The query editor
is automatically activated. If we want to work in our Student course database, we have to make sure it is active. If it is not active, we have to activate it. We show you how to do this in the following sections.
1.3.2 Opening the Query Editor Using the New Query Button
You can also open the query editor by selecting the New Query button from the toolbar (leftmost icon), as shown in Figure 1.13.

If you used the New Query button in Figure 1.13 without selecting the Student course database, you will see the screen shown in Figure 1.14.
