Assess Editable quizzes and tests in RTF (rich text format) allow you to customize assessments or administer pre-designed quizzes, tests, and exams. Corresponding audio scripts and answer keys also are provided.
Scripts and Translations Videoscripts are provided for the Fotonovela, Flash cultura, Panorama cultural, and En pantalla video programs. Depending on how you work with video and culture in your classroom, use scripts to give students additional support for comprehension of the target language or to create cloze activities for targeted listening practice. Skim the scripts for quicker course planning.

Practice & Communicate To enhance class time with your students, choose additional activities from the Activity Pack based on their needs. For extra practice with vocabulary and grammar, or for a cumulative review of a lesson’s grammar points, use the Más práctica worksheets. If you want to get your students talking, work with the Information Gap activities, surveys, role-plays, Integrated Performance Assessments, or the ¡Atrévete! board game.

Teacher Resources provide you with a wealth of material that is ideal for communicative practice in class. Print copies of these activities or simply project them on a screen for students to see during class.
There is a wealth of resources online to support instruction using Senderos. For details on how to integrate these Teacher Resources into your lessons, see the front matter of this Teacher’s Edition on pages T16 to T48.

Lección 5 Integrated Performance Assessment
Before teaching this chapter, review the Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA) and its accompanying scoring rubric. Use the IPA to assess students’ progress toward proficiency targets at the end of the chapter. IPA Context: Six students from your Spanish class will be chosen to spend a week in Puerto Rico, at the Hotel Vistahermosa in Lajas. Students will be chosen in pairs based on their presentation to the selection committee.
Voice boards online allow you and your students to record and share up to five minutes of audio. Use voice boards for presentations, oral assessments, discussions, directions, etc. Teacher’s Edition • Lesson Five

Integrated Performance Assessments (IPAs) begin with a real-life task that engages students’ interest. To complete the task, students progress through the three modes of communication: they read, view, and listen for information (interpretive mode); they talk and write with classmates about what they have experienced (interpersonal mode); and they share formally what they have learned (presentational mode). A critical step in administering the IPA is to define and share rubrics with students before beginning the task. They need to be aware of what successful performance should look like.
