Let's Play . . . test the Psychic! By Psychic Rhiannon
There seems to be a growing obsession with this game, as though each and every psychic is completely incapable of assisting clients unless their abilities have been test driven by the client. There's many ways it has happened to me in sessions, either the client simply wants to abuse the connect before hiring policy I have by extending it far beyond the verification I give them, or they quite bluntly tell me they need me to connect first, or even worse, tell me they'd like to test me first. I find it ironic because in each and every session I do I am being tested, everyday. Not to mention the fact that I've been tested by three different psychic certification agencies, all who have told me I have strong capabilities. Then there's also the years of experience behind me, the close to 4000 ratings and of course the education in Metaphysics. I can't say that the game is fair, and this is for a good reason. It's the fact that any other professional is trusted based on their qualifications hanging on the wall. You don't go to a doctor and decide you need to test them before they help you heal, nor do you do it to the dentist, the psychologist, the plumber, the technician or even the mechanic! You're more likely to be turned down than helped in the long run. It's just plain rude to take advantage of anyone that is offering their time, their expertise, their insight, and their guidance. It's hard enough to find someone in this world that is willing to help someone out, willing to listen, willing to be there. The least one can do is be grateful for it and give something in return for that person's generosity. I personally value my gifts and my ability to help others with it. I live by the philosophy of Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. In his biography he explains that when he originally founded the healing energies, he went straight to those in the most dire need, healing them and helping them to improve their lives by working, instead of begging. He found that through the healing work he did, these people were able to improve their lives. Dr. Usui moved on to others that needed healing because so many were in need. Page 6
However, months, sometimes even weeks later, the same people were back in the gutter, living the same life they had been freed from. Dr. Usui learned the lesson that anything that does not have a value to it, is not valued. These people did not have to work for their freedom, they didn't need to pay for it, and so living a free life was no more to them than a free lunch. The philosophy that developed was the understanding that when anything is given, an exchange must occur. Both parties must benefit from the exchange. Sometimes this came across as trade, but most commonly it became monetary exchange for services. The bottom line however is that any services, or goods that are not valued enough by the owner to have a price tag attached them, will not be valued at all by any others that take advantage of those services or goods. Basically, anything free is worthless to everyone, whether owner or receiver. Unfortunately in today's world, greed has taken many people over. Since the world went into a recession, people have become monsters, believing that all companies should have a sale on, that the government should magickally fix the problem and make everyone wealthy. People are brainwashed by the belief that they deserve to have a few free handouts. The only result is that they've lost respect for the world around them. There is no longer a balance of giving and receiving. Instead of being part of the solution, they are adding to the problem. In my world, that obsession comes across as the test the psychic game. The game where all the answers come free without hire, and the client leaves with a hollow satisfaction that will only add to their misery in the long run. The simple truth of it is that we're all a victim of the same problem. The fault doesn't fall on the doctor, the dentist, or the mechanic, it falls on every one of us. The only way to restore the balance is to restore the sanctity of giving and receiving. Giving to others what we can, in order to receive that which we need. By doing so, we restore our respect in the world, we make another person's day brighter, and we get that much closer to the glory days we were so used to living in.

Truly there is no need for the game, who I am hasn't been changed by the unfortunate state of the world. I'm still here to help people realize that the happiness they long for, can be found in time with hard work, dedication and patience. Similarly, as I have not changed, neither has my integrity or my beliefs. I still believe that anything that is not valued is worthless, and I still believe that what I offer is very valuable.

