuvant in vaccines, enters circulation when injected intramuscularly Moreover, the injected Al adjuvant binds with transfer rin, which allows it to cross the blood-brain and blood-cerebrospinal fluid bar riers. It is unlikely to be excreted once it enters the brain

The US vaccine schedule delivers about 4,925 µg of aluminum parenterally by the age of 18 months, according to Ivanovski et al. The authors suggest postponing aluminumcontaining vaccines until children lose their last primitive reflex, indicating physiological maturation, which is usually about six to seven months old

They also suggest replacing aluminum adjuvants with compounds that may be less toxic, such as squalene, calcium phosphate, or a zinc compound.

Success Story: Potential Benef its of Nutrition

and Detoxif ication for Autism

As a conventional family doctor, I had many times felt helpless when attempting to assist patients with chronic illness To see the continued suffering of patients and not have enough tools to make a signif icant difference, despite years of medical training, was fr ustrating and in need of cor rection.

Nowhere was this felt as intensely as in management of autism and related conditions Thankfully, after more years of continuing education and application of principles not taught in medical school, I now gain immense satisfaction from offering ser vices to autistic children and their families, given that I have deter mined, as have other CAM (Complementar y and Alter native Medicine) doctors, that a difference can and has been made.

ceptualize autism as a disease template from which to explain many of our moder n illnesses, and applied to it the methods I was using to address other chronic conditions with a toxic-immune component.

Over time, I was exposed to research about glutathione, glutamate levels, and gluten metabolites; about autism case management, casein partial digestion, and cerebral folate

For this autistic boy, the treatment protocol began with a glutenfree, casein-free, sugar-free diet

Key to assisting autistic patients is recognizing the variations in impor tant biochemical pathways that can be suppor ted with targeted nutrient therapy, such as with the proper for ms of both B12 and folate For me, the diagnostic categor y is impor tant, but so is understanding the under pinnings of any condition. With autism and related disorders, the emphasis on mitochondrial function, immune dysregulation (including mast cell activation), the gut-microbiomebrain axis, oxidative stress, and environmental toxicants is where I place my focus in clinical practice. These in tur n affect the brain, with neuroinflammation at the core

No doubt autism is a complex inter play between genetics and environment, with not all children on the spectr um requiring the same level of suppor t As a spectr um condition, there is wide variability in symptom severity and management needs. For cases presenting to me, I came to con-

Ultimately, I came to bear witness to the fact that the ability to dramatically improve the life (and remove the label) of an autistic child in need of more intensive suppor t has a profound impact on not only the patient, but also the patient’s family and community (Continued next page)

After 6 months of treatment, the patient’s IBI (Intensive Behavioural Intervention) therapists

“could not believe the improvement” in speech and general development

Applying principles of integrative medicine, including nutrition-based therapies, in fact extends the positive impact to all levels of society, given that improvements in the condition can relieve many burdens. The approach is integ rative, comprehensive, and can be complicated – any management scheme should never be more burdensome to patient and/or family than the condition itself – but I’ve seen f irsthand that parents can apply these therapies with favourable outcomes. The following case illustrates that point.

Case Study

I f irst met T when he was three years, two months old A diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) had been made eight months prior. His parents – attentive, knowledgeable, supportive, and cooperative – provided a clear history of regression in speech development at age 18 months The boy had gone from speaking an 8 to 10 single word vocabulary – to not speaking at all. Further observations:

He had self-stimulator y behaviour, was striking his father repeatedly, showed hyperactivity, and used g r unting for language at the time of his visit

– He was bor n by C-section, and had a twin sister with nor mal development. He had many ear infections, and had received four courses of antibiotics. Vaccines had been administered as per the standard immunization schedule He also had multiple bouts of bronchitis, cradle cap (scalp fungal infection), and loose stools on a regular basis

T.’s

t i o

d i c i n e approach to their son’s illness, and consented to the use of complementar y therapies administered through my off ice

Nutritional Medicine and Detoxification Therapy:

