Power Supply Units and CSC

Visive outdoorIP67 Power Supply Units include maintenance and protection features, allowing faster and fault free installation and peace of mind operation.

All our outdoor power supplies include our patented Current Sense Circuit (CSC) as standard, providing a greater level of protection than other LED contour / border solutions as well as making installation and maintenance easier.

The Visive LED contour / border solutions are all plug and play. Simply connect your Hi-Lite™ or Hi-Brow™ sections into the PSU supplied and your installation is automatically protected by the CSC.

The CSC continuously and automatically performs tests on the DC supply of the LED contour tubing installation. If a fault is detected the DC supply is automatically disabled. This automatic detection and power shutdown helps to dramatically reduce the risks associated with using any electrical product outdoors.

The Visive LED border/contour tubing is already a brilliantly safe product for use in public access areas as it is safe to touch with zero risk of shock. The CSC system adds to these existing safety features making both Hi-Brow™30 and HiLite™30 ideal products for use in retail chain stores, hotels, restaurants, cinemas, service stations, supermarkets and casinos.

Although the CSC’s primary function is safety, the device does come with a status LED which indicates the cause of the fault. The pulse ratio of the status LED relates to a specific fault issue. This troubleshooting aid means quicker fault diagnostics, considerably less down time and cost savings.