Sitting on the couch with a friend one day, we were talking about her life purpose. As is usually the case when I talk to friends, she was telling me about her fears - of breaking out of her corporate job and venturing to Spain to become a healer. We chatted about the reasons why she felt stuck, what created the fear and her need to feel absolutely secure in everything. Minutes turned into hours and we finally got off the couch way past our bedtimes. The next morning she told me that in meditation she discovered that she needed to put a plan in place for moving within a year and thanked me for inspiring her to find her path. This seems to be a constantly repeating pattern in my life… casual conversations turn into explorations of faith, relationships, money and anything else that causes confusion and anxiety in so many. It’s not to say that I don’t have the same fears, it is just that it all crystallizes before me when talking with others. The words swim in my head like puzzle pieces and over the course of the conversation they lock into place one by one. And so I sat there wondering how I could take this gift and use it to help people. I am a healer by nature and trade, so it seemed inconceivable to me that I could only help others find clarity with their problems on a one on one basis through casual conversation. I decided to add an action item to my manifestation plan to figure out how to better use this gift by the end of the year – little did I know the answer would come much sooner. A week later I went into Astral Travel with the purpose of creating a new learning relationship with a Pegasus. I teach Astral Travel and use it, along with dream work, to learn and grow. I find that the combination of active Astral Travel and passive Dreams work best for me to acquire and digest new knowledge. Page 10
I had been longing to work with a Pegasus for a long time. They are majestic beings living in the 3rd Spiritual Dimension. I often work through Greek archetypes, therefore Pegasus was a natural extension of that affinity. I prepared my space with all the necessary rituals for protection, gridded and sealed my room with Sacred Geometry to build up the energy, grabbed my notebook and set out to meet my first Pegasus. I used the circle, square and triangle to construct a vehicle for my Astral Travel, set my intention for the 3rd Dimension and arrived on the platform full of excitement. I walked through the lush landscape of the Astral Plane passing many beings as I searched out a Pegasus. Eventually I was guided to a beautiful meadow with a small stream and there he was. Actually, I can’t really tell you if this first one was a he or she since I have subsequently learned that I don’t always meet the same Pegasus and they each have varying amounts of masculine and feminine energy. I sat quietly on a rock and waited until he was comfortable enough to speak. The energy in the 3rd Dimension is very different than here on the earth plane so I was only able to stay for about 15 minutes, but in that time we had a great conversation. I asked if he would be my teacher, to which he replied, “of course, come back when you are ready.” About a week later, I repeated the process, landing in the same lush meadow and seeking out a Pegasus. This time, I came armed with something I wanted to work through and he was happy to oblige. Going back to the conversation with my friend, I wanted to know how I could best help people. I already teach classes and provide several healing modalities and empowerments, but something was missing. He looked at me and said quite plainly that I needed to write a spiritual advice column. I was floored! This was not an idea I had ever dreamed of, not even once. We spoke about it at length and he gave me a few

ideas on names, topics and how to go about developing it. His last piece of advice was not to move to fast; I was to take this through the four worlds of Kabbalah - from Idea all the way to Action. As a Kabbalist, I understood the importance of giving each world the time it needed. I thanked him profusely and after discussing a few other things, we parted ways and I returned back to my own dimension. Pegasus provided me the Idea, the first Kabbalistic world of Atziluth, so I spent the following month on the next two worlds: Briah (Thinking) and Yetzirah (Planning). Pegasus also told me that a man would come into my life to guide me through this process. This came in the form of Blue, my brilliant web developer and friend. Though he probably doesn’t even realize it, all the questions he answered and pondering we did over instant messenger provided me with the guidance I needed to move out of Briah and start formulating my plan in Yetzirah. I worked through how I was going to launch the column, but I still needed a name. I went through much iteration, and then came another spark from the creative world of Atziluth. I was told to look at the Hebrew letter Gimel and the terms I use to describe myself. I have always considered myself a bridge, here to help people understand each other and creating paths between disparate worlds. Gimel is associated to bridge (and Camel) and is the Great Mother that welcomes you once you cross the abyss of Da’at. It is the 3rd letter of the Hebrew alphabet representing Binah, the 3rd Sephirah on the Tree of Life. Binah symbolizes "Understanding" and "processed wisdom," also known as deductive reasoning. And with that, Inspirations from Binah found its name and purpose. A direct channel from the nurturing, archetypical feminine energy of Binah to the Kingdom of Malkuth, where we live. We must learn to manifest in the physical, for all the wisdom of the Universe does us no good if we do not learn how to use it on Earth. And now I share that Understanding with you…

struggle to help their families both financially and emotionally. It is up to me and there isn’t a day that does not go by when this is a conversation between my wife and me. I have responsibilities, too. I have three children, all of whom have needs: clothing, food and shelter, but I cannot turn my back on my other family, my original family.