His infor med parents had already star ted the child on probiotics, essential fatty acids, B vitamins, and other supplements prior to his visit with me At the f irst meeting, we interactively outlined a plan for management, with a focus on biological, nutrition-based medicine. The f irst phase was to assess (by histor y, exam, a urine organic acid prof ile, and blood analysis) and cor rect yeast-related abnormalities A gluten-free, casein-free, sugar-free diet was prescribed

With bowel function improved, we moved to phase two: pro-oxidant (including metal b urden) assessment and treatment Simultaneously, a 2 week prescription of the anti-fungal preparation Fluconazole was recommended, followed by botanicals including g rapefr uit seed extract, garlic, and the homeopathic Fungisode from Genestra. Immune function was also regulated, using Imunovir

After 3 months, T ’s parents consented to the non-standard provocative urine toxic elements test, which showed

It also protects mitochondrial function.)

After 5 months of treatment, language development was prog ressing, with less prompting and more spontaneity Also toilet training was better, with much improved stool consistency. The parents repor ted “dramatic changes,” including increased play interaction

A f t e r 6 m o n t h s , h i s I B I ( I n t e n s ive B e h av i o u r a l Inter vention) therapists “could not believe the improvement” in speech and general development. Transder mal glutathione and car nosine (a nutrient with repor ted benef its for speech development in ASD) were suggested, and checks on fungal activity continued, with inter vention as required.

After 9 months, the parents noted major improvements in language acquisition, and a repeat urine toxic metals test showed almost nor mal levels. He was switched to a solely oral metal excretion prog ram, which included a combination of DMSA with lipoic acid from a compounding pharmacy, used on a 3 day on / 11 days off rotation with close monitoring of lab parameters and mineral status.

By 1 year, a psychological assessment was perfor med by a developmental disabilities specialist, who noted “considerable improvement in his ASD characteristics,” and that “he is much less likely to display hyperactivity ”

Routine follow-up testing for cell counts, heavy metals, mineral levels, and liver and kidney function occur red from the outset, with continued sur veillance through the following year during application of the supplementation prog ram After 23 months, T no longer qualif ied for gover nment funding, since autism was “no longer a diagnosis in writing,” according to his parents. T.’s parents were ecstatic with the overall outcome

By age six, T was fully integ rated in a regular school and not requiring any extra assistance. He communicated normally and easily, with his humorous, interactive personality in full bloom There were no longer any signs of autism, cognitively or socially In fact, the teachers at his new school were not even aware that a diagnosis of autism once applied to him. Medically, the diagnosis has been removed.

Calendula, Nastur tium, and Rosehips

Tastes of Nature

(Editor’s note: This article was adapted by Julia Woodford from a feature originally titled “Flower Cuisine” by Linda Gabris, available online )

Savouring summer blossoms is a practice that goes back centuries. The Greeks and Romans used recipes that called for roses and violets And the Elizabethans loved to consume various flowers as common table fare Beautiful squash blossoms were eaten as far back as 2000 BC. Chr ysanthemums were ser ved on special occasions in China and are praised as holiday fare in Japan

Flowers are also deeply rooted in cooker y of the Middle East, Easter n Europe and Indian cultures. And in more recent times they have spr ung up in Nor th American eateries as the latest in haute cuisine

Even though aboriginal people, early settlers, and old timers like my grandparents used various flowers for table fare and medicine, most home cooks today haven’t yet introduced flowers into their recipes I know some who admit they’ve only sampled such extravagance in f ine restaurants where experienced chefs prepare flower cuisines with the most elegant of all decorations

Before heading outdoors in search of posies for the table there are a few impor tant things to remember. First, bear in mind that not all flowers edible – some are poisonous Star t out with common edible picks that you can positively identify. Never har vest plants near roadsides or other areas where they may be contaminated with road dust, herbicides, or pesticides And if you are g rowing flowers in your yard or garden as table fare, do it organically for safe eating. Store-bought flowers should never be eaten unless you are positive they are organically g rown

Nature’s Beautiful Bounty

Gather your pickings in wicker baskets to keep them in f ine shape until they reach the table, and always wash your gatherings under cold r unning water and pat dr y with paper towels before using. Edible flowers will add exciting visual appeal, a whiff of sweet aroma, and just a hint of romantic flavour to your meals Introduce them into your diet slowly and in small amounts

Here’s a sampling of edible flowers that g row in Canada, along with tidbits of infor mation on their uses and the months they’re in bloom

BORAGE (Borago off icinalis) – blooms in June, July, August: Pretty blue borage flowers emit a cucumber-like aroma making them well-suited for summer drinks. I like to make a tea out of the flowers, then ser ve it chilled over ice with a splash of lime Herbalists like borage tea for reducing fevers, relieving stress, and healing coughs.

