PROPÓSITO ETERNO ETERNAL PURPOSE

Quase 40 anos atrás eu fui a uma conferência onde uma missionária pregava em lágrimas: “Eis que os campos estão brancos para a ceifa, mas onde estão os ceifeiros?”. O impacto daquela palavra foi tão bombástico que os jovens ali presentes foram à frente aos soluços, inclusive eu, que tinha uns 14 anos de idade, e eu sabia que tinha sido marcado definitivamente por Deus.

Só eu era crente na minha família inteira, minha igreja só tinha culto aos domingos à noite e terminava muito tarde. Eu morava longe e, às vezes, dormia no ônibus, parando no ponto final. Em um desses dias, num final de domingo escuro, tarde da noite, eu ouvi a canção:

Almost 40 years ago, I went to a conference where a missionary preached in tears: “Behold, the fields are ready for the harvest, but where are the reapers?” The impact of that message was so powerful that the young people who were there came to the front crying, including me. I was about 14 years old and I knew that I had been definitively marked by God. I was the only believer in my entire family. My church only held services on Sunday nights and they ended very late. I lived far away and sometimes I would sleep on the bus, missing my bus stop. On one of those days, at the end of a dark Sunday, late at night, I heard the song:

As lágrimas desciam no meu rosto e eu senti o oceano!

Muitos anos se passaram, e em dezembro de 1994 eu estava em Santarém, no Pará, depois de uma conferência, sendo enviado para Portugal quando o presidente da Missão Paz pôs a mão na minha cabeça, na minha família e disse: “Senhor, o Senhor está levando o Marcelo por caudalosas ondas do mar.”, na hora o Espírito Santo me levou lá atrás e aquela mesma percepção profética de que eu estava vivendo um momento de virada na minha vida, estava acontecendo ali. Os velhos propósitos e as velhas promessas estavam se cumprindo, palpavelmente, a partir daquele instante.

Deus te chamou muito antes da sua concepção, Ele estabeleceu a sua vida por conta de um propósito eterno. Este é o tempo do alinhamento de condições para que o propósito pleno que foi estabelecido sobre a sua vida se manifeste e se torne palpável.

The tears came down on my face and I felt the ocean!

After many years passed, in December 1994, I was in Santarém, Pará.

After a conference I was sent to Portugal, where the Peace Mission president put his hand on my head and on my family and said, “Lord, the Lord is taking Marcelo through mighty waves of the sea”. That exact hour the Holy Spirit led me back there and I had the same prophetic realization that I was living in a turning point of my life. It was clear that from that moment on, the old purposes and promises began to come into fulfillment.

God called you long before your conception and He established your life for an eternal purpose. This is the time for the alignment of conditions, so that the full purpose that has been established in your life will manifest itself and become evident.

SOBRE NÓS ABOUT US

Muitos perguntam quem nós somos e onde queremos chegar.

Talvez a melhor definição seja que somos plantadores de igrejas.

Nosso objetivo é plantar ou cooperar na plantação de, pelo menos, uma igreja em cada nação do mundo. Não descansaremos até que as fronteiras e barreiras sejam quebradas e a mensagem da graça seja conhecida.

There are many that ask who we are and where we want to go. Perhaps the best definition is: we are church planters. Our goal is to plant or cooperate in the planting of at least one church in every nation throughout the world. We will not rest until the boundaries and barriers are broken so that the message of grace will be known across the world.

Nosso trabalho começou no Brasil, como igreja Videira. Fomos pioneiros na prática das células como estrutura de Igreja e estamos envolvidos nessa visão desde 1984. Experimentamos um resultado maravilhoso em qualidade, treinamento de líderes e crescimento numérico.

As the Vine Church, our work began in Brazil. We were pioneers in the practice of cell groups as our church structure and we have kept with this vision since 1984. We have experienced wonderful results in aspects such as quality, leadership training, and numerical growth.

Pela bondade do Senhor, temos deixado um rastro de igrejas plantadas que crescem e são prevalecentes. A experiência tem se repetido em muitas cidades do Brasil como Goiânia, onde em dez anos, milhares de pessoas foram alcançadas para Cristo com uma experiência genuína de novo nascimento, inclusive crianças.

Cruzamos a fronteira dos 30 mil membros. Em São Paulo, já somamos mais de 25 mil discípulos e ao redor do mundo já alcançamos 100 mil membros em mais de 1.000 igrejas.

By the goodness of the Lord, we have been able to leave a trail of prevalent churches that we planted, all of which are constantly growing. This experience has occurred frequently in many Brazilian cities like Goiania. Within ten years, thousands of people were reached for Christ, with a genuine experience of the new birth, including children as well. We have crossed the 30,000-member border. In São Paulo, we already raised more than 25,000 disciples and around the world we have already reached 100,000 members, in more than 1,000 churches.

Com o passar dos anos, muitos ministérios se uniram a nós para aprender e trabalhar na edificação da obra de Cristo, através da estrutura das células e sobre a direção de que cada crente é um ministro. Assim surgiu a Vinha Ministérios Associados. Com essa expansão, a Vinha foi multiplicada em 2 braços. A Vinha Brasil, supervisionada pelo Pastor Aluízio Silva e a Vine International, supervisionada pelo Pastor Marcelo Almeida.

Over the course of these years many ministries have joined us, willing to learn and to work in building the church of Christ through the structure of cell groups, along with the vision that every member is a minister. Thus, Vine Associated Ministries began to arise. With this expansion, Vine multiplied into two branches. Vinha Brasil, supervised

by Pastor Aluízio Silva and Vine International, overseen by Pastor Marcelo Almeida.

Hoje, somos muitas igrejas em mais de 30 nações, com membros conectados, capacitados e desafiados a exercer o papel de cristãos, sem a necessidade de títulos ou clericalismo. Todas as obras pioneiras iniciam através das células, onde os próprios cristãos são os sacerdotes. Todavia, somos estruturados para uma melhor organização.

Today, we are many churches in more than over 30 nations. Members are connected, trained, and challenged to live their true roles as Christians, without the need for titles or clericalism. All the pioneer works begin through the cell groups, where the Christians themselves are the priests. However, we are structured for a better organization.

A família de igrejas tem crescido a cada dia. A formação de novos discípulos só tem ampliado o trabalho realizado nos continentes da América do Sul, América do Norte, Europa, África e estamos em um momento crucial da obra, rompendo as barreiras do continente Asiático e no Oriente Médio.

Somos uma equipe que trabalha para o cumprimento do propósito eterno de Deus. Nossa convicção é que fazemos parte do maior movimento de plantação de igrejas ao redor do mundo e que leva a mensagem da graça a todas as pessoas do planeta terra.

This family of churches has grown every day. The formation of new disciples has only expanded the work carried out in the continents of South America, North America, Europe, Africa and we are at a crucial moment in this work, breaking the barriers of the Asian continent as well as in the Middle East.

We are a team that works for the fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose.

It is our conviction that we are part of the largest church planting movement around the world, carrying the message of grace to all the people on planet earth.

2017 foi o ano em que decisivamente avançamos África adentro nos países de fala inglesa, enviando equipes para o Quênia, Uganda e Tanzânia. Foi também o ano em que, finalmente, entramos com força na Índia e, ali, abrimos uma Escola de Obras Pioneiras em Hyderabad com vinte e dois alunos. Todos os jovens que fazem parte das equipes enviadas são provenientes dessas nações e foram treinados no Zâmbia.

2017 was the year when we decisively moved forward into the English-speaking countries in Africa. We sent teams to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. It was also the year that we finally entered into India and there we opened a School of Pioneer Works in Hyderabad with twenty-two students. All the young people who are part of these teams are from these nations and they have been trained in Zambia.

Tantas outras coisas maravilhosas aconteceram em 2017, na América Latina, Europa e nos Estados Unidos. Nesse último país chegamos na “Big Apple”, Nova Iorque, através de um trabalho extremamente desafiador.

So many other wonderful things happened in Latin America, Europe, and the United States in 2017. We arrived at the “Big Apple”, New York - USA, through an extremely challenging work.

Nosso coração se enche de júbilo por aquilo que o Senhor tem feito nessas nações. Alegre-se conosco e seja também um instrumento de Deus para esta geração.

Our hearts are filled with joy for what the Lord has done in these nations. Rejoice with us and be an instrument of God for this generation.

Deus nos chamou para sermos edificados como Igreja, como o corpo de Cristo e nós temos experimentado da magnífica bondade de sermos usados como pedras vivas. Cada um de nós é parte fundamental deste edifício e, como ministros do Senhor, isso exige constantemente de nós uma vida de dependência de Cristo, uma vida cuja vitória e santidade só é possível em Sua força, no Seu poder, e é por isso que somos mais do que vencedores em Cristo.

Ele, que nos levou da escuridão para a admirável luz, para anunciar suas virtudes. Só temos que acreditar e confiar nEle. Não se esqueça, estamos caminhando sobre as águas, não podemos olhar as grandes ondas e o vento da adversidade, devemos manter nossos olhos no autor e consumador da fé, nosso salvador, nossa estrela da manhã, nosso sol do meio dia, aquele que é a nossa Justiça.

God has called us to be edified as a Church, as the body of Christ, and we have experienced the magnificent goodness of being used by Him as living stones. Each one of us is an important part of this building, and as ministers of the Lord, this will constantly demand from us a life dependent on Christ, a life of victory and sanctity through His strength, and His power. That is the reason why we are more than overcomes in Christ.

He, who led us from darkness into the marvelous light, called us to proclaim His virtues. We just have to believe and trust Him. Do not forget, we are walking on waters. We cannot look at the great waves and the wind of adversity, we must keep our eyes on the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Savior, our morning star, our midday sun, the One who is our justice.

O Senhor Jesus, o glorioso, tem se manifestado no mundo. Ele tem se manifestado nas nações de forma sobrenatural e extraordinária. Nesses últimos dias da volta do Senhor, Ele se manifestará cada vez mais ao seu povo. Eu creio que nessa manifestação do glorioso, Ele vai abrir portas extraordinárias.

Essas portas se manifestarão na revelação intensificada do evangelho, no crescimento no qual famílias de ricos e pobres, de grandes e pequenos, virão e acharão na Igreja o socorro e a segurança num tempo de medo e instabilidade, inclusive acharão fé e provisão. As portas se manifestarão também com a restituição para o povo de Deus, prosperaremos de maneira sobrenatural. Deus dará empreendimentos, negociações e restituições. Será como um jubileu de Deus na vida das famílias do povo de Deus no Brasil e nas nações. No lugar da vergonha, Ele dará dupla honra, na casa de cada um daqueles que está debaixo do Espírito da Graça e movido por um espírito de fé.

