The Giddy Up Coffeehouse in Folsom, Louisiana loves hosting this one-a-month breakfast for those who have a hand in holding this community together. Frank Richerand welcomes those who are looking to talk about the town’s happenings over delicious coffee and pastries, along with an assortment of breakfast biscuits and other morning delectables, every first Friday of every month. Those from districts near and far travel to Folsom for this time to enjoy a cup of coffee and to talk shop with those they work closely with, and those they seek to network with as well. Some of whom were in attendance at this lively breakfast were Mike Cooper, Pat Brister, and Warren Montgomery. They gave some wonderful speeches via open mic to the patrons of Giddy Up, speaking about the hurdles they have seen the government and community overcome in the past decade, and where they see Louisiana rising even further in the future. It was a productive and jovial meeting of some of the greatest minds Louisiana has as its leaders, and good thing it happens once a month!