CHAMOMILE (Matricaria chamomilla) – blooms in spring and summer: These flowers are slightly sweet with a woodsy taste. They can be steeped in teas or used as gar nish for any dish needing a boost o f s o m e t h i n g s p e c i a l “ Tr a d i t i o n a l ly, chamomile flower extracts have been used i n t e r n a l ly f o r r e s t l e s s n e s s a n d a n x i e t y, depression, insomnia, flatulence, indigestion, constipation, diar rhea, hemor rhoids” and much more, according to the American Botanical Council.

CHIVES (Allium schoenoprasum) –bloom late spring, early summer: From my backyard vegetable and flower gardens,

Chamomile flowers can be eaten or steeped in a tea to alleviate nervousness, anxiety, depression

one of my favourite picks is chive blossoms Since pinching off some of the flowers helps to keep my patch healthy, I always have a few of these onion-scented flowers handy to add a splash of pur ple to salad bowls, or to sprinkle on omelettes and gar nish other dishes Any flowers from the allium family (leeks, chives, garlic, onions) are pretty and delicious. Use them whenever you wish to add a savour y scent and flavour to a dish.

CHRYSANTHEMUM (Chrysanthemum) – blooms from July through October: This is a popular flower amongst connoisseurs, perhaps one of the most widely eaten flowers in the world The petals range from white and yellow to orange and red, and the taste can var y They most often have a tangy, pepper y taste and are wonderful sprinkled on salads and as topping for cold summer soups.

CLOVER (Trifolium repens) – blooms from May to August: These white and pur ple clover blossoms grow aplenty on lawns and grassy meadowlands. The flavour is mild and sweet. Clovers were brought to the New World by early settlers who recognized a good thing They have many uses as table fare and were also prized by herbalists like my grandmother who claimed that clover tea was a good remedy for whooping cough and bronchitis When used in poultices, the flowers can draw infection from wounds

DANDELION (Taraxacum off icinale) – blooms in spring and summer: Novice flower eaters can star t with the dandelion, which is one flower you won’t have to go far to f ind! Considered a nuisance weed by most lawn enthusiasts, these lowly flowers will take on a new appeal once you’ve tasted them. This plant is best known as a liver cleanser.

DILL (Anethum graveolens) – blooms in August, Sept: Grandma’s favourite garden blossoms were the tangy yellow flowers of dill. You don’t need much for adding a delightful taste of dill to any dish Rolling the flowers between your f ingers and sprinkling it on your food is a tasty way to dill up salads, open-faced sandwiches, dips and cold summer

MARIGOLD (Calendula

Off icinalis) – blooms June to September: These medicinal flowers are loaded with natu r a l p hy t o c h e m i c a l s t h a t give them anti-inflammator y proper ties The Dutch have used sun bright marigolds for ages to colour cheese, noodles, soups, puddings and other foods that need a splash of gold to make them more appetizing The flowers were historically used by French countr y peasants “to strengthen and comfor t the hear t.”

MILKWEED (Asclepias syriaca) – blooms in June, July: Milkweed buds g row in tight clusters at the ends of stems and are quite edible. To prepare them, remove the leaves, place in boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain, pour boiling water over, and cook for 5 minutes more Drain well and ser ve with melted butter They have a delicious, sweet taste. According to herbalist Lisa Yates, in June it’s easy to break off the top two inches of the milkweed plant, blanch, then stir-fr y and it takes like mild rapini Just be careful not to har vest too much because the plant is a favourite food of Monarch butterflies.