The Violet Journey to each of us there is a time to under stand those in our life but is there a time to know when to speak up? - J.c. Writing for Maurice I am aware that I can be myself but I can always be a better person. There is a family waiting for me at home, but I haven’t the courage to return. Growing up, I was the youngest of six children in a family that was poor financially but not poor in love. We were happy; “were” being the operative word. We all gathered for breakfasts and suppers, went to church together, and even cried together when our father died. He was only forty-two years of age. He died of a heart attack. I was the one who found him hunched over in his lazy boy, motionless and alone. It took years for the bad feelings to go away. I guess that is why I am such a fanatic about exercising and trying to eat healthy. After our dad died we all had to help mom more. There was no life insurance and the company he worked for didn’t offer our family any compensation. It was like he didn’t even exist, like we were nothing, but we survived. Mom always said good things would come to us if we worked hard. Well, we did. We all did.
My wife showed me the Visa bill last week. It was higher than normal. I had to spend money on my nieces’ clothes for school, as I told her. Well, my wife has had enough. She can’t even speak to me right now and I am exhausted trying to fill out government forms to get my nieces and nephews money or assistance. There doesn’t seem to be any, or if there is, it is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain. I have to wonder if the days become longer or if I am just bored. I know that today is the day I see my children, all three of them. I haven’t seen them in over a week, since moving in with my friend Jack and his wife; they have been more than understanding. They tell me I can pay them once I see the money from my family, my family of nieces and nephews. My children are upset with me, I can tell. They complain that they don’t have the same toys and extra activities that they used to. I guess they are right. I can’t afford it. I can’t splurge on them. Maybe I made some bad choices. Maybe I am not able to make the right choices for my kids. I haven’t come to any conclusions. But, today I sit by the lake and watch my surroundings. My children are laughing and teasing one another as they run about. They managed to pack a picnic of peanut butter sandwiches and pickles, on the side, and water from the tap, my youngest told me. Somehow they remind me of when I was a kid, happy and feeling loved. Maybe this is not such a bad thing?
We all went to college and some of us to university; one of my brothers obtained his Masters as well. We had done it all, all that we thought we were supposed to do. But, there was a big but, our mother died. She died young as well. Some said she died because she worked too hard; worked too hard raising us.

the miraculous neem (azadirachta indica) By Klaus Ferlow, HMH In India the Neem Tree is a cornerstone of Ayurveda, one of the world's oldest medical systems, and has been used continuously for nearly 5000 years. It is also called the "Village Pharmacy' and Neem was known as sarva roga nivarin or "healer of all ailments". This legendary medicinal tree has grown with the human settlement all over the country as part of Ayurveda medicine and has been an integral part of the Indian way of life. It is inextricably linked to the history of the Indian civilization. The word Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit word ayus = life and veda = science. Ayurveda translated means "the science of Life." At the young age of seventeen, after finishing school, I had to move away from home and from my family in a small village to start apprenticeship in sales, marketing and promotion in a big city situated in a heavy industrial area with huge steel mills, mining corporations, etc. Due to the stress of the completely different diet and lifestyle in a new environment of widespread pollution and high level of noise, I soon developed severe PSORIASIS on my scalp and elbows. At times it would flare up to the point where I even had difficulties combing my hair due to the very thick build-up on my scalp. I received ongoing treatments from allopathic doctors in Germany and in Canada (from 1975) who did not have a clue as to what the cause of the problem was. All of these expensive treatments were totally unsuccessful! After over 40 years, I finally gave up and was told by the doctors that I had to live with it for the rest of my life! Then, in early 1994, I had the good fortune of tuning into the CBC television series "The Nature of Things" with Dr. David Suzuki, which featured a program describing the miraculous healing power of the Neem tree from India even for chronic skin diseases. This was the impetus to my healing and I began, with the help of a professional chemist, to develop a Neem tree cream without harsh chemicals, organic toxin-free, using Neem tree extract from the leaves of the tree, with a variety of other herbal extracts. Since no distributor in North America could supply me the Neem tree extract, I found it in France. When the formula of the Neem tree cream was completed, my wife massaged the cream for almost nine weeks onto my scalp and, finally, by the tenth week my scalp was totally clear of the skin conditions from which I had suffered for so long! Later, I also added to the formula cold pressed Neem tree oil derived from the kernels of the fruit that looks like an olive. This further enhanced the healing properties and efficacy of the cream. Even the psoriasis on both of my elbows disappeared within merely three weeks after using the Neem tree oil and now I use only one drop of oil weekly to prevent recurring of the psoriasis. I accepted these results as a miracle and it launched my passion for Ayurvedic Neem tree herbal products. The Violet Flame And Heaven By Jean sinclair