The Lord Jesus, the Glorious, has manifested Himself in the world. He has manifested in the nations in a supernatural and extraordinary way. In these last days of the Lord’s return, He will manifest Himself more and more to His people. I believe that in this manifestation of the Glorious, He will open extraordinary doors.

These doors will be manifested in the heightened revelation of the gospel, in the growth in which rich and poor families, great and small, will come and find in the Church: relief and safety, faith and provision, in a time of fear and instability. The doors will also be manifested with the restitution to the people of God. We will prosper in a supernatural way. God will give projects, business, and restitutions. It will be as the jubilee of God in the lives of the families of God’s people in Brazil and in the nations.

In the place of shame, He will give double honor, in the house of each one of those who are under the Spirit of Grace and who are moved by a spirit of faith.

Em uma manhã o pastor Marcelo chegou em nossa casa com um saco de papel de pão e nós nunca imaginávamos o que havia dentro: estava cheio de dólares! Ele havia ganhado uma generosa oferta e Deus o instruiu a trazer metade do valor para nós.

Como viemos ao Peru e o Pr. Marcelo foi para Portugal, durante vários anos, perdemos o contato. Depois de quase 20 anos, recomeçamos a nossa história com a Videira e em 2013, nos unimos a Vinha, sendo hoje 11 igrejas Cielos Abiertos. Neste ano, começamos a plantar a visão de “...Cada membro um ministro e cada casa uma extensão da igreja...”, plantando as células de adultos, jovens, adolescentes e crianças.

Estamos provando um novo mover espiritual na igreja e em nossas vidas.

Passaram quase 30 anos desde que conhecemos o Pr. Marcelo e o Pr. Aluízio e, hoje, vemos que tudo o que Deus tem dirigido estava escrito e que os Seus planos são perfeitos e se cumprem.

A Igreja Videira chegou definitivamente em África há seis anos. Capitaneados pelo Pr. Marcelo Almeida, uma equipe de irmãos vindos de diferentes lugares do Brasil deu início a um grande mover do Espírito Santo a partir da cidade da Beira, em Moçambique. Inauguramos a primeira Escola de Obras Pioneiras Africana com mais de 100 alunos, em sua maioria, moçambicanos. Daí por diante não pararam mais de florescer os ramos.

Somos, hoje, 19 Igrejas e mais de 10.000 membros entre adultos, jovens e crianças em seis países. Sem dúvida alguma, todo esse crescimento é uma expressão palpável do favor de Deus. Apesar de muitas dificuldades que encontramos em todos os aspectos, temos difundido a visão de cada crente ser um sacerdote de maneira muito exitosa. Digo isso porque a maioria dos líderes em nossas Igrejas é africana, e esses irmãos romperam com paradigmas arraigados em suas mentes que os impedia de serem líderes, além da pressão da família e das tradições que são milenares, tudo isso por conta da revelação de que nasceram para um propósito.

Nossa alegria e nosso privilégio não cabem neste texto, por isso, assim que possível, venha nos visitar e ver com seus próprios olhos o que Deus tem feito no meio desta bendita África, de um povo hospitaleiro, cativante e que conquistou meu coração.

One morning o pastor Marcelo came to our house with a paper bag and we never imagined what was inside: it was a bag full of dollars! He had received a generous offering and God told him to bring half of the amount to us.

When Pastor Marcelo went to Portugal and we came to Peru, we lost contact for several years.

After almost 20 years, we started our history with the Vine and in 2013, we joined the Vine International, being today11 Cielos Abiertos churches. This year we began to plant the vision that “... Each member is a minister and each house an extension of the church...”, planting the cell groups of adults, young people, teenagers, and children.

We are experiencing a new spiritual move in the church and in our lives.

It has been almost 30 years since we met Pastor Marcelo and Pastor Aluizio. Today we can see that everything God has been guiding us to go through was already written. His plans are perfect and they will be fulfilled.

Vine Church has definitely arrived in Africa for six years. Led by Pastor Marcelo Almeida, a team of brethren from different places in Brazil started a great move of the Holy Spirit in the city of Beira, Mozambique. We opened the first African School of Pioneer Works with more than 100 students, mostly Mozambicans. From then on they have not stopped growing.

Today we are 19 churches, in six different countries, and have more than 10,000 members among the adults, young people, and children. Undoubtedly, this growth is a visible expression of God’s favor. Despite the many difficulties we face, we have successfully spread the vision that every member is a minister. I can say this because most leaders in our churches are African. They broke the paradigms rooted in their minds that kept them from being leaders, they overcame the pressures of their families, and the millennial traditions because they received revelation that they were born for a purpose.

Our joy and our privilege does not fit inside this text, so, as soon as possible, come and see with your own eyes what God has done in this blessed country, with a hospitable and captivating people that has conquered my heart. .Pr. Washington Andrade

Mudei-me para a Flórida juntamente com minha esposa, com muitas expectativas e sonhos com esta obra. Entendendo o foco ministerial, o pastor Marcelo confiou esse trabalho pioneiro ao meu pastoreio. Desde então, experimentamos estratégias e aplicamos nossa visão de cada crente um sacerdote. A obra cresceu e daquele grupo, além da igreja brasileira, começamos a alcançar os primeiros frutos americanos, resultado do grande crescimento da rede de jovens.

Posso citar, dentre tantas estratégias feitas, o seminário interno com bolsa para alunos de várias localidades, principalmente missionários vindos do Brasil.

Ao longo destes anos a Igreja local multiplicou e começamos várias igrejas em outras cidades e estados americanos. Muitos trabalhos foram plantados e dezenas de líderes e pastores foram enviados. Hoje, para a glória de Deus, a Rede de Igrejas da Vinha na América do Norte – Vine Church, em inglês – somam 30 igrejas locais – 29 nos Estados Unidos e 1 no Canadá. Destas, 6 igrejas locais são completamente em língua inglesa, visando ganhar americanos. Sinto-me vivendo um momento histórico neste país.

O Senhor está dando a Europa em suas mãos, e o Senhor vai colocar junto de você muitos dos Seus filhos preciosos, Ele os está treinando desde agora. O que você está fazendo com essas pessoas é muito mais importante do que elas têm percebido, porque algumas delas eram como flechas que estavam para ser lançadas, mas estavam desviadas. Muitas dessas pessoas eram como flechas que não tinham valor ou não funcionavam, mas o Senhor vai usar você para consertá-las. Então, Deus vai falar com você e vai te mostrar essas pessoas estratégicas. O Senhor vai falar para você: pegue essas pessoas e as atire na Europa. Quando o Senhor fizer isso elas vão acertar o alvo e muitas delas vão produzir romperes de Deus em áreas muito densas de trevas.

O Senhor está dando isso em suas mãos e o Senhor vai te dar a sabedoria, a força, a provisão financeira e todas as pessoas necessárias para produzir esse propósito. Porque o que Deus tem colocado em seu coração pela Europa não foi uma ideia de pessoas, foi uma ideia de Deus, pois você sentiu a dor e a compaixão de Deus por esse continente e esse clamor vai aumentar mais, vai se tornar mais forte e esse é o clamor do coração de Deus. O Senhor está confiando a você essa responsabilidade e grande será a recompensa no céu.

The Lord is giving Europe into your hands, and the Lord will place with you many of His precious children. He is already training them. What you are doing to these people is far more important than they have realized, because some of them were like arrows that were about to be thrown, but they were diverted. Many of these people were like arrows that were worthless or did not work, but the Lord will use you to fix them. So God will talk to you and show you these strategic people.

The Lord will say to you: take these people and throw them to Europe. When the Lord does this they will hit the target and many of them will bring the move of God in very dense areas of darkness. The Lord is giving it into your hands and the Lord will give you wisdom, strength, financial provision, and all the people you need to fulfill this purpose. What God has put in your heart for Europe was not an idea that came from people, it was an idea from ​​God. You felt the pain and compassion of God for this continent and this cry will increase more, it will become stronger and this is the cry of the heart of God. The Lord is entrusting you with this responsibility and great will be the reward in heaven.

I moved to Florida along with my wife, with many expectations and dreams about this work. Understanding the ministerial focus, Pastor Marcelo entrusted this pioneer work to me as a pastor. Since then, we have tried many strategies and applied our vision that every member is a minister. The church grew and out of that cell group we now have a Brazilian church. As result of the great growth from the youth network we began to reach the first American fruits. Among many of the strategies we used, one of them was the fulltime seminary. We offered scholarships for students from different locations, mainly missionaries from Brazil.

Throughout these years the local Church has multiplied and new churches have been planted in other cities and states. Many churches were planted and dozens of leaders and pastors were sent. Today, for the glory of God, the Vine Church in North America has 30 local churches - 29 in the United States and 1 in Canada. Six of these churches are completely English speaking, aiming to win Americans. I am living a historic moment in this country.

ZÂMBIA, CENTRO DE TREINAMENTO PARA AS NAÇÕES ZAMBIA, TRAINING CENTER FOR THE NATIONS Por Ana Carolina Ferreira

A Escola de Obras Pioneiras no Zâmbia tem sido o centro de treinamento na língua inglesa, para alunos de diversas nacionalidades que, após treinados, retornam para seus países com o objetivo de plantar igrejas.

Marco Aurélio Santana, atualmente pastor em Lusaka-Zâmbia juntamente com a sua família, a pastora Valquiria Santana e suas duas filhas, Camilla e Millena, tem vivido em meio a esse mover.

School of Pioneer Works in Zambia has served as the English training center for students from different nationalities. After their training, students return home to their countries with the purpose to plant churches.

Marco Aurelio Santana is the pastor today in Lusaka-Zambia, along with his wife Pastor Valquiria Santana and their two daughters, Camilla and Millena. Together they are living at the center of God’s move.