NASTURTIUM (Tropaeolum majus) – blooms June to September: These plants can be found trailing from planters on decks and balconies around Ontario all summer; they are beautiful to look at and interesting to eat. The orange and red blooms impar t a delicate pepper y flavour to any dish when ser ved as a gar nish

SQUASH FLOWERS – bloom late spring to early fall: These are another favourite, either eaten raw or dipped in batter and sautéed as a gour met treat Or stuff them with cooked rice and herbs, or simply use as a gar nish for summer meals.

V I O L E T ( Vi o l a O d o ra t a ) – bl o o m s i n m i d - M ay : Common garden violets (not the wild Bird’s-foot species which is protected in Ontario) make beautiful decoration for puddings, custards and cakes They g row in profusion in open gardens and are often one of the f irst flowers that bloom in spring.

WILD ROSE (Rosa acicularis) – blooms in June, July: Wild rose buds, petals, and fr uits or hips are an abundant pick that can keep a flower forager in good eating yearround! In spring, wild rosebuds are a nice addition to salads, soups and the teapot Come summer, the buds unfold

into petals which can be used in salads and puddings

And when roses create fr uit in the fall, they offer up fleshy hips which are recognized around the world as being a number one wilder ness sur vival food – providing a higher amount of vitamin C than oranges! And the good news is, the hips remain on their bare branches all winter long, making them a wonderful reward for a winter walk. Rosehips can be made into healthful tea, soup, jelly and dried into tangy fr uit leather But always discard the seeds which have bristly hairs that can ir ritate the mouth if eaten.

Wild Salad Fare

Edible wilder ness g reener y can be gathered on a larger scale than flowers since g reener y is more plentiful and dishes up more nutritional value.

Dandelion Leaves – One pick for a wild salad bowl or potherb pot is dandelion – its leaves make delicious salads when young and tender, and are good as cooked g reens when the leaves become tough and bitter They can be enjoyed as salad from spring to mid-summer When the spine of the leaves star ts to tur n milky they are ready for cooking as a potherb.

Nasturtium leaves – have a strong pepper y and citr usy taste and are excellent in the salad bowl or added to omelettes.

Plantain leaves – can be used for tea, salads, or cooked as a potherb

Stinging nettles – These make a delightful tea or cooked g reen When har vesting, wear gloves as they really do sting Herbalist Susun Weed recommends drinking daily nettle tea in the spring and summer as a good kidney tonic. It is also an excellent source of plant-based protein.

More Wild Greens – Other picks from the garden are cher vil flowers which have a slight anise taste, ear thy tasting chicor y flowers, and pepper y cilantro flowers – all of which can be sprinkled in the salad bowl for colour, aroma and flavour Threefold clover leaves look ver y char ming in a salad bowl as well, and if you have the luck of f inding a four-leafer, make sure it gets a special place at the table to bring all those seated a dose of good luck

Exercise Caution

When har vesting flowers, remember that if you want fr uits from the same plant, you must leave some flowers intact. According to g randma (who had the best gardens in our neck of the woods), taking a few blossoms is like pr uning and can actually encourage g rowth. But stripping off too many flowers depletes the har vest.

MY PANDEMIC STORY

– First Do No Harm

“For every drug that benefits a patient, there is a natural substance that can achieve the same effect ”

OnApril 18, 2023, the National Post published an ar ticle about two physicians in Ontario who had given up their licenses recently because of their opposition to the Covid mandates, masking, lockdowns, and experimental mRNA jabs called ‘vaccines’. This criticism of the medical status quo was ter med “professional misconduct” and considered wor thy of a reprimand. I was one of those physicians.

The Post ar ticle accused me of recommending Iver mectin to patients for prevention and treatment of Covid (a dr ug discredited by the medical authorities) But the tr uth is I never prescribed it because local phar macies were reluctant to supply it. (Many people were receiving Iver mectin prescriptions from other countries like India through the inter net.)

Sunshine Vitamin I resigned my membership in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and gave up my practice cer tif ication in November 2022.

