SIOUX FALLS CVB ANNOUNCES 2014 VISITOR INDUSTRY AWARD WINNERS Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) hosted the 2014 Visitor Industry Luncheon on May 13, 2014. The luncheon featured guest speaker Captain Mark Kelly and included a presentation of awards to the visitor industry. The Visitor Industry Luncheon is a celebration of the Sioux Falls visitor industry. Each year the CVB recognizes people and businesses that show consistent support to the industry by presenting awards in the following four categories: Business, Media, First Impressions and Heart of the City. Congratulations to the 2014 industry winners! Business: Scheels All Sports Media: Results Radio/Townsquare Media First Impressions: Tracy Kolb, General Manager of Hampton Inn Heart of the City: Dan Radigan, owner Dairy Queen/Orange Julius in the Empire Mall Two special awards were presented to retiring city council members Jim Entenman and Sue Aguilar. An award was also presented to retiring CVB Registration staff Carol Nugteren for 35 years of service.
