Getting Here By Train Direct trains to Chichester from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and Gatwick (amongst others) makes this an easy journey. The journey time from London is about 1 hour 40 minutes.

By Car If coming by car, the A27 or A272 from east to west and the A3 or A286 north to south makes Chichester an ideal base for exploring Sussex and Hampshire.

Car Parking All car parks in Chichester are within easy walking distance of the city centre. There are 10 Short Stay ones and five Long Stay ones. Midhurst, Petworth and Sesley all offer free parking, for at least two hours.

By Coach or Bus Regular services operate from London Victoria Coach Station. The Coastliner route links Chichester as far as Brighton or Southsea, with local bus services in and around the City.