I have also published dozens of ar ticles in Vitality magazine since its inception and have given yearly presentations on natural medicine at Whole Life Expo until the pandemic forced a stop to all conferences

Prior to my work with Vitality, I was the Alive Magazine Advisor and wrote ar ticles for them for over 20 years during the 1980s and 90s

Approximately 15 years ago the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO) began investigating physicians who practice Complementar y and Alter native Medicine (CAM), looking closely at their medical records, their prescriptions for natural hor mones like desiccated thyroid, and most recently for posts on Twitter and other social media concer ning Covid-19.

Feel free to look up any of my tweets from 2021 and what you will f ind is that I shared ar ticles by numerous doctors, scientists, and politicians who had serious reservations about lockdowns, face masks, the folly of distancing, and the experimental “vaccines” At that time I also criticized the lack of freedom of choice in health care. (Twitter handle: @drzoltanrona)

Eventually, a for mer patient whom I had not seen in over 20 years read my tweets in 2021 and complained to the CPSO that I was steering people away from being vaccinated

My stance on natural immunity was also controversial because I became convinced by scientif ic studies and my experience with patients that natural immunity is superior to t h e C ov i d - 1 9 va c c i n e . ( M a i n s t r e a m m e d i a ignores studies proving this fact.)

We told the investigators from the College of Physicians of Ontario that we

I was in general medical practice for over 44 years. I slowly shifted into Complementar y and Integ rative medical practice after f ive years of conventional medicine I have published 12 books on natural medicine including the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine and Vitamin D: The

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario then began questioning me along with my staff about my attitude toward vaccines We told the CPSO investigators that we believe in freedom of choice in vaccination and that most of our patients refused the jabs for a variety of reasons like side effects and repor ts they had read about vaccine injuries

I was then refer red to a disciplinar y hearing on charges of misconduct in November, 2022. In 44 years of practice, I had never experienced that I had always assumed that Canada was a countr y that encouraged free speech based

Healthcare Professionals and Patients Pressured by Government

What bothered me most, and what concer ned the vast majority of my patients, was the pressure they experienced from medical authorities to get the jab or lose their jobs, their ability to travel, visit restaurants and movie theaters, and even to visit doctors’ off ices One of my patients, who bowed to the pressure, died in his sleep a few days after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine. Another patient, whose cancer had been in remission, died suddenly after her cancer spread rapidly immediately following her second Covid-19 vaccine. (“Turbo cancer” is increasingly recognized as a side effect of vaccination )

Several patients told me that their doctors refused to see any unvaxxed patients even if they had no Covid symptoms. This was despite multiple sources, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, declaring that the Covid-19 vaccines do not prevent viral transmission.

Freedom of Choice Denied

One section of the Char ter guarantees freedom of choice in health care. By law, citizens cannot be forced to accept any medical treatment that they do not want For example, if you have cancer, you are allowed to refuse chemotherapy

If you have diabetes, you can refuse insulin injections. Millions of Canadians do so ever y year.

The choice about whether to be injected with the Covid19 vaccines, however, was denied to citizens during the pandemic and forced upon the medical profession to supply the jabs and all the boosters Doctors were not allowed to provide exemptions, and were encouraged to push the jabs on their patients.

None of this was acceptable to me since it violates the Hippocratic oath (“First do no har m”) as well as the Canadian Char ter of Rights and Freedoms.

In the end, it’s the public that has the most to lose as their

rights and freedoms are stripped away Instead of receiving unbiased, well-rounded health guidance from doctors, patients now receive only the pharma-approved dogma that feeds industry prof it Freedom of choice in healthcare no longer exists.

Access to Life-Saving Ivermectin Forbidden

In 2015, scientists William Campbell and Satoshi Omura received the Nobel prize for their discover y of Iver mectin, a broad spectr um anti-parasitic dr ug. In the award ceremony speech, Prof Hans Forssberg of Karolinksa Institute addressed Campbell and Omura, stating, “Your discoveries represent a paradigm shift in medicine, which has not only provided revolutionar y therapies for patients suffering from devastating parasitic diseases, but also promoted well-being and prosperity for individuals and society. The global impact of your discoveries and the resulting benef it to mankind are immeasurable ” (Dr Simon Goddek)

In the years that followed, researchers found that Iver mectin was effective against numerous viral infections as well Some studies even indicated that it worked to prevent and clear Covid-19 infections, when combined with zinc. (See Frontline Covid Care Alliance and Dr. Levy references below.) Despite this, the mainstream media attacked it as a de-wor ming dr ug suitable only for animals The media fur ther repor ted that Iver mectin was unsafe and ineffective for humans.

