In the last twenty years, many of the fishing grounds have ensured stable catches of large trout. Each year fish up to 10 kilos are caught. Fishing is especially good in the spring, through the summer and in the autumn. There are plenty of grounds to explore, and whether you’re into fly fishing or spin fishing, you will - with a bit of luck and perseverance – have regular trophy fish in reach. BRACKISH PIKE FISHING South Zealand and Møn offer some of the best brackish pike fishing. There are lots of inlets, coves, creeks, streams and lagoons where you will find pike. The fishes have very good conditions for growth in the brackish water and can therefore reach record sizes. They can be caught with a variety of different baits, but many locals believe in bait that imitates eel or herring.
TROLLING FISHING Denmark's best salmon fishing starts at Klintholm Havn on Møn. The fish are found at relatively deep waters in the Baltic Sea. Especially in the spring and summer months it is possible to catch some large, strong salmon. FISHING ZEALAND - regional cooperation ensures sustainable angling tourism. Vordingborg, Odsherred and Roskilde Municipality are cooperating with the Danish Anglers' Association by making a special effort in the improvement of watercourses, thereby doubling the number of smolt releases around Zealand and the islands, as well as documenting the number of spawning excavations. The aim is to make inshore fishing for sea trout and brackish water perch and pike even better. And, together with the trades and industries, to develop services for anglers in the Fishing Zealand regions. [IT] PESCARE SULLA COSTA Lungo le coste dell’isola di Møn è possibile dedicarsi alla pesca della trota di mare con risultati sensazionali. Molte zone adatte a questa attività si sono dimostrate particolarmente produttive negli ultimi 20 anni, che hanno visto anche la cattura di esemplari con un peso fino a 10 kg. Le stagioni migliori per una pesca produttiva sono la primavera, l’estate e l’autunno.