What is heaven? In Leo Tolstoy’s book, Anna Karenina, Anna’s young son did not know any of the patriarchs in the Old Testament of the Bible who came before the flood except for Enoch “who was taken up to heaven alive”. He had been told that everyone died, “But Enoch had not died, so not everybody died.” He thought, “But why shouldn’t everyone deserve the same in God’s sight and be taken alive to heaven?” The good news is that it is possible to be taken alive to heaven. Death is not real. Heaven may be described as a state of consciousness, and also as a rate of vibratory light. Our bodies are bodies of light and our thoughts and feelings are things that may be termed as vibrations. All of life is vibrations of sound and light rays that may or may not be heard or seen on our physical level of being. These light rays are seen in our auras, radiating out from our chakras, our energy foci in the body. The light from our I AM Presence of God above our heads comes down via the crystal cord which enters the top of the head and into the heart. From there the light radiates to the chakras that glow with the various colours seen in the aura. The threefold flame in the heart of pink (love), yellow (wisdom) and blue (power and the Divine Will) spins when the energy flow of the heart chakra is activated. The threefold flame may be seen as plumes that need Page 16
to be of the same height in order for the spinning action to occur. A person may have a lot of love but have less wisdom, or a lot of power and not enough love. In order to balance the threefold flame one needs to transmute negative karma. When the threefold flame has been balanced and the plumes are of equal height, and the karma of the ages has been cleared by the violet flame, the body becomes light and buoyant. The vibrations of the body become finer and vibrate at a higher speed until they vibrate at the speed of light. Then the body becomes all light and ascends to higher octaves of Spirit. This is how the Ascended Masters had ascended in their last physical embodiment on earth. The ascension of Jesus Christ was recorded but also the ascension of Enoch who “walked with God and was not” (went to heaven alive), and Elijah who was seen to rise up in a “chariot of fire”, his flaming Presence of God. Many others, known and unknown, have made their ascension in the Light, but before the time known as the “fall of man”, there were those on the earth who had not made negative karma. They walked the earth in their Light bodies, as Enoch did, and ascended at the end of their allotted time on the earth. The highest vibrating colour we perceive, the violet colour, is called the violet transmuting flame, for it acts to dissolve, or wash clean, the accumulated darkness of misqualified energy from all embodiments, which may be described as a tar-like substance between the atoms of the human body. The efficacious way to balance the threefold flame and transmute karma is to say violet flame decrees and mantras that have been given by the Ascended Masters to their appointed messengers. One can begin by repeating, “I AM a being of violet fire! I AM the purity God desires!” while visualizing the body in flames of violet light. We can do this when we are aware of negative thoughts and feelings, to let them go and feel the lightness of the violet flames. self of steam By Marlene Buffa A steam engine is a device that converts the potential energy that exists as pressure in steam, and converts that to mechanical force. - About.com While watching the scrolling banner at the bottom of a major network newscast, I saw an intriguing misspelling. The brief synopsis discussed hurt feelings and damage to one’s “self of steam.” So often we laugh at mistakes such as this, when the real lesson lies in looking deeper into the content. Self-of-steam is closely related to self-esteem when considering that that which propels us forward in life emanates from within and we provide both the mechanism and the energy to pursue our greatness as well as our foundation. Hydration of Spirit To create steam, a water source is required. In our lives, our spirit acts as a body of water – refreshing and replenishing us. Our spirit, like water, requires constant attention and makes up most of who we are. Without a sense of spirit, the life force within us suffers, much as our human body wanes without sufficient hydration. Since the earth is comprised mostly of water, the physical source remains abundant. Our invisible universe also consists of plentiful consciousness, or