When I was questioned by the CPSO, they asked me whether or not I had prescribed Iver mectin for Covid Since no phar macy would allow the prescription, my hands were tied in writing Iver mectin prescriptions By the way, Iver mectin is a derivative of an herb known as Wor mwood (artemisia annua) which is also shown to be effective against vir uses and parasites. Many countries (e g Madagascar) have been advocating Wor mwood as a treatment for Covid infections as well as parasites.

There is also some evidence, mostly from animal studies, showing that Iver mectin has anti-cancer proper ties

What I prescribed instead of Iver mectin were the key n u t r i e n t s r e c o m m e n d e d i n my Vi t a l i t y a r t i c l e o n “Prevention and Treatment of Covid-19 ” These included:

1 Vitamin D3/K2 for clearing inflammation and building immunity to colds, ‘flus, and vir uses;

2. Iodine for killing a broad range of pathogens while strengthening immunity;

3. Vitamin C for its antiviral and immune-enhancing effects;

20 VITALITY MAGAZINE – SUMMER 2023 www vitalitymagazine com
Dulse is one of the sea vegetables that is high in iodine

Vitamin C can prevent a serious Covid infection, or if taken when infected it can reduce symptoms / duration of illness

4. Probiotics for replenishing the microbiome and nourishing the immune system;

5 . C u r c u m i n , a n ex t r a c t o f tur meric, for its antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-parasitic activity.

(Editor’s note: See the article URL in reference section for the complete list of recommended supplements.)

Thankfully she was acquitted of professional misconduct, so it seems like the chiropractic profession has some semblance of sanity in place

Covid Prevention and Treatment Advice Heavily Censored

In the early months of the pandemic, I wrote several ar ticles for Vitality magazine on natural Covid-19 treatments. I also posted these on my website (www highlevelwellness ca) Shor tly afterwards, I received a 4-page letter from Health Canada demanding that I remove the ar ticles from my site because they were advocating unproven remedies like vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc, quercetin, N-AC, iodine, intravenous vitamin C, selenium and others.

Not wanting to end up in cour t while wasting time and money on legal defense, I opted to remove the ar ticles from my website Two years later Health Canada sent me another letter threatening prosecution for recommending natural cancer remedies This was despite numerous published studies on the benef its of remedies like curcumin, IV vitamin C, and many other proven remedies that suppor t cancer victims. Once again I was forced to remove those ar ticles (Editor’s note: These ar ticles do still remain in place on Vitality’s website.)

Censorship like this used to exist in Nazi Ger many, the Soviet Union, and still exists in Communist China Authors of ar ticles on alter native remedies are regularly j a i l e d i n t h o s e c o u n t r i e s o r s o m e h ow p u n i s h e d . Assassination attempts are often successful against those daring to f ight back

Here in Ontario, several medical doctors have been placed under investigation by the CPSO, and some have been suspended A few of these MDs have launched cour t challenges. So far, none have been successful, and I don’t think any of them will be.

www vitalitymagazine com VITALITY MAGAZINE – SUMMER 2023 21

“The COVID-19 national emergency officially ended earlier this month but censorship and silencing of criticism clearly have not ”

Reports of Vaccine Damage Suppressed

In my view, it is unwise to believe what the gover nment tells you about healthcare. The system is strongly biased against freedom of choice and patient privacy (e.g., vaccine passpor ts, medical histor y privacy, and censorship on social media and mainstream media, etc.). I have come to believe that we are living in a censorship state orchestrated by the dr ug companies

Regarding Covid vaccination, repor ts of vaccine injuries have been censored and the media has failed to repor t the tr uth about vaccine safety and eff icacy It has also failed to repor t that natural immunity experienced by those who recovered from Covid is proven to be more effective than any of the available vaccines.

