4. Beach Photography Together with a group of students from ‘A4A’ (a teens group from central part of Malta,) we participated in a Blue Flag activity at the Bugibba Perched beach. During the first part of the session, an instructor guided the participants through mobile photography techniques, helping them to take good quality and compelling photos. Whilst taking photos, participants admired the harmonious colours along the sand contrasting the blue sky. However, the litter left by a number of beachgoers also struck the participants’ eyes. Afterwards, they were urged to draw the scene based on either their surroundings or the photos they took.
