A exposição levou a praia para o Museu Histórico Nacional, reunindo 130 obras que resgatam a histórica relação dos cariocas com a praia ao longo das décadas, mostrando a evolução da moda, dos costumes e dos esportes praianos. Neste catálogo temos um resumo da exposição, num passeio pela história do Rio de Janeiro, vista por um ângulo todo peculiar.

Following this point of view, we decided to sponsor the exhibition “When the sea became Rio” reaffirming the position of the companies belonging to the FIRST RH GROUP, which aims to contribute to enhance culture in Brazil, most of all in Rio, its birthplace. The exhibition will bring the beach to the Historic National Museum, gathering 130 works that recover the historic relationship of the Cariocas with the beach over successive decades, showing the evolution of fashion, habits and beach sports. It is worth visiting the exhibition since it is a stroll through Rio’s history seen from a unique perspective.