1,000 Studies Point to Toxicity of Covid Vaccines

I recently came across an ar ticle which listed 1,000 scientif ic studies demonstrating that the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines can be lethal. Of course, the mainstream media and the usual gover nment spokespeople have attempted to censor this infor mation even though it was published in hundreds of peer reviewed scientif ic jour nals.

The ar ticle was dated Januar y 5, 2022 and it is more than likely that the number of studies by now have validated the superiority of natural immunity over the mandated jabs. This is impor tant life saving infor mation. Doesn’t the medical profession want to save lives?

Why I Gave Up My Medical License

I chose to give up my medical license on Nov 5, 2022 After I stopped working for the gover nment, I opted to continue advising clients who came to see me about improving their health through diet and supplements. There is far less stress on me now that I no longer write dr ug or hor mone prescriptions. And my understanding is that there are many more doctors planning to give up their licenses in the near future

At my off ice, I have a naturopath on staff for the benef it of patients who need cer tain lab tests and bioidentical hormone prescriptions If patients need intravenous vitamin therapies, then the naturopath refers them for that ser vice

It’s been a complex and diff icult job changing the way I’m operating but so far, it’s been successful. Feel free to make an appointment to see me for wellness counseling and advice on diets and supplements. I’ll continue to write ar ticles for Vitality so stay tuned for that.

ebrate, and acknowledge each other’s medicines.

When low self wor th takes root in our hear ts, we begin to separate from the Sacred Hoop. The Sacred Hoop is what connects us all to one another, Great Spirit, and to all living beings It helps us to feel a par t of the larger life circle around us and unites us as brothers and sisters.

As low self wor th g rows inside of us, we forget the essence of who we are, our tr ue value, and our sacredness within our life circle

Because men and women are made differently from one another physically, emotionally, and spiritually, their low self wor th differs in the way it manifests itself

In men with low self wor th, the glands most often affected are the prostate and adrenals The prostate helps men connect to their male power and self conf idence, while the adrenals provide the physical power to take action. Fear and guilt are common emotions experienced by men with low self wor th, and they tend to have diff iculty cultivating self conf idence and balance in work and love relationships

The organs and glands most affected in women with low self wor th are the liver and thymus. The liver helps provide the energy of asser tiveness and healthy boundaries in social relationships. The thymus helps provide the conf idence to speak her tr uth Women with low self wor th often feel powerless and silenced in their relationships.

Indigenous Ceremony for Healing Low Self Worth

When a spirit sickness such as low self wor th comes to life, Aboriginal and Indigenous people call upon Great Spirit, as well as the medicines of the seven directions, to bring healing to the person in need. Each direction brings its own medicines to assist the individual on their healing jour ney The seven directions are Nor th, South, East, West, Mother Ear th, Father Sky, and Within.

To begin healing low self wor th, star t with Dr umming Medicine from the Nor th, Prayer or Chanting Medicine from the East, and the Medicines that come from looking and listening from Within

Drumming realigns our mind, body and spirit, reconnects us to the Sacred Hoop, and brings us back into harmony

Using our voice heals the pain we car ry in our heart, reconnects us to our power centres, and re-awakens the parts of us that have shut down. Inward reflection helps us to remember who we are and embrace who we can be.

Daily Ceremonial Healing

1Create a sacred space where you can be still and undisturbed

2Write a jour nal entr y that lists all of your gifts and talents and the ways in which you have contributed to society This list reflects contributions made to work, family, friends, and community. Also list special skills or gifts and ever ything you like about yourself

removes negativity and prepares your space for your healing.

