A 15km drive brings you to the small country town of Samford Valley, home to a galore of tucked away foodie havens, and well-known for many niche art and craft stores, heritage walks, railway themed park and the family-favourite Cedar Creek rock pools with spectacular waterfalls. Make sure you stop and explore!

Historic Dayboro Continuing north is the charming town of Dayboro, steeped in rural Aussie history and cultural influences. To find out more about this town, a stop at The Dayboro District Historical Society within Dayboro Cottage on your way to the markets is a must do! Just next door sits the Hay Cottage Arts and Crafts Association, and nearby you’ll find the Dayboro Art Gallery. Samford Valley

Woodford Leaving Dayboro, follow Mount Mee Road (Tourist Route 58) towards Ocean View, passing beautiful venues, (it’s no wonder this is a hot spot for weddings) and unique accommodation, until you reach the small country town of Woodford, famous for the Woodford Folk Festival and its yesteryear charm. With quaint nostalgic buildings, quirky shops, fantastic eateries and unique shopping, along with a heritage railway and historical museum that proudly testify to the region’s diverse past, there’s plenty to see and do in Woodford all year round, not just during the Woodford Folk Festival.
