NATURE TOURISM BLUE FLAG BEACH Ventspils Blue Flag Beach attracts holidaymakers with its natural beauty – deep sun bathing spots in the dunes and a white, fine sand seashore, as well as infrastructure created for the convenience of guests – wooden footbridges leading to the sea, children’s playgrounds, benches, as well as the surfers’ area. SOUTH PIER PROMENADE The South Pier Promenade is a place for enjoying romantic walks, beautiful sunsets, sea waves and ships entering the port. The 19 m high Observation Tower, equipped with binoculars, offers a wonderful view of the city and the sea from above. The 4 m high sculpture “Cow-Sailor” has also found its place here; the fishing vessels “Azova” and “Grots” are available for viewing, as well as the giant “Chair” made of anchor chain links.