spirit. Remembering to connect with the spirit within – and the endless supply of good that nourishes us merely by acknowledging through gratitude and growth - we fill our tank of possibilities with the fuel of spirit. enough temperature to transform from its liquid state to a gaseous state. Similarly, to make “self-of-steam”, we must heat our spirit with the passion of living. Stoking the furnace of our desires and goals, we keep a constant flow of our spiritual fuel in the pipeline for our greater good. When we energize our spirit enough to propel actions and hence, dreams, we move forward in momentum toward our goals. The Movement While moving forward stands as the optimal direction of spiritual movement, as we mature spiritually, we learn that the power of choice offers insight and growth as well. The mechanical force of steam powers a steam engine to move – it doesn’t dictate direction – it simply provides the energy for the conductor to move. Our spiritual steam also gives us the life force we require to move from a standstill toward our highest and best potential, but in and of itself, does not guarantee forward momentum. As individuals, using clearly defined passion and an understanding of self and relation to the Creator and the world around us, we use our free will to determine the speed and direction of our movement towards what we truly desire. Self-of-steam, much like self-esteem, derives its power from that inner connection we cherish when we believe and know our true worth and role in life. Just as no one can bestow upon you a sense of self, neither can anyone outside of you offer you a bundle of spiritual energy or synergy with which to impel you toward your highest potential. It also stands to reason that no one can arbitrarily remove or reduce your sense of worth either! You get to decide what you want in life. Loving the self and your aspirations provides you with an untouchable and unquenchable source of energy for positive movement. Decide on the source for your steam, how much energy you require and the direction you want to go. It’s all there inside of you – cooking up a wonderful life! mantra for Positive changes! By Joette Lees A mantra is a positive group of words that many people considered able to create transformation. Mantras are a powerful method to work with spiritual energies toward personal life changes, global and universal shifts. These intentions may include; abundance, further opening to spiritual awareness, inner peace, manifestation, even forgiveness of self and others or boundaries for personal and global protection. A mantra may bring new thought perspectives. The repetition of a mantra came from the ancient Hindu empire and the concept is similar to a prayer. The method followed is a repetition of charged spiritual words combined with a set intention from an individual or group of people. The repetition of the assemblage of words can be a certain interval; repeating the mantra 8 times, repeating it in the morning and/or evening, several times during a day, or specific days of a week. Begin by setting your intention. Open your awareness to the spiritual leader(s) you are comfortable with; God, Divine, universe, a saint, angels, goddesses or devas. Keep the words to your Mantra in statements or poetry. Simple examples include: ‘I create a wonderful day’ or ‘I give gratitude for _____’. Repeating a mantra before rising from your bed after sleep, in the transitionary moments toward awakened unity with your self, sets the intention of your waking hours. During the day sit in a relaxed position. Repeat a mantra in rhythm with your breath. With a flowing freedom you should feel a lighter, empowering, unreserved energy fill your being on all levels. You may also feel determination within you. If your attention wanders gently refocus by

bringing your thought back to the mantra. Over time, your focus will increase with ease. Increasing awareness in your life will shift the intention, thus the words of your mantra, with your life purpose. Many people practice mantras of intention with name of the divinity whose energy symbolizes a synchronicity with their intention. Tibetan Buddhists believe that repeating a mantra conveys spiritual teachings within the divinity. With more repetitions, more power is held in the person repeating the mantra and the greater the connection to the Divine. Shifting perspectives with positive transformation through mantra practices and expressed gratitude is a wonderful journey to increase your awareness. You should also become conscious of results connected to your intention! In closing I would like to share the following Sufi Teaching. agaPe orPhanage foundation dianne had a dream Submitted By Dianne Block Good Morning World! Thank you God of the Universe for making Dianne Block. As a young child, starting at age seven, I dreamed every night for three years about picking up unwanted children from the ditch. I would tell my mom and she would say, “It was a dream, Honey. Nobody throws children away.” Well, back in the 50s and 60s nobody knew that they did. One night I was having the same dream when I found a briefcase full of money so I knew I would be able to look after these children and the dream stopped. I