Art has always been a large part of my life, drawing, painting, mixed media; the need to create is ever present in my daily life. Photography came to me later in life; the gift of a camera and macro lens opened an entire new way to create and expand my artistic
creativity. The camera gave me the opportunity to see all of the incredible beauty that surrounds me every day. Looking through the lens gave me a new perspective; the detail and amazing color that was right in front of me became visible in a way I had never seen before. I am greatly inspired by the depth of color and the intricate beauty and detail in the simple things that I see every day.
