Partake Gastropub (Partake) is owned and run by husband-and-wife team, Aaron and Malicia Love. Aaron is also the talented chef behind the scenes in the kitchen. Although they were not the original owners, the Loves have been running the cozy and eclectic restaurant for the last several years, Aaron working as the chef for the previous owner as well. He has plenty of experience in the culinary world to bring to the table at Partake. He has worked at both small, local restaurants and large-scale resorts. The menu at Partake is comfortable yet sophisticated at the same time, always served with a beautiful presentation. Their burger has been deemed by many to be one of the best in North County and can be enjoyed with their famous duck fat fries. Start your dining experience with a long-time menu favorite, the crispy, fried chickpea appetizer. Another tempting option is the Paseo Street Fries loaded with smoked gouda bechamel, house andouille sausage and Tapatio aioli. For dinner you can order up unique items like lamb tacos, shrimp and grits or a Cubano sandwich, or go for more traditional staples like mac and cheese, salads, soup, flat breads, steaks and pastas. Local beers and boutique wines are ready to please your palate and compliment your food choices. If you want a solid selection of fresh, delicious and creatively prepared food in a comfortable atmosphere with a great vibe, then Partake is the place for you! Almost just as important as the food is providing their customers with quality entertainment and giving local musicians an audience and a place to perform their craft at Partake. You will find a wide array of creatives hanging out at the restaurant from bands to solo artists, to belly dancers, to open mic aficionados. It is all about community, connection, sharing and enjoying good food, company and entertainment at Partake. They are welcoming of all in the community and offer something for everyone. If you have not been there recently, you will note that in addition to their two main dining areas in the main building, they have added a side patio with lots of seating, heaters, overhead patio lights and movie screen.
