Inside the museum’s Woodward Theatre or outside at the amphitheater, you can catch live shows all year round from some of the greatest musicians in the business. This is where Bluegrass music meets the beauty of nature, and this four-day music festival brings more than enough of both. Held on 152 acres of land at Yellow Creek Park – one of the most breathtaking parks in Kentucky, visitors from all over the world (and all 50 states) travel annually to Owensboro to experience the magical, eclectic, music-centric experience that is ROMP. With past headliners that include Billy Strings, Alison Krauss, Steve Martin, John Prine, and other great stars of the stage, you won’t find a better lineup of Bluegrass music legends anywhere else. Enjoy the sunshine and warmth that comes with the month of June, along with lightadorned pathways, late-night jam sessions, and some of the greenest nature trails you’ve ever walked.