4Sit comfor tably and connect to your Medicine Bowl, which is made up of both hip bones, your pelvic floor and your lower belly. It holds the essence of who you are and is the source of gifts and talents in both men and women

The health of your Medicine Bowl plays an integ ral role in maintaining feelings of well being and wor th

Breathe into the lower belly por tion of your bowl several times Once you feel connected to your bowl, begin to use the medicine of your voice to deepen your connection Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe out make an “oh” sound that comes from deep within your bowl If you do it properly, you will be able to feel the vibration of your voice in your Medicine Bowl The sounds used as Voice Medicine Healing in Indigenous and Aboriginal tribes were often chants or seed sounds str ung together to create a vibrational healing frequency The “oh” sound offers a simple but effective healing vibration as you direct your voice and breath into your Medicine Bowl Continue this exercise for 10 minutes

5Onceyou have awakened your Medicine Bowl with your voice and breath, you can begin dr umming. Dr umming is the hear tbeat of Mother Ear th, and reactivates your natural rhythms, reconnecting your hear t and Medicine bowl so that they can work in unison to bring you into spiritual healing and re-alignment. Dr um-ming at a frequency of 2 beats per second for 9 beats, with the 9th beat lasting one full second, will bring your Medicine Bowl and hear t back into har mony with one another.

For those of you who do not have a dr um, the same exercise can be done using your hands. Place one palm on your hear t and one palm your Medicine Bowl The Medicine Bowl can be accessed at your lower belly between your navel and your pubic bone. Using both hands at the same time, gently pat your hear t and Medicine bowl simultaneously at two pats per second for a count of 9 beats with the last beat lasting one second Repeat for 10 minutes or until you feel a shift in your sense of wellbeing

The Special Role of Ceremony

Daily practice of this ceremony will offer a source of spiritual healing that will assist you on your jour ney of healing low self wor th Star t your ceremony each day by smudging and giving yourself g ratitude while reading the list of the things you value about yourself.

The ceremonial practices of looking inward, smudging, using voice, breath and dr um medicine are ver y powerful tools for initiating healing of our spirit Taking the time to acknowledge your gifts, talents and contributions while giving g ratitude to yourself for who you are daily will accelerate your healing jour ney where low self wor th is concer ned

Bringing ceremony into your daily routine will not only allow this self acknowledgement but will offer the spiritual nourishment that is lacking in many of our social connections, as it will heal your relationship with yourself As you heal your relationship with yourself, you will begin embrac-

ing who you are and remembering who you can be As you begin to remember your wor th, your self love and acceptance will g row As you embrace yourself through your own ceremony and celebrations, you will also be able to awaken self wor th in others through a celebration of who they are, their gifts and talents As we empower ourselves through the healing of our self wor th, we can make changes that will have a positive effect on our health and wellbeing and on the health of our relationships and the people we touch each day.

Indigenous and Aboriginal wisdom on healing is based on the foundation that our mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and need to be in har mony in order for us to achieve an optimal state of wellbeing It is also believed that all diseases of the physical body and the mind begin with a sickness that takes hold in our Spirit and that the “Spirit Sickness” must be cured in order to reclaim our health. It would be helpful to incor porate this ideology into the model of conventional care when treating physical disease and mental health issues.

Free to Fly Canada, through r e t a i n e d c o u n s e l U m a r Sheikh of Sheikh Law, has f iled a Class Action lawsuit against the Canadian gover nment on behalf of aviation employees har med as a r e s u l t o f t h e va c c i n a t i o n mandates.

Plaintiffs Greg Hill, Brent War ren, and Tanya Lewis are representative of a proposed class of those subjected to tor tuous har m by Transpor t Canada’s Interim Order Respecting Cer tain R e q u i r e m e n t s f o r C iv i l

Aviation Due to COVID-19, No. 43.

T h i s O r d e r m a n d a t e d vaccination for those within the civil aviation community in 2021 In so doing, it induced employers to violate contractual ag reements for thousands of Canadian employees, violated rights guaranteed by the Char ter, and interfered with free and f air collective bargaining This is the f irst time a case o f t h i s t y p e h a s b e e n b r o u g h t i n C a n a d i a n Cour ts

The class action is open to unvaccinated employees a d ve r s e ly a ff e c t e d by Transpor t Canada’s Interim Order, No 43 This could be reflected through ter min a t i o n o f e m p l oy m e n t , coerced early retirement, or suspension. These suspensions were often called a leave of absence by employers, but given their involuntar y nature were not thus, by def inition. Members of Free to Fly feel that they have been failed by our gover nment, unions, and employers, and this proceeding is a means to f ight back.