CHAMADO Posso dizer que o chamado para as nações veio, verdadeiramente, da vontade absoluta do Senhor. Após viver quinze anos nos Estados Unidos e ali ter duas filhas e plantar uma linda igreja, as portas se fecharam sendo negado meu visto de permanência. Quando isso aconteceu, nos mudamos para o Brasil e fomos para Goiânia aprender mais sobre a Visão e estrutura. Estávamos ali há um ano estabilizados, frutificando e já tínhamos fechado o coração para qualquer possibilidade de sair do país. Porém, no início do segundo ano surgiu a possibilidade de irmos plantar igreja em outro país, que poderia ser em um país da África ou na Índia. Fizemos uma viagem para Moçambique em Missões Holidays, mas ali mesmo decidimos que não iríamos sair do Brasil. Isso foi em julho de 2012. Em setembro do mesmo ano, foi compartilhado conosco a necessidade de entrar em um país na África de língua inglesa. Nessa conversa, nossas convicções foram mudadas. Não se tratava mais de algo pessoal, não se tratava mais de “eu quero” ou “não quero”, o Espírito do Senhor nos mostrou que ali era tudo sobre o Reino de Deus, que não era uma vontade de permanecer na zona de conforto, de poder ficar perto da família, criar nossas filhas no ambiente familiar, mas era algo do tipo: “agora é a minha história sendo escrita, tem um povo clamando!”. A partir disso, não deu para ficar como estava, nossa vida deu uma virada de uns 180 graus e no período de seis meses nos mudamos para a África!

THE CALLING I can say that our call for the nations truly came from the absolute will of the Lord. After living fifteen years in the United States, having two daughters, as well as planting a beautiful church, the doors were closed and my visa was denied. When this happened we decided to move to Goiania, Brazil to learn more about the Vision and the structure of the church. We stayed there for one year. We were bearing many fruits and our hearts were closed to any possibility of leaving the country. However, in the beginning of the second year a possibility arose to plant a church in another country. Most likely it was going to be either in India or a country in Africa.

We traveled to Mozambique during the Missions Holidays in July of 2012, but when we arrived we decided not to leave Brazil. This same year in September, someone shared with us about the need to enter into an English-speaking country in Africa. As this conversation took place our convictions were changed. This was no longer a personal matter. It was not about whether "I want to" or "I do not want to”. The Spirit of the Lord showed us that it was all about the Kingdom of God. It was not His will for us to stay in our comfort zone, being close to the family and able to raise our daughters in this family environment. It was something like "now my story is going to be written, there are a people in need who are crying out!" After all of this, I could not remain the same way I was before. Our life made a complete 180 degree turn and after six months we moved to Africa!

A TERRA QUE O SENHOR MOSTROU A princípio fomos para Maputo-Moçambique, para uma adaptação e ali servirmos a igreja até termos uma direção de qual seria o país para o qual iríamos.

Em uma das viagens do pastor Marcelo Almeida para Maputo, ele conheceu um zambiano e então houve esta conexão de Deus. Esse zambiano, Kenedy Zimba, se prontificou a nos levar até o Zâmbia.

Então, fizemos essa viagem, pastor Marcelo, Zimba e eu. Fomos também para a Tanzânia, mas Deus deixou muito claro que o lugar era Lusaka-Zâmbia!

As portas se abriram de forma sobrenatural. A legalização da igreja, imigração, aluguel das casas para a plantação da Escola de Obras Pioneiras e o povo... Ah, que povo lindo! Receptivo, carismático, faminto pela glória de Deus! Essa é a terra que o Senhor nos mostrou!

THE LAND THAT THE LORD SHOWED At first we went to Maputo-Mozambique for an adaptation. We served the church there until we received a direction of which country we were to go to.

While Pastor Marcelo Almeida was on a trip to Maputo, he met a Zambian man. God created a connection with this Zambian, who’s name is Kenedy Zimba and he was ready to take us to Zambia. So, Pastor Marcelo, Zimba and myself traveled to Zambia. We also went to Tanzania, but God clearly showed us that Lusaka-Zambia was the right place!

The doors opened supernaturally. The legalization of the church, immigration, the rental of houses for the planting of the School of Pioneer Works and the people... Oh, what a beautiful people! They are very receptive, charismatic, and hungry for the glory of God! This is the land that the Lord has shown us!

CENTRO DE TREINAMENTO Temos treinado alunos de diversas nacionalidades. Até o presente momento recebemos irmãos de Bangladesh, Brasil, Cazaquistão, Índia, Paquistão, Nepal, Nigéria, Quênia, Tanzânia, Zâmbia, Uganda e Sudão do Sul. Essa experiência tem sido arrebatadora. Poder treinar esses irmãos e enviá-los para países perseguidos, lugares onde o islamismo é predominante, está longe da nossa capacidade de entender o que Deus tem preparado para nós. Estamos tocando em nações sem sair do lugar. Não temos ideia do que está acontecendo no mundo espiritual, somos pequenos demais para isso.

Agora temos sonhado com a compra do terreno e a construção de um complexo para o nosso centro de treinamento e termos o espaço para a igreja local, para os cursos do trilho do vencedor, seminário pastoral, oficinas de trabalho, cursos profissionalizantes e atividades com crianças.

NOVOS COMEÇOS 2017 foi um ano de novos começos! Enviamos 4 pastores da nossa equipe para Índia, Quênia, Uganda e Tanzânia. Cremos que o Senhor tem muito mais para fazer em Lusaka e continuamos avançando e frutificando como nunca antes.

Para quem queria ficar no Brasil... bem, sabemos que é apenas o início. Os campos estão brancos e nós estamos à disposição para cumprir a vontade do Senhor.

CHALLENGES It may seem weird, but even though the people were from different countries and cultures, we had an environment full of fellowship and flow of the Spirit. The students were very eager to grow and to receive.

I have never seen anything like it.

THE CHURCH The church in Lusaka-Zambia has grown in an amazing way. What is the secret to the growth? THE GRACE OF CHRIST! We focus on establishing a church of overcomers, working in unity, and seeking to do everything with quality. Consequently, the result has been quantity.

This is the preciousness of a pioneer work. We speak the same language and we work together for the same purpose.

TRAINING CENTER We have trained students from all different nationalities. So far we have received students from Bangladesh, Brazil, Kazakhstan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda and South Sudan.

This experience has been overwhelming. Being able to train these brethren and send them to persecuted countries where Islam is the main religion, is something so extraordinary that we are not able to understand the greatness of what God has prepared for us.

We are touching nations without leaving our place. We have no idea of what is happening in the spiritual world, we are too small for that.

Now we have dreamed about buying a plot of land to build apartments for our training center. Also, we want to have an area for the local church, the courses, the pastoral seminar, workshops, vocational courses, and activities for the children.

NEW BEGINNINGS 2017 was a year of new beginnings! We have sent four pastors from our team to India, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. We believe that the Lord has much more to do in Lusaka. We want to keep growing and bearing fruits as never before.

For someone who wanted to stay in Brazil… Well, we know it is just the beginning. The fields are ready and we are willing to do the will of the Lord.

On October 20th and 21st, the Wake Conference which was the 1st Youth Conference of Videira Italy in Milan, took place. It was a prophetic moment and days of revival. Em junho deste ano, o projeto na cidade Hyderabad foi iniciado.

Os alunos formados na Escola de Obras Pioneiras em Lusaka, Zâmbia retornaram para a Índia na equipe de plantação da igreja e da Escola de Obras Pioneiras.

In June of this year, the project in the city Hyderabad began. The graduated students from the School of Pioneer Works in Lusaka, Zambia returned to India as part of the church planting team and the School of Pioneer Works.

CAZAQUISTÃO E BANGLADESH

Deus tem levantado trabalhadores nos lugares mais difíceis dessa terra. São os valentes que vão.

No segundo semestre de 2017, três irmãos do Cazaquistão e quatro irmãos de Bangladesh foram recepcionados na Escola de Obras Pioneiras na Zâmbia, para uma temporada de treinamento e capacitação.

God has raised workers in the most difficult places on earth. It is the brave ones who go. In the second half of 2017, three brothers from Kazakhstan and four brothers from Bangladesh were received at the School of Pioneer Works for a season of training in Zambia.

o dia 11 de junho de 2017, aconteceu o Dia Mundial de Missões!

Essa foi a segunda edição da mobilização e tivemos o resultado de aproximadamente R$ 800.000,00 em arrecadações. Este valor foi aplicado na plantação de 4 novos projetos (Índia, Quênia, Uganda e Tanzânia), e na manutenção de projetos que já estavam em andamento.

O envolvimento dos pastores locais e de cada irmão nessa mobilização, foi crucial para alcançarmos este grande resultado.

O Dia Mundial de Missões foi estabelecido para que todos os irmãos da Videira e Vinha possam ter a oportunidade de semear e participar de forma ativa da obra missionária.

On June 11th, 2017, World Mission Day happened!

This was the second edition of this mobilization and resulted in approximately R$ 800,000.00 in offerings. This amount was applied towards the planting of 4 new projects (India, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania) as well as in the maintenance of projects that were already in progress.

The involvement of local pastors and each member was crucial in this mobilization for the achievement of this great result.

The World Mission Day was established so that all the members of Videira and Vinha could have the opportunity to actively sow and participate in this missionary work.

Iniciamos a mobilização com dois meses de antecedência. Separamos momentos de nossas reuniões de oração para clamarmos pela obra missionária, projetamos vídeos dos pastores em campo motivando os irmãos a participarem, decoramos a igreja para chamar a atenção dos irmãos e na semana anterior ao dia 11/06 ministrei uma palavra sobre sermos missionários: indo, orando e contribuindo.

No dia, a Igreja estava pronta para investir na obra missionária, o ambiente estava permeado pela presença de Deus e houve um intenso clamor pelas nações.”

TESTIMONY OF PASTOR SERGIO SCHUINDT - VIDE CHURCH, SANTO ANDRE, SAO PAULO. “Each member of Vide Church in Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, had great participation in World Mission Day. We started the mobilization two months in advance. We separated moments of our prayer meetings to cry out for the missionary work. We projected videos of the pastors out in the field to encourage our members to participate. We decorated the church building to get their attention and on the week before June 11th, I preached a message about being a missionary, going out, praying, and contributing.

On the World Mission Day, the Church was ready to invest into the missionary work. The environment was full of the presence of God and there was an intense cry out for the nations.

Houve também uma ministração especial do Pr. Marcelo Almeida, onde ele se vestiu de monge, como Lutero e nosso querido irmão Christopher Vergara mostrou um pouco das cruzadas que tem feito em países inalcançados e perseguidos.

