We’re also bringing back the fabulous pocketsized festival-within-a-festival PARK VIBES in The Peace Garden, so pack your festy clothes (and maybe even a picnic!?) and join us to try some circus skills or check out the fabulous talents at the Future Youth stage! And it wouldn’t be a circus, arts and music festival without the MUSIC! Rock & roll legends at The Nerve Centre will be throwing out major tunes at The Hidden Pavilion (behind The Guildhall) with the best local musicians and bands programmed throughout the day!!

Treats We Have For

We are back again with the best Circus, Arts & Music festival for its age in Derry. And it’s officially our SWEET SIXTEENTH! (OMG, how cute!)

We are taking over the city streets again, but this time the festival will take place smack-bang at the start of the summer hollybobs on the 1st & 2nd July because we have some other exciting treats to bring you in August (keep your eyes peeled later in the programme!).

As we are 10 years on from Derry’s City of Culture year (can you believe it!?) we wanted to bring you an amazing programme to celebrate art, culture and the incredible talents our city has to offer!

First up is the incredible Simple Cypher with their combination of cyr wheel, juggling & hip hop (whaaat!?). We’ve also got the outrageously talented Simon Llewellyn - love circus and mad skills? Love football? Well then Simon is your man! Next up, the brilliant Mc Fois will bring his bewitching charm to the city centre! And we also have the incredible Doris & Mabel’s Book Club taking to the sky with aerial, acrobatics and bucketloads of silliness! And back by popular demand… Frankie Magilligan will be here to spoil you with his hilarious antics and swoon-worthy juggling skills! And as if that wasn’t enough, our own incredible local artists will be taking over the town with their larger (and madder) than life walkabout and roaming performances.

And last, but certainly not least… we have a special wee treat for all you adults out there! On Saturday 1st July, The Curious Cabaret is BACK for one night only at The Nerve Centre. Expect comedy, music and circus wows (along with a few cheeky wee beers at The Nerve’s bar if you’re that way inclined).

So, get the diary out now and mark 1st & 2nd July - BEST DAYS EVER! And join us for Carnival of Colours 2023!!

P.S. Please share your Carnival pics, selfies, etc with us on the interweb! We pure love the craic.

Amami is, simply… a love story.

Amelio Pelò has a bewitching charm and muscles of steel but… he is a lonely man *awwww*. Like every lonely person, all he needs is love!

His flirting techniques are amazing, hilarious, touching and, well… a little pathetic (sorry Amelio). Amelio will use his amazing hat juggling, balancing, ballet attempting skills to woo the audience… or at least he’ll try!
