Although the couple could have easily lost their cool when the ring bearer’s pillow was temporarily MIA, the rest of their day was all that they could have hoped for, complete with a tasty buffet of Southern food including shrimp and grits, pork tenderloin with apple apricot chutney, beef medallions, Gouda scalloped potatoes, and veggies catered by Artisan Kitchen as well as a delicious naked cake whose layers of chocolate, white, and chocolate swirl could easily satisfy everyone on the guest list. Making it sweeter still, the cake was made by a close friend; and for those looking for a little more variety, there were strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate cupcakes worthy of a good swoon.