There was also a special message from Pastor Marcelo Almeida, where he dressed as a monk, as Martin Luther. Other than that, our dear brother Christopher Vergara showed to us a little of the crusades he has done in unreached and persecuted countries.

O CLAMOR NA ESPANHA THE GROANING IN SPAIN

R

ealizado e contente na igreja do bairro da Lapa, em São Paulo, o pastor Alexandre Armelin foi desafiado a assumir o pastoreio e administração da igreja em Madri, na Espanha. Após uma confirmação sobrenatural, ele aceitou o desafio e foi enviado no ano de 2014.

“Determinada noite, Deus me deu um sonho e, nele, a direção da minha vida mudava. Era como quem estava andando de sul para o norte e agora tendo que andar de leste para oeste. No final dessa mudança, vi-me em um campo arado, regado, pronto para ser plantado e eu tinha uma semente na mão e uma lâmina de estilete. Agachei-me e passei a lamina sobre a terra e ela se abriu. Peguei a semente e a plantei ali. Mais em frente vi uma casa, um sobrado amarelo com muita gente, e nos quartos havia pessoas clamando. Já dentro da casa, perguntei ao anfitrião que estava ao meu lado:

h ile satisfied and happy with the church in Lapa neighborhood, in São Paulo, Pastor Alexandre Armelin received a challenge to take over the responsibility of being the pastor of the church in Madrid, Spain. After a supernatural confirmation, he accepted the challenge and was sent in 2014.

“One night God gave me a dream and in this dream the direction of my life was changed. I was walking from the south to the north, then I had to walk from the east to the west. After changing the direction, I noticed I was in a plowed and watered field, that was ready to be planted. I had a seed and a blade in my hands. As I crouched down, I scraped the blade on the ground and it opened up. I took the seed and planted it there. Farther on I saw a yellow house with many people inside and there were people crying out in the bedrooms.

o que é isso? E ele me respondeu que as pessoas estavam clamando e, naquele momento, o sonho acabou.” Conta o pastor.

Inicialmente a língua foi um dos maiores desafios para o pastor Alexandre e sua família.

Initially, the language was one of the greatest challenges for Pastor Alexandre and his family.

“Ao chegar em Madri, quando saíamos do hotel, ficávamos totalmente sem comunicação. Eu não sabia nem o que significava Calle – Rua em espanhol. Fui ao supermercado e, na volta, minha esposa havia esquecido de comprar algo. Falei para os meus filhos irem ao supermercado pegar o que ela precisava e eles simplesmente se perderam. Levaram 40 minutos para achar o local que estávamos. Não tínhamos o que fazer, não sabíamos a língua e assim foi a nossa chegada” afirma o pastor.

“After arriving in Madrid, as soon as we left the hotel, we were already not able communicate. I did not even know what “calle” was, which means “street” in Spanish. I went to the grocery store and on the way back, my wife noticed that she forgot to buy something. I asked my children to go back to the grocery store and get what she needed, but they got lost. They took forty minutes to find the place where we were and we could not do anything about it. We did not know how to speak the language. This is what happened during our arrival” declared Pastor Alexandre.

Ele encontrou uma igreja desacreditada, que já tivera cerca de 800 membros, mas naquele momento estava com apenas 286, sem contar as dívidas administrativas que tinham para acertar.

The members of the church were really discouraged due to the loss of members, decreasing from about 800 to now only having 286 people.

Also, there were a large amount of administrative debts that needed to be paid.

Madri é enorme, tem uma população de aproximadamente 3,3 milhões de pessoas, com uma área metropolitana com cerca de 6,5 milhões de habitantes. Um campo muito grande para colheita e é o que tem acontecido nos últimos anos. A Videira Madri está com 450 membros e em pleno crescimento. Obreiros foram enviados à Badajoz, Bilbao e Barcelona e os planos são de abrir uma igreja em cada estado país.

Um dos grandes segredos para o crescimento é a abertura de células e células kids. Há o testemunho de que, durante uma célula kids, uma criança foi curada e, em uma célula de adultos, uma dependente química foi liberta. Os pais da criança e da jovem foram muito impactados e hoje são membros da igreja.

Mais da metade da dívida assumida pelo pastor Alexandre já foi paga, a intensão é de quitar o valor restante no ano de 2018.

Mesmo em meio à crise financeira, a igreja tem avançado muito. O prédio foi reformado sem precisar retirar dinheiro do caixa, pois os próprios irmãos envolvidos na obra têm investido na reforma.

“Sinto-me no centro da vontade de Deus, no local que Deus me colocou, fazendo a obra que Deus me comissionou. Estou realizado e feliz como servo, pastor, pai, esposo. Deus me deu uma família abençoada.

A melhor coisa que pode existir é estar no centro da vontade de Deus, seguro e convicto que Deus te colocou no lugar onde está, e Ele mesmo garantirá as conquistas porque Ele já venceu. Estou plantando a semente que Deus colocou na minha mão.”

Afirma o pastor Alexandre.

Madrid is huge city. Its population consists of approximately 3.3 million people, out of the total 6.5 million people that are estimated to live in the entire metropolitan area. It is a very large field to harvest and this is what has been occurring during the past few years. Vine Madrid has a total of 450 members today and is still growing. Pastors in training were sent to Badajoz, Bilbao, and Barcelona and we have plans to plant one church in each state of the country.

One of the greatest secrets to experience growth is to open new adult and kids cell groups. There is a testimony of a child who was healed during one of the kids cell groups and also of a young person who was addicted that received deliverance during an adult cell group. As a result, the parents of the child, as well as, the parents of the youth member were extremely impacted.

They are all now members of the church.

More than half of the debt the church had when Pastor Alexandre arrived there has already been paid. They want to pay off the remaining amount in 2018. Even during the financial crisis, the church has continued to advance greatly. Due to the investment of the church members, they themselves rebuilt the building without having to use money from the bank account.

versículo 19 de Mateus 28 é a ordenança do Senhor Jesus para nós como agentes de reconciliação (2Co 5:1820). Desde a ordenança, temos avançado como portadores das boas novas em nossa vizinhança, família, cidade e nação para que todos possam ouvir a respeito do Salvador e Ele voltar. O que muitos desconhecem, é que no mundo existem povos que nunca sequer ouviram falar de Jesus. Esses povos são chamados de inalcançados pelo evangelho.

atthew 28:19 is the Lord Jesus’ ordinance for us as ministers of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18-20).

From this ordinance, we have advanced as bearers of the good news in our neighborhood, family, city, and nation so that all can hear about the Savior and His return. What many are unaware of is that in the world there are people who have never even heard of Jesus. These people are called “unreached” by the gospel.

Um povo é composto por um conjunto de pessoas que falam a mesma língua, têm costumes e interesses semelhantes, histórias, tradições e que vivem em comunidade num determinado território. São considerados inalcançados os que tem menos de 2% de sua população cristã evangélica, ou seja, não existem crentes suficientes para evangelizar o restante do seu próprio povo. Hoje, quase 3 milhões de pessoas se enquadram nessa categoria.

A population is composed of a group of people who speak the same language.

They have similar customs, interests, histories, traditions, and live in community within a determined territory. Unreached are those who lives in a population where less than 2% are evangelical Christian, that is, there are not enough believers to evangelize the rest of the people. Today there are nearly 3 million people who are part of this category.

Quando falamos de povos inalcançados, nos referimos a grupos de pessoas que não tem nenhum acesso ao evangelho e não especificamente a uma nação. Por exemplo, dentro de uma nação existem muitos povos (grupos) e alguns deles podem nunca ter ouvido falar de Jesus por sua crença, tradição, por estarem isolados m tribos e aldeias, e etc.

When we speak of unreached people, we are referring to specific groups of people who have no access to the gospel as opposed to speaking about an entire nation. For example, within a nation there can be many people (groups) that have never heard of Jesus. This may be because of their belief, tradition, being isolated in tribes and villages, and so on.

Atualmente, 95% dos povos inalcançados estão localizados no que chamamos de janela 10/40, que compreende desde o norte da África até o sudeste asiático. Nessa região os tribais, hindus, ateus, islamistas e budistas predominam. Apesar da janela 10/40, hoje, também existem povos inalcançados vivendo em outras partes do mundo, como imigrantes, refugiados e estudantes internacionais.

Como, porém, invocarão aquele em quem não creram? E como crerão naquele de quem nada ouviram? E como ouvirão, se não há quem pregue?

Today, 95% of the unreached peoples are located in what we call the 10/40 window, which ranges from North Africa to Southeast Asia. The predominate population in this region are the tribals, Hindus, atheists, Islamists and Buddhists. Despite the 10/40 window today, there are also unreached people living in other parts of the world, such as immigrants, refugees, and international students.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Apesar do forte apelo das Igrejas para que missionários transculturais sejam enviados, menos de 3% tem trabalhado com povos inalcançados. Dentre os 3% está o nosso querido irmão Cristopher Vergara, mais conhecido como Chileno.

Despite the strong call from the churches for cross-cultural missionaries to be sent, less than 3% of them end up working with unreached people. Among the 3% is our dear brother Cristopher Vergara, or better known as Chileno.

Nos últimos anos ele tem sido um parceiro da Vine International, visitando povos inalcançados e também perseguidos, fazendo grandes cruzadas evangelísticas e abrindo caminhos para que após convertidos, os irmãos dessas localidades sejam treinados em Lusaka, Zâmbia.

For the past few years he has been a partner of Vine International, visiting unreached and persecuted people, leading great evangelistic crusades, and opening ways for the new born again Christians to be trained in Lusaka, Zambia.

Algo importante sobre povos perseguidos que o Chileno sempre ressalta, é sobre a diferença da perseguição política e religiosa.

Something important about persecuted peoples that Chileno always emphasizes is the difference of political and religious persecution.

Chileno já esteve em países nessas condições, como Bangladesh, Cazaquistão, China, Cuba, Irã, Mianmar, Nepal e Paquistão. Ele nos fala um pouco sobre a sua estratégia de evangelismo: “Geralmente vou sem nenhum contato no país, começo pelo aeroporto. Pego um taxista que fale inglês, puxo assunto e, conforme a conversa flui, ele fala da vida dele e vai abrindo o coração. Nesse momento eu avalio se pode ser evangelizado, para que não me denuncie. Se não é a pessoa certa, eu vou trocando de taxista no decorrer dos dias até encontrar a pessoa pronta para receber o evangelho. Após evangelizar, a pessoa me ajuda apresentando outros ou me leva em alguma comunidade cristã escondida.”