grew up, married, divorced, had 4 beautiful children – 3 boys and a girl. In 1989 I was in a terrible car accident and had a “near death experience”. During that, I walked and talked with God and chose life – to come back and try again. In 1999 my baby girl and my last child, married, leaving me with empty nest syndrome. On a Tuesday night I prayed and cried wondering what I should do with the rest of my life. I was unable to work due to brain injury from the car accident and my children had been my hobby so I asked God, “What now?” In an audible voice I took to be God's, he asked, “What has been the best part of your life?” I talked back telling him it was my children. Then in my mind's eye I saw World Vision movie stars helping children in Africa in the poorest countries of the world and knew that these children would love me and need me. On Wednesday I went to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Alpha Supper. I learned the Youth Group was going to Africa and asked, and they granted me permission, to go along. I bought my first of many tickets on my Master card. I worked at an orphanage in Malawi and while there I met an abandoned baby about 1 ½ years old sitting in a ditch. With this child I started my own orphanage. 50 years after the fact God made true the dream I had as a child. After 9 ½ years I am on my third house in Malawi, each one larger than the last to accommodate more children and still have some of the children from the beginning. Dixon was 6 or 7 when he was found naked, bleeding, raped and screaming in the street 500 miles from his home. The police thought he was bewitched and put him in jail. The Catholic nuns brought him to me and he is now finishing high school. September 2009
Newborn – the family of this child walked 17 miles to find me after the newborn's mother died in childbirth. She had not been nursed or had so much as a sip of water. She now has a loving home in Canada. HIV AIDS – children are dropped off to me with full blown Aids, TB, malaria but so far we have had only one death this year. Ralph was 8 years old and weighed 8 pounds. He looked like Humpty Dumpty. His life was short but as I held him I asked if he loved me. He looked into my eyes and said, “Well, Dianne, I was hoping for a white woman with a car.” He then sighed and passed away. Robin at 1 year old weighed 4 pounds and was abandoned in a hospital where she was neglected. She was HIV positive and had TB but she is now 4 years old and thriving despite her illnesses. There have been mostly hard times but I choose not to dwell on those. Some of them are too painful to remember or talk about. I consistently surprise myself at what a strong woman I have turned out to be but with God all things are possible. One day I was walking the four corners of our yard with several of the children praying for safety when all of a sudden I felt like I was really home – where I belong. With the donations from wonderful, caring people and my own money I look after up to 50 children with a staff of 14. The house has running (cold) water and electricity when it works and we use candlelight at night. During this economic downturn a bag of rice has gone from $40 to $95 a bag. It takes 3 to 4 thousand dollars a month to run the orphanage. But here I am – a woman past middle age with a brain injury, limited education and resources and I feel chosen to do God's work as if God is telling me I am one of His people like the Fisherman or Mary Magdalene. My dream continues. I dream of having a farm, run by the orphans themselves, being self-sufficient with no welfare mentality and an attitude of empowerment so they can carry on the work when I am gone. Dear Sharyn, I have been in a long distance relationship for 2 1/2 years. We usually see each other every 2nd weekend. He wants me to move from my home that I have lived in, renovated myself, and raised my children in for the past 23 years. I paid for this house myself and only have one year left to pay. At first it was that I could sell my house and the money go into an account for my retirement. Fine. My fear was that if I did this and then our relationship did not work out, then I am stuck buying another house and making payments because whatever I would make off my house would not be enough to buy another house outright. Then it was that I could rent my house out and if didn't work out I still would have my house. Either way, all my furniture and belongings would go into storage because he lives in an older trailer and does not have the room for them. I feel like I'm giving up all of me and he has to give up nothing and I have brought this point up to him numerous times but he doesn't seem to understand where I am coming from. He thinks that if I love him that all of this shouldn't matter. I feel that it's not fair that I have to give up my home (regardless whether I sell it or rent it), I am no longer near my boys (I will be 3 hours away), I have to give up my cat because he has 2 cats and a dog and my cat doesn't like any competition what so ever. And he doesn't have to give up anything. For the past 6 months, he has made excuses to not come down to my place on his weekends. He's been at my place once in the last 6 months but I'm