Matchday magic with new sporting partnerships

We’re delighted to announce some new partnerships with Ipswich Town Football Club and Essex Cricket.

Our five-year deal with Essex Cricket sees us continue as their official beer partner until 2029. A range of our drinks, including Level Head, will be available at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground in Chelmsford.

Elsewhere, we’re proud to be continuing our relationship with Ipswich Town as their official pouring partner. The club will continue to serve beers like Level Head across the concourse and hospitality areas at Portman Road. Fans can also look forward to enjoying Estrella Galicia on matchdays.

The agreement is part of a long history we have with the club. We were front-of-shirt sponsors from 1995 until 2001, with Ipswich Town fan Ed Sheeran the current shirt sponsor. This deal will see us continue as one of their ‘Elite Partners’.

We also partner the PCA who champion the ongoing interests of professional cricketers in England and Wales. Last month, they held a Legends match against Hornsey Cricket Club where we made the most of showcasing our brilliant beers and brilliant brands!

What were the highlights?

• Hornsey Cricket Club were previously a Carlsberg account, now locked into Greene King for two years

• Hazy Day and Estrella Galicia are permanently on the bar

• Over 300 people attended the event and the club raised £33k for charity

• We supplied two events bars, café barriers, branded glasses, POS and Hazy Day t-shirts for the bar staff

• Fantastic branding across the event with our beers on the table

• Attendees drank the bar dry of Hazy Day!