Chileno has been in countries such as Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan. He tells us a bit about his evangelism strategy: “I usually go without any contact in the country. Starting at the airport, I get picked up by a taxi driver who speaks English. I initiate a conversation and as it begins to flow, he talks about his life and opens his heart. At that moment I evaluate whether or not I will be able to evangelize him, so that I do not mistakenly uncover my identity. If he is not the right person, I will change taxi drivers over the course of a few days, until I find a person ready to receive the gospel. After evangelizing this person, he helps me by introducing me to others, or by leading me into a hidden Christian community.”

Em sua viagem ao Cazaquistão, Chileno aplicou a estratégia e chegou a uma cidade pronta para começar algo. Como a perseguição no país é política, ele evita reunir grandes grupos ou multidões, então a estratégia nessa cidade foram as células.

On his trip to Kazakhstan, Chileno implemented this strategy and arrived at a city that was already ready to start something. Due to the persecution in the country being political, it was hard for him to bring together large groups or crowds, so the strategy in that city was the cell groups.

“Fizemos células com nativos, pessoas nas montanhas, com animais, ovelhas... são conhecidos por comer muita carne, dizem que comem mais carne que os lobos. Começamos, então, a fazer churrascos evangelísticos e veio muita gente, as pessoas começaram a se converter e hoje já temos 3 seminaristas nativos na escola de obras pioneiras há 6 meses. Eles voltarão para plantar igrejas no Cazaquistão. Ali é a porta de entrada para o Turquestão, Turquemenistão, Uzbequistão, Azerbaijão e toda a Ásia Central. Deus nos deu essa porta de entrada para alcançar esse povos muçulmanos.”

“We started cell groups with natives, people in the mountains, who have animals, sheep... they are known to eat a lot of meat, they say they eat more meat than the wolves. We began to make evangelistic barbecues and many people came, people began to convert, and today we have three native seminarians who have been in the pioneering school of works for six months. They will return to plant churches in Kazakhstan. This place is the gateway to Turkestan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and all of Central Asia.

God has given us this gateway to reach these Muslim people.”

O Senhor Jesus quer salvar, mas precisa de homens e mulheres dispostos a orar, investir e ser enviados para esses lugares.

Acredito que pelo menos algum país – se não todos – que o Chileno citou, você nunca tinha ouvido falar, certo!? Comece estudando, Deus falará com você!

The Lord Jesus wants to save, but he needs men and women willing to pray, invest, and be sent to these places. I believe that you have never heard about some, if not all, of the countries that Chileno quoted, right?!

Start studying, God will speak to you!

A perseguição política parte do governo e é respaldada por leis contra qualquer tipo de proselitismo.

“No Irã e Cazaquistão o governo proíbe qualquer tipo de congregação, plantação, evangelismo, batismo, conversão... se te pegam, você vai preso ou morto” - afirma Chileno.

A perseguição religiosa parte do povo. Eles têm uma crença e não aceitam outras, de forma extrema. O Chileno nos explica sobre o estado islâmico, por exemplo: “No Paquistão existe a perseguição dos radicais do estado islâmico, talibãs. Eles se infiltram em reuniões e explodem a qualquer momento.”

Political persecution comes from the government and is supported by laws against any form of proselytism.

“In Iran and Kazakhstan the government forbids any kind of congregation, church planting, evangelism, baptism, conversion... if they catch you, you will be arrested or killed” - says Chileno.

Religious persecution comes from the people.

They have their own belief and they radically refuse to accept others. Chileno explains us about the Islamic state, for example: “In Pakistan there is the persecution from the radicals of the Islamic state, the Taliban.

They can infiltrate into meetings and explode themselves at any moment.”

Many brothers and sisters receive a specific calling from God, but because of the circumstances or because of unexpected things, the dream and the promises become constrained. During times like this, sing! Declare the Lord's promises and be willing to live every one of God's perfect plans for you.

Que 2017 foi um ano de grande crescimento para a Vine International, não é novidade, mas não estamos satisfeitos, pois sabemos que Deus tem muito mais para fazer.

We already know that 2017 was a year of great growth for Vine International. However, we are not satisfied, because we know that God has a lot more to do.

Só de pensar, o nosso coração se alegra ainda mais com aquilo que está por vir. Já tem sido maravilhoso ver as conversões, vidas sendo transformadas, ver a comunidade dos discípulos de Jesus crescendo e pessoas que antes não tinham nenhuma perspectiva de vida, receberem um significado.

When we think about it, our hearts rejoice even more with what is to come. It has been wonderful to see so many people being converted, having their lives transformed, to see the community of the disciples of Jesus growing and people who had no perspective of life in the past receiving a purpose.

Muitas das nossas lutas, paradigmas e barreiras estão em nossa mente. Em romanos 12:1-2 somos incentivados a renova-la para experimentarmos a perfeita vontade de Deus. Ele é bondoso, nos ama e quer muito nos abençoar, mas, para isso, precisamos expandir os horizontes e crer que faremos obras ainda maiores.

Many of our struggles, paradigms, and barriers are only in our mind. In Romans 12:12 we are encouraged to renew our minds to experience the perfect will of God. He is kind, loves us and wants to bless us so much, but we need to expand our horizons and believe that we will do even greater things.

NAÇÕES Em Mateus 28:20 o Senhor Jesus nos comissiona a discipular as nações, ou seja, sermos influentes nas esferas da sociedade a ponto de ensiná-los o melhor estilo de vida, que é o de Cristo. Somos Igreja fora das 4 paredes do prédio e, neste tempo, o Senhor tem nos impelido a investir diretamente na esfera da família e da educação para que a próxima geração seja formada com êxito.

Nações apontam para pessoas e é isso o que realmente importa. Sermos instrumentos para levar a mudança, o consolo e a VIDA. Hoje já temos projetos sociais com as pré-escolas em Moçambique, oficinas de trabalho na Zâmbia e o Senhor tem nos levado a sonhar muito alto.

“Em 2018, eu e a Walneide nos instalaremos em Lusaka, na Zâmbia. Sentimos um enorme encargo por iniciarmos um modelo leve, transferível, duplicável e autossustentável de obra missionária. A nossa intensão é receber viúvas que adotam órfãos em vilas onde poderemos investir no discipulado e resgate da dignidade de milhares de crianças.” – Afirma o pastor Marcelo Almeida

NATIONS In Matthew 28:20 the Lord Jesus commissioned us to disciple the nations, that is, to influence the society to the point of teaching them the best lifestyle, Christ’s lifestyle. We are Church outside the four walls of the building and at this time the Lord has urged us to invest directly in the realm of family and education so that the next generation will grow successfully.

Nations point to people and that is what really matters. To be instruments that bring change, consolation, and LIFE. Today we already have social projects with pre-schools in Mozambique, workshops in Zambia, and the Lord has caused us to dream a lot.

A

conexão do pastor com a Europa sempre existiu, inclusive, passou sua lua de mel com a pastora Gabriella Bittencourt na Alemanha e, desde então, visitaram diversos países do continente.

O desafio de pastorear fora do país veio da convicção de serem enviados às nações e dos alinhamentos de promessas e circunstâncias.

“Há muitos anos o Senhor, por diversas vezes, me deu palavras de que em algum momento da nossa vida nos levaria para as nações. Em 2016, uma série de alinhamentos começaram a acontecer, promessas e palavras proféticas foram liberadas e, finalmente, veio o desafio para que viéssemos para a Inglaterra. Diante de todos os acontecimentos, decidimos responder ao chamado de Deus.”

Swindon é uma cidade localizada no sudoeste da Inglaterra, fica entre Cardiff e Londres, e conta com aproximadamente 209 mil habitantes. É uma cidade multicultural, com pessoas de todas as regiões do mundo, e em 2005 foi considerada pelo governo como umas das capitais culturais da Inglaterra.

A

connection between Pastor Antonio and Europe has always existed. During his honeymoon, he went to Germany with his wife, Gabriella Bittencourt, and since that time they have visited different countries within the European continent.

The challenge of being a pastor in a foreign country comes from the conviction they have of being called to go to the nations, as well as, the alignment of promises and circumstances.

“Many years ago the Lord gave me different words saying that one day He would send us to the nations. In 2016, God begun to align many things in our lives, we received many promises and prophetic words, and finally we were challenged to go to England. In the midst of all this, we decided to respond to the call of God.” Swindon is a city located in the southwest of England, between Cardiff and London. It has approximately 209,000 inhabitants. It is a multicultural city and there are people from all parts of the world. In 2005, the government established Swindon as one of the cultural capitals of England.

Após 5 anos em Ribeirão Preto, no interior de São Paulo, o pastor Antonio Afiune, diante de uma direção de Deus e um desafio, assumiu em 2016 a igreja local de Swindon, na Inglaterra.

After spending five years in Ribeirão Preto, the interior city of São Paulo, Pastor Antonio Afiune received both a direction from God and a challenge. In 2016, he took the responsibility over the local church of Swindon, England.

A igreja, anteriormente liderada pelo pastor Giles Stevens, recebeu os pastores e seu casal de filhos com alegria, mas os desafios eram outros.

The church was formerly led by Pastor Giles Stevens. When they received Pastor Antonio, his wife, and their joyful couple of children, the challenges being faced in the church were different.

“O maior desafio foi que viemos para assumir uma obra já estabelecida e desenvolvida exclusivamente na língua inglesa. Por um lado, é um grande privilégio mas, por outro, é desafiador superar as barreiras linguísticas e culturais para nos conectarmos completamente. Com certeza após essa experiência missionária posso afirmar com todas as letras que o choque cultural existe.”

“The biggest challenge for us was to assume the responsibility of a church that was already established and developed exclusively in the English language. On one hand, it is a great privilege, but on the other, it is a challenge to overcome the linguistic and cultural barriers that prevent us from completely connecting.

Certainly, after this missionary experience, I can affirm that the culture shock exists.”

A igreja em Swindon tem avançado a passos largos. Em 2017, aproximadamente 30 pessoas foram acrescentadas, além do seminário pastoral presencial em língua inglesa, que teve seu inicio com 15 alunos.

Novas frentes de trabalho na Inglaterra também foram iniciadas, nas cidades de Bristol, Coventy, Londres, Oxford e Reading.

The church in Swindon has been growing really fast. In 2017, approximately 30 people were connected to the church. In addition, 15 students begun the pastoral seminar all in English.