always more than welcome to come up there. I started to resent it because I was doing all the driving, I was paying all the gas and he had to do nothing. He always cooked for me, and paid for things if we went out where as before I always tried to pay for some stuff to make it like a 50/50 relationship. He would phone me every day and tell me he loved me. Anyways about 4 weeks ago I was up at his place and his cell phone rang and he went into the kitchen to answer it and he looked at it, hit some button and said to me that it was some telemarketer. Which is fine but I just got this feeling. Later that week I was playing on my computer and I don't know why but I went on these dating web sites and went searching for him. I found him on a couple and I was shocked. I was hurt. And it felt like my heart had been ripped out. I asked why he was on these different web sites looking for women and he said he wasn't looking for anyone else. He would never admit to be that he was on these sites. I joined one under a false name and started talking to him, and he gave me his email address and we talked through there. Me trying to pick him up just for sex Page 24
and he gave me his work cell number and his home address. (Mean while he had closed his accounts on the dating web sites) As soon as he gave me his cell number and home address I quit talking to him. I mailed him back his house key. And sent him an email saying that I just couldn’t believe that he would do this crap, hurt me the way he did and then lie about it. I gave him a chance to come clean and be honest about everything but he said he was clean. He still doesn't know it was me that was talking to him via the web site. This past week was really hard on me and I was on the verge of tears all the time. He had sent me an email telling me that he had received his key and he said, "if only you hadda moved here". Friday night I phoned him and asked him if all of this was my entire fault because I had not moved up there. Is that why he was looking for someone else? He said he wasn't really looking for someone else, it was just a game to him, and that he loved me. I asked him if he had given his phone number out or house address and he said no. I said it would be best if he thought it over just for a few minutes longer and then he said he wasn't really sure. He didn't remember doing it. I said I knew for a fact that he had. He just said oh. He never asked how I knew or anything. So now he talks like nothing has happened. I do love him, but I feel so betrayed and so hurt. He swears that he has not slept with any one else since he's been going out with me, and for some strange reason I do believe him on that part. But he lied to me for one and now I'm not sure how many lies he's actually told to me. I'm questioning everything when I think about different things. Like did he really mean that when he said that or did he lie about that as well, etc. He wanted me to go up and see him yesterday and we would talk about everything but I had other plans which was good because I don't know how I can trust him again. I don't know if we can work this out. I don't know if I will ever get over this hurt. If I can do all this stuff and we get back to where we were, how do we make this a relationship which I feel would be more fair to me. I would need him to make me an offer I couldn't refuse but I don't know what that would be. Please can you help me? relationships that have a completely different element of communication and commitment than those where people meet face to face. Intuition assists us when we feel at risk and vulnerable, and your email suggests that your risk level is very high. It also suggests you are quite lonely and will do whatever you have to try and salvage a relationship with someone who has already proven to be unreliable and uncommitted to you. For you to alter your life just to accommodate his needs, and in the process ignore your own needs would be impractical. Your responsibility is not to see to his happiness but to see to your own happiness. So, lets see if I have this right. First you must give up the home you cherish that is not an economic burden and almost paid off. Second, you must give up your beloved feline companion due to incompatibility with his pets. Third, you would be farther away from your sons whom you now have close access to. And fourth, and most importantly, you would lock yourself into a relationship where you already feel hurt, unstable and vulnerable to his whims. My suggestion to you is stay where you are, keep the cat, be close to your sons and their families and let this relationship go. It is not this man’s responsibility to make you happy either, and it certainly doesn’t sound like it is his intention to do so. I cannot speak for another person’s motives, but you sound like your Intuition has been speaking to you about where the danger signs are – perhaps you need to listen closely. There are lessons here for you – learning about the need to be in charge of your own life and happiness being just one of them. Remember, these are just suggestions, you can be one of the ones who doesn’t come though this type of relationship on the losing end, but rather as a more educated and wiser winner.