New pioneers work in England has also begun in the cities of Bristol, Coventy, London, Oxford and Reading.

“Nosso desejo nos próximos anos é ver esse seminário resultar em novas lideranças levantadas no país e na plantação de novas Igrejas.”

“Our desire in the coming years is to see this seminar bringing results such as new leaders being raised in the country and new Churches being planted.”

Em todas as coisas o Senhor Jesus tem suprido essa família de missionários, cuidando de cada detalhe.

The Lord Jesus has supplied this family of missionaries in everything, taking care of all the details.

“Quando fomos obter o visto, que dependia de ser aprovado num teste de fluência da língua inglesa, que era impossível para mim, humanamente falando, mas a graça de Deus me capacitou e passamos no teste!”

“When we applied for the visa, we had to do an English test to exam our fluency in this language. Humanly speaking, it was impossible for me to be approved in this test and get my visa. But the grace of God empowered me and we passed the test!”

Em 2018 os projetos são de crescimento!

Os planos são de alcançar os ingleses com o evangelho da graça e aproveitar a realidade transcultural da cidade para expandir o Reino em outros países.

The projects for 2018 are projects of growth!

The plans are to reach the British people with the gospel of grace and take advantage of this multicultural aspect of the city, to expand the Kingdom to other countries.

“É uma alegria muito grande pastorear uma igreja internacional com mais de 25 nacionalidades diferentes. A Inglaterra é um país lindo e sua realidade multicultural nos abrirá portas para outros países do mundo, cremos que isso acontecerá no futuro.”

“It is a great joy of mine to be a pastor of an international church with more than 25 different nationalities. England is a beautiful country and its multicultural reality will open doors to other countries in the world. We believe that it will happen in the future.”

Você com certeza já viu notícias sobre crianças abandonadas, órfãs, mulheres em situação crítica e de gravidez precoce. Essa triste realidade desperta nossas emoções, mas, mais do que isso ela deve chamar nossa atenção para a gravidade do problema e a necessidade de uma ação urgente.

It is certain that you have seen news regarding the children that have been abandoned, orphans, women in critical situations, and early pregnancies. This sad reality awakens our emotions, however, even more than that it should draw our attention to the severity of this problem and the need to take urgent action.

O sofrimento de crianças sem pais tem aumentado expressivamente em todo o mundo. Cerca de 153 milhões de órfãos tem chorado a perda de uma infância e sofrido a ausência de referenciais. Se não houver uma ação urgente onde as crianças encontrem propósito existencial, esperança e expectativas futuras, essa realidade continuará afetando gerações.

The suffering of children without parents has increased dramatically throughout the world. About 153 million orphans have lost their childhoods while suffering from the absence of references. If there is no urgent action to help the children to find their existential purpose, hope and future expectations, this reality will continue to affect the future generations.

Como igreja, cremos que é possível fazer a diferença e criar condições para diminuir esse sofrimento. As crianças, ao serem inseridas num ambiente de amor, aceitação, recebendo investimento espiritual, crescerão com dignidade, segurança e autoestima.

Queremos resgatá-las e proporcionar esse ambiente acolhedor para o desenvolvimento de seu potencial.

As a church, we believe it is possible to make a difference and create the conditions needed to decrease this suffering. When children are placed in an environment of love and acceptance, where they receive spiritual investment, they will grow with dignity, security and self-esteem. We want to rescue them and provide this welcoming environment for the development of their potential.

WHAT IS IT? Global Passion is a global missionary organization that aims to support the next generation. Its mission is to rescue and build children under the foundation of the Word of God, preparing them for the future, developing their potential, as well as their dignity and purpose.

It is a project that includes support towards precocious maternity, the defense of the child’s right to life, the structuring of the pedagogical, technical and spiritual education of the child.

THE STRUCTURE First, a village of houses will be built, where each home will house orphans and widows, thus providing a family nucleus. This setting will remain until they are enrolled in a college or the job market.

É nesse ambiente que as crianças crescerão de modo saudável, recebendo amor, carinho, proteção, cuidado, educação pedagógica e espiritual, sendo edificadas e discipuladas no Evangelho de Cristo.

It is in this environment that children will grow up in a healthy way, receiving love, care, protection, pedagogical and spiritual education; being built up and discipled in the Gospel of Christ.

ESTENDENDO O PROJETO Outra frente da Global Passion é a atuação social de apoio às famílias carentes, gerando oportunidades de trabalho para que tenham renda para seu sustento. São iniciativas profissionais como corte e costura, designer de modas, confecção de joias, artesanatos, fabricação de móveis, culinária, produção de alimentos e muitos outros fazem parte do projeto.

EXPANDING THE PROJECT Another focus of Global Passion is the social work of supporting the families in need, generating job opportunities, which provides a method for them to earn income for their livelihood. These include professional initiatives such as cutting and sewing, fashion designing, making jewelry, handicrafts, furniture manufacturing, cooking, food production and many others trades are involved as a part of the project.

O QUE JÁ ACONTECE Algumas fases do projeto já estão em plena atividade. Em Moçambique temos três unidades de pré-escola. Este trabalho tem gerado muitos frutos e atualmente está sendo ampliado.

WHAT ALREADY HAPPENS Some phases of the project are already working out really well. In Mozambique we have three preschool units. This work has generated many fruits and is currently being expanded.

Outra iniciativa que está a todo vapor, são as nossas Oficinas de Trabalho. Estas estão localizadas na Zâmbia, onde temos treinado mulheres na confecção de artesanatos, bijuterias, corte e costura e culinária, a fim de gerarem recursos próprios e também para essa obra. Essa estratégia tem sido um instrumento não só de recurso financeiro, mas também um canal de resgate dessas mulheres e um despertar para o trabalho com crianças.

Another initiative that is also already taking place is our workshops.

These are located in Zambia, where we have trained women in order to generate resources for themselves, as well as for this work. They are trained in the making of handicrafts, jewelry, sewing and cooking.

This strategy has been an instrument not only for financial resources, but also as a channel to rescue these women and begin an awakening to work with children.

VALOR DOS PEQUENOS COMEÇOS. Quando iniciamos a Vinha Internacional, éramos apenas duas igrejas, uma em Cuzco, no Peru, e outra em Atlanta, nos Estados Unidos. Apesar das duas igrejas estarem ativas, a organização como Vinha no exterior ainda não existia. Assim que nos mudamos para a Flórida, começamos a nos reunir como igreja em nossa casa e, nas reuniões, contávamos com nossa família e um casal de amigos. Logo depois, vieram mais dois casais, um deles com duas crianças. Todos os domingos eu subia para o meu quarto com as duas crianças e ministrava a Palavra como se estivesse diante de milhares. A cada reunião, eu declarava que elas eram os primogênitos de muitos que Deus nos daria. Hoje, o resultado de tudo o que está acontecendo nos países em que já entramos é o cumprimento dessa declaração. Assim, a Vine Kids tem sido estabelecida em cada base onde plantamos igrejas e temos desfrutado do favor que Deus tem derramado abundantemente sobre esse ministério.

HE VALUE OF SMALL BEGINNINGS. When we started the Vine International we were only two churches, one in Cuzco (Peru), and one in Atlanta (USA).

Although the two churches were active, the Vine International still had not yet existed as an organization. As soon as we moved to Florida, we began to gather as a church in our home.

Only our family and a couple of friends would attend to the meetings. Soon after, two more couples came, and one of them had two children. Every Sunday, I would go up to my room with the two children and minister the Word of God as if I was preaching for thousands. At every meeting, I declared that they were the firstborn of many that God would give us. Today, the result of everything that is happening in the countries we have entered into is the fulfillment of those words. Thus, Vine Kids has been established at every place where we plant churches and we enjoy the favor that God has poured out abundantly onto this ministry.

GANHANDO CRIANÇAS EM DIFERENTES CULTURAS! De modo geral, criança é criança em qualquer lugar e sua abordagem é sempre simples, por causa da simplicidade de coração e pureza de intenções que norteiam essa fase. Independentemente de termos acesso ao coração da criança, porém, é natural enfrentarmos dificuldades culturais em todos os lugares.

Nos Estados Unidos ou na Europa, por exemplo, você não vê crianças nas ruas, elas têm uma jornada escolar das sete da manhã até as três horas da tarde. O trajeto da escola para casa e vice-versa é dentro de um ônibus escolar e isso torna o acesso a elas mais difícil. O fato de você ter que “respeitar a distância” que o americano coloca, exige de nós também uma “polidez” ao abordar seus filhos. Já na África, o que não falta é criança na rua. A média de vida lá é de 45 a 50 anos e, em muitos países, metade da população tem até 16 anos. Por causa da pobreza geral desse continente, as crianças estão em todos os lugares, o que torna o acesso a elas mais fácil. Embora não seja difícil alcançar crianças, a abordagem se difere no ser, agir e pensar de cada lugar.

WINNING CHILDREN IN DIFFERENT CULTURES! In general, children remain children everywhere we go. We always should approach them with simplicity, because they have simple hearts and pure intentions. However, even with this simple approach to the children, it does not change the fact that there are cultural difficulties everywhere to face.

For example, in the United States and Europe you usually do not see children on the streets. They go to school at 7AM and stay there until 3PM. They take the bus to go to school and to get back home. Due to this, it really hard to approach them. Since we need to “respect the personal space” of the American people, we must approach their children with “courtesy”.

On the contrary, we can see many children on the streets in Africa.

The average life span there is between 45 to 50 years old. In many countries, half the population is less than 16 years old. As a result of the general poverty of this continent, children are everywhere, making it easy to approach them. Even though it is not difficult to reach the children, the approach we should have will depend on the way people are, act, and think in each place.

children are not rigid. Every supervisor pastor can use or adapt these strategies according to their needs. They use the tools they received in accordance to the reality and context in which they are living. Regardless, is does not change the results which have been extraordinary.

O DESAFIO DA EUROPA E NAÇÕES ONDE O CRISTIANISMO É PERSEGUIDO. Atualmente o nosso maior desafio tem sido a Europa, é lá que encontramos maior resistência. Estamos, entretanto, debaixo de uma palavra profética de avivamento para aquele lugar e cremos que esse quadro em breve mudará.

Outro grande desafio são os países da Ásia.

Deus tem aberto portas e em países de risco onde é proibido pregar o evangelho.

Recentemente recebemos um convite para abrirmos uma escola no meio e uma comunidade onde as mulheres e filhos são vendidos para pagar dívidas e onde as crianças não tem acesso à educação. É um tremendo desafio pensar quando, com quem e quais estratégias usaremos para alcançarmos essas vidas. Queremos ser instrumento de Deus para esse rebanho tão sofredor onde a igreja do Senhor é perseguida.

THE CHALLENGES FACED IN EUROPE AND IN NATIONS WHERE CHRISTIANITY IS PERSECUTED. Nowadays our biggest challenge is Europe, where we have found the greatest resistance.

However, we received a prophetic word that a revival is coming and we believe that this reality will soon change.

Another great challenge is the Asian countries.

God has opened doors in countries where it is forbidden to preach the gospel. Recently we have received an invitation to open a school in the middle of a community where women and children are sold to pay debts, and where children do not have access to education. It is a tremendous challenge for us to think about when, with whom, and what strategies we will use to reach those lives. We want to be an instrument of God for this suffering flock, in the places where the church of the Lord is persecuted.

Our goal is to conquer families, win them for Christ, and provide a healthy environment for children to develop their Christian lives. This goal is not only for the cell groups, but especially within their households. Project Samuel was developed in Brazil for this purpose. We have seen extraordinary results, such as entire families connecting to the life of the church, through the children that have been reached in the cell groups.

RUMO AOS ALVOS! Como igreja, temos o alvo de acreditar sempre no potencial que temos em mãos. Como líder, quero continuar a treinar esses pequenos e inspirá-los a se tornarem líderes na sua geração. Como pastora, tenho alvos de investir, cuidar e amar essas pastoras tão preciosas que Deus nos deu como parceiras desse ministério. Como serva, quero estar sempre à disposição para que esse ministério cresça, avance e chegue até os confins da terra.

Como visionária enxergo, pela fé, que tudo isso é apenas o começo de grandes coisas planejadas no coração de Deus a nosso favor.

TOWARDS THE GOALS! As a church, our goal is to always believe in the potential that we hold within our hands.

As a leader, I want to continue to train these little ones and inspire them to become leaders in their generation. As a pastor, I have the goal of investing, taking care of, and loving the precious pastors whom God has given to us as partners in this ministry. As a servant, I want to always be available for this ministry to grow, advance, and reach the ends of the earth. As a visionary, I see by faith that all of this is just the beginning of the great plans in the heart of God, on our behalf.

BIO Pastora Walneide Almeida, casada com o Pastor Marcelo Almeida mãe de três filhos: Pedro Rafael, Guilherme e Timóteo. Está juntamente com seu esposo à frente da Vinha Internacional. Em sua supervisão há 950 células de crianças e juvenis, somando mais de 16 mil crianças em 30 nações diferentes. É também autora do livro: Mulher – Um propósito divino.

xistem tantos países espalhados pelo mundo que, às vezes, não dá para saber onde ficam. Quando se ouve falar de Egito e Marrocos, por exemplo, a gente nem lembra que pertencem à África, terceiro maior continente do mundo. São muitas as culturas espalhadas por mais de 54 nações e sua população em maioria é jovem. A matriz afro diz que toda vida é sagrada e no centro de toda a criação está o ser humano. As famílias no geral valorizam muito a geração de filhos, por isso existem tantas crianças.

No entanto, a economia e os demais setores dos países africanos sofrem com a negligência da falta de investimentos na educação dessa geração. Confrontando essa realidade a Igreja Videira tem plantado um futuro completamente diferente, realizando um trabalho importantíssimo no DPI - Desenvolvimento da Primeira Infância, através do projeto African Kids.

A primeira infância é a fase de maior vulnerabilidade do ser humano, mas também é a idade de maior aprendizado. A estimulação precoce permite a aquisição das bases do desenvolvimento físico, cognitivo, linguístico e sócio emocional. Os benefícios do investimento nesse período da vida são inúmeros e refletem visivelmente na sociedade com a redução dos índices de desemprego, criminalidade e desestruturação familiar.

h ere are many different countries around the world, some of which you might not even know their locations. Often times when people hear about countries such as Egypt and Morocco, they do not realize that these countries belong to Africa, which is the third largest continent in the world. In Africa there are many different cultures that spread across more than 54 nations, most of which the populations are young. The African matrix says that all life is sacred and the human being is at the center of all creation. Generally, families value their children’s generation, which is why they have so many kids.

However, the economy and other sectors of African countries suffer the consequences of the lack of investments in the children’s education. Vine Church confronted this reality by planting a completely different future.

Through the African Kids project, they are fulfilling a very important work in the Early Childhood Development (ECD).

Early childhood is the most vulnerable stage of a human being’s life and is also when one begins to learn at a rapid pace. Early stimulation allows one to acquire the basis of physical, cognitive, linguistic, and emotional development.

During this period of time, there are many benefits towards investing into the children. These benefits are then visibly reflected within society through aspects such as reduction of unemployment, crime, and the restoration of families.

AS UNIDADES Duas delas estão localizadas na Cidade da Beira – Província de Sofala (Região Central de Moçambique) e uma terceira unidade está sendo construída na Cidade de Maputo, capital do país. Ela será inaugurada em 2018 e terá a capacidade mínima para atender 150 crianças.

O alcance do projeto é muito expressivo e o trabalho tem aberto novas frentes.

Crianças de pais muçulmanos estão sendo expostas a palavra de Deus, através das escolas. Elas entregam suas vidas a Jesus, aprendem a orar e recebem esperança e expectativas para o futuro.

INVESTIMENTO As parcerias são fundamentais para o desenvolvimento e ampliação do African Kids.

As contribuições podem acontecer de diversas formas: • Qualificação universitária dos educadores; • Suporte financeiro às pedagogas; • Mobiliário para salas de aula; • Micro-ônibus para transporte dos alunos; • Equipamentos para cozinha industrial; • Aquisição de lotes/terrenos; • Construção de novas unidades; • Reforma das unidades em atividade.

O PROJETO O African Kids é um projeto de alfabetização infantil que aproveita a estrutura da igreja local durante a semana para abrigar pré-escolas. Essa estrutura atende crianças de 0 a 5 anos e surgiu do desejo de construir escolas com princípios cristãos para as crianças africanas. No início, o projeto era chamado de Joias da África e mais tarde foi ampliado para African Kids. Tem como objetivo oferecer um ensino pedagógico de qualidade que promova o desenvolvimento psicológico, físico, intelectual, social e moral, preparando a criança para ingressar na escola primária.

THE PROJECT African Kids is a children's literacy project that uses the structure of the local church during the week to house pre-schools. The structure was built to receive children from 0 to 5 years old and it arose from the desire to build schools based on Christian principles for African children. At first this project was called “Joias da Africa”, which translates to “Jewelry of Africa”, and later was expanded into African Kids. The goal of the project is to offer quality teaching which promotes psychological, physical, intellectual, social, and moral development in order to prepare children to enroll into primary schools.

Implementado em 2012, já atendeu cerca de 603 alunos e inseriu na primeira classe 262 alunos pré-alfabetizados. Inicialmente, foi feito um trabalho massivo de casa em casa para convencer os pais a deixarem seus filhos irem para a pré-escola. De maneira extraordinária, o projeto tem alcançado grandes resultados. Alguns pais preferem levar seus filhos para estudarem em nossa escola localizada em uma comunidade carente, ao colocar seu filho em uma escola da região central. Isso pelo alto índice de qualidade no ensino e excelentes resultados que os alunos têm obtido. Em 2017, 144 crianças foram atendidas e o desejo é de expandir esse trabalho para outras línguas e nações.

The project was implemented in 2012. Since then it has already served about 603 students, including 262 pre-literate students in the first year of primary schools. Initially, a massive work was accomplished. We went house-to-house persuading parents to permit their children to go to preschool. The project has achieved great results in an extraordinary way. Some parents prefer to bring their children to study at our school that is located within a poor community, rather than to bring them to school at the center of the city.

This is due to the high quality of teaching and excellent results that the students have obtained. In 2017, 144 children were received into the project! Our desire is to expand this work to other languages and nations.

THE UNITS. Two of the units are located in the City of Beira - Sofala Province (Central Region of Mozambique) and there is now a third one being built in Maputo, the capital of the country. It will be inaugurated in 2018 and the minimum capacity will be for 150 children.

The extent of the project is very significant and this work has already opened new doors.

Children of Muslim parents are receiving the Word of God through the schools. They are giving their lives to Jesus, learning how to pray, and are receiving new hope and expectations for the future.

INVESTMENT. Partnerships are keys to the development and expansion of African Kids. Contributions can happen in several ways: • Education workers with a graduate qualification; • Financial support to pedagogues; • Classroom furniture; • Micro-buses for student transportation; • Industrial kitchen equipment; • Acquisition of plots of land; • Construction of new units; • Rebuilding of the units that are already working.

A obra na Flórida, iniciada pelo pastor Marcelo Almeida 9 anos atrás, não para de se multiplicar! A igreja Videira na cidade de Boca Raton, liderada por Paulo Capparelli, teve seu início em julho deste ano.

by Pastor Marcelo Almeida 9 years ago, is sure to multiply! The Vine Church in Boca Raton, led by Paulo Capparelli, began in July this year.

oca Raton é uma cidade transcultural.

Atualmente possui 96 mil habitantes, em sua maioria composta de estrangeiros ou imigrantes internos – principalmente no inverno, por se localizar em uma região mais quente. Entre americanos, brasileiros, franco-canadenses, porto-riquenhos e demais nacionalidades, o objetivo da Igreja é de expandir o Reino anunciando as boas novas para cada um deles. Paulo nos conta um pouco sobre o processo de plantação e consolidação dessa obra.

DISCÍPULOS NAS NAÇÕES Quando eu era líder de célula, participei de um retiro e nele fui muito marcado por Deus.

Nessa ocasião, algo que ficou claro no meu espírito foi que faria discípulos nas nações!

A partir daí muitas coisas foram alinhadas, dentre elas, Deus me deu discípulos na Alemanha e nos Estados Unidos e, através dos frutos, o chamado foi confirmado.

PORTAS ABERTAS Boca Raton foi uma surpresa maravilhosa que Jesus Cristo preparou para mim, eu realmente não esperava e Deus abriu as portas para chegarmos nessa cidade.

Como o pastor Marcelo Almeida costuma dizer, um dos critérios para iniciarmos uma obra são as portas abertas, pois bem, nesse caso as portas foram escancaradas.

Quando o Pr. Marcelo Almeida, em 2008, iniciou a primeira igreja Videira da Flórida na sala de sua casa, não imaginávamos que a obra chegaria onde está. Hoje, contamos com aproximadamente 30 igrejas nos EUA e Canadá sob a supervisão do Pr. Márcio Alves e, com essa multiplicação para Boca Raton, estamos abrindo novas fronteiras para o evangelho de Cristo ser anunciado.

A cidade tem uma grande concentração de brasileiros que atualmente é o nosso foco, porém, cremos que o Senhor nos levará a alcançar os americanos e uma grande comunidade de judeus que há na região.

oca Raton is a cross-cultural city. At present it has 96,000 inhabitants, mostly composed of foreigners or internal immigrants - mainly in winter, because it is located in a warmer region.

Among Americans, Brazilians, French Canadians, Puerto Ricans and other nationalities, the Church’s goal is to expand the Kingdom by announcing the good news for each of them. Paulo tells us a little about the process of planting and consolidating this work.

DISCIPLES IN THE NATIONS When I was a cell group leader, I attended a retreat and was marked by God in him. On this occasion, something that was clear in my mind was that I would make disciples in the nations!

Since then many things have been aligned, among them, God gave me disciples in Germany and the United States and, through the fruits, the call was confirmed.

OPEN DOORS Boca Raton was a wonderful surprise that Jesus Christ prepared for me, I did not really expect and God opened the doors to get to this city. As Pastor Marcelo Almeida used to say, one of the criteria for starting a work is the open doors, because well, in that case the doors were wide open.

When Pr. Marcelo Almeida, in 2008, started the first Florida Vine Church in the living room of his house, we did not imagine the work would arrive where it is. Today, we have approximately 30 churches in the US and Canada under the supervision of Rev. Márcio Alves, and with that multiplication for Boca Raton, we are opening new frontiers for the gospel of Christ to be announced. The city has a large concentration of Brazilians that is currently our focus, but we believe that the Lord will lead us to reach the Americans and a large community of Jews in the region.

LEI E GRAÇA O processo de plantação da igreja tem sido uma benção, me divirto muito com o que Deus tem feito e tudo o que acontece é pura graça de Deus sobre nós. Iniciamos a Igreja no mês de junho de 2017, éramos por volta de 50 pessoas nessa ocasião e ainda não tínhamos um local próprio. Alugamos uma escola e nos reuníamos no refeitório, na modalidade mobile church, pois tínhamos que a cada reunião montar e desmontar toda estrutura de som, vídeo, cadeiras, projeção e etc. Fomos desafiados pelo Pr. Márcio a darmos um salto como igreja, foi então que após aproximadamente 90 dias dentro desse formato de estrutura, Deus abriu as portas e nos deu um local fixo. O lugar foi uma sinagoga judia por 22 anos e isso só me remete a nova aliança, pois saiu a sinagoga dos judeus e entrou a igreja dos crentes, sendo assim, saiu a lei e entrou a graça. Em nosso culto de inauguração no novo espaço, fomos surpreendidos com 200 pessoas para a Gloria de Deus!

2018, O ANO DE CONSOLIDAR Em 2018 iniciaremos os cursos de Maturidade e de Treinamento de Líderes (CTL). Queremos avançar no vínculo do amor através do discipulado e da edificação do corpo de Cristo.

Cremos que isso tudo, é só o começo!

LAW AND GRACE The church planting process has been a blessing, I have so much fun with what God has done and all that happens is pure grace of God upon us. We started the Church in June of 2017, we were about 50 people at that time and we still did not have a place of our own. We rented a school and met in the dining room, in the mobile church mode, because we had to assemble and dismantle every structure of sound, video, chairs, projection and so on. We were challenged by Pr. Márcio to make a leap as a church, so after about 90 days within that structure format, God opened the doors and gave us a fixed location. The place was a Jewish synagogue for 22 years and this only brings me to the new covenant, because the synagogue of the Jews left and the church of the believers came, so the law went out and grace entered. In our opening worship in the new space, we were surprised with 200 people for the Glory of God! 2018, THE YEAR OF CONSOLIDATION In 2018 we will begin Maturity and Leadership Training (CTL) courses. We want to advance in the bond of love through discipleship and building up of the body of Christ.

We believe all this, it’s just the beginning!

H

á tempos ouvimos palavras proféticas que afirmam que o Brasil é um celeiro de missionários. No meio da Igreja muitos testificam que seu coração queima pelas nações; no entanto, também é comum encontrarmos pessoas que deixaram essa chama missionária se apagar.

Muitos ainda acreditam que o fato de termos tão poucos missionários em campo é apenas por uma questão financeira, mas estão enganados. Deus é o Senhor da provisão, o que falta são pessoas dispostas a abrirem mão de suas vidas por esse propósito. Hoje, vendo a realidade das obras missionárias, percebemos o fato de que o recurso mais valioso são os trabalhadores.

A Vine International, desde a sua fundação, teve a colaboração de pessoas que são apaixonadas pelo Senhor e que decidiram servi-lO com todos os seus talentos. Em 2015 vimos Deus alinhar conexões e propósitos em uma equipe de voluntários que chamamos de Missionários dos Bastidores.

Com grande desejo de expandirmos o Reino de Deus por todas as nações, percebemos que seria necessária uma equipe para nos ajudar em áreas como administração, comunicação, sistemas, infraestrutura entre tantas outras. Fizemos, então, um apelo via redes sociais para aqueles que tinham o desejo de colaborar e fomos surpreendidos. Recebemos inúmeros e-mails com testemunhos de irmãos que estavam orando por uma oportunidade como esta.

or a long time now, we have heard many prophetic words affirming that Brazil is truly a storehouse of missionaries. In the midst of the Church, there are many who testify that their hearts burn for the nations. However, it is also common to find people who allow this flame for missions to burn out.

Many still believe the reason why we have such few missionaries in the field is due only to financial matters, but they are mistaken. God is the Lord of provision. What is lacking are people that are willing to lay down their lives for the purpose. Seeing the true reality of missionary work, we realize now that the resource that holds the most value is the workers themselves.

Since the founding of Vine International, there began a collaboration of people who are both in love with the Lord and have decided to serve Him with all their talents. By the year of 2015, we witnessed God’s alignment of connections and purpose, through a team of volunteers we call “Backstage Missionaries”.

Along with the great desire to expand the Kingdom of God across all nations, we needed a team to help us in areas such as administration, communication, systems, infrastructure, and so on. Thus, we made an appeal via social networks for those who have the desire to collaborate and the results we received surprised us. There have been countless e-mails, full of testimonies, that were sent to us from brothers who have been praying for an opportunity like this.

Hoje somos mais de cinquenta missionários dos bastidores, que atuam em diversas áreas como criação e design, fotografia e produção áudio visual, produção de conteúdo, programação e desenvolvimento de sistemas, tradução (inglês, espanhol, francês, alemão, italiano) e moda. São pastores, líderes, membros da igreja. Todos os envolvidos são voluntários e prestam seus serviços de sua casa ou escritório. Dessa forma, temos uma grande equipe espalhada por todo o mundo.

Somente o Senhor faria algo dessa proporção, despertar pessoas para doarem seu tempo e habilidades por amor. É interessante vermos que todos esses irmãos tem um coração para as nações e à medida que se envolvem nos trabalhos estão alimentando os sonhos de Deus em suas vidas.

They are pastors, leaders, and members of the church. Those involved are volunteers and provide all the services from their homes or offices. As a result, we have a great team spread out all over the world.

Only the Lord would do something of this proportion. To awaken people to give their time and abilities out of a place of love. It is interesting to see all these brothers having a heart for the nations. As they get involved in the work they are fulfilling the dream God has for their lives.

riunda de uma multiplicação da Videira Flórida, a igreja iniciou reuniões com o time de plantação em 2016, tendo a sua inauguração em setembro de 2017. Liderada pelos pastores Tim e Brenda Almeida, a Vine Church NYC está sendo plantada no bairro do Brooklin.

O Brooklin é praticamente um estado dentro de Nova Iorque, – no passado já foi uma cidade independente do estado – com aproximadamente 2,5 milhões de pessoas. É um lugar de personalidade própria e que tem grande diversidade cultural.

“Nova York é em vários sentidos a “Capital do Mundo”, a “Big Apple”, a “Gothan City”, “Metrópolis” e the City that never sleeps.

Esta cidade representa a principal entrada de imigrantes de todas as nacionalidades nos Estados Unidos e é a alma da nação.

Depois de um ano de preparação e aprendizado, a Vine NYC foi lançada no Brooklin.

Esta igreja é muito estratégica porque desejamos um novo avivamento no país e queremos ser pais e mães espirituais de uma nova geração de americanos e internacionais a partir daqui.” - afirma o Pr. Marcelo Almeida, que tem acompanhado o processo de plantação de perto.

ed by Pastors Tim and Brenda Almeida, Vine Church NYC is being planted in the Brooklyn neighborhood. From the multiplication of Videira Florida, the church began through their “church planting team” as they held meetings throughout 2016, and was inaugurated in September 2017.

Brooklyn is practically a state within New York, - in the past it actually was an independent city from the state - with approximately 2.5 million people. It is a place of personal character and holds a lot of cultural diversity.

“New York is in many ways the “Capital of the World “, the “Big Apple”, “Gotham City”, “Metropolis” and the city that never sleeps.

This city represents the main entrance for immigrants from all nationalities in the United States. It is the soul of the nation. After a year of preparation and learning, Vine NYC was launched in Brooklyn. This church is very strategic because their desire is to start a new revival in the country. “We want to be spiritual fathers and mothers of a new generation of Americans and expand internationally from here on.”- says Pastor Marcelo Almeida, who is following the process of the church plant closely.

Antes da inauguração no prédio, a equipe de plantação fez algumas ações para se conectar com a comunidade. Uma delas aconteceu no feriado de 04/07 (independência americana) com a distribuição de picolés e geladinhos com um convite às pessoas para se juntarem em uma das reuniões. Outra ação foi feita no parque MCCarren, com a distribuição de água e mais convites.

Before the inauguration in the building, the church plant team took action to connect with the local community. One event took place during the holiday, fourth of July (American independence), as the team distributed popsicles and ice cream along with an invitation for people to join them in one of their meetings.

Another action they decided on was in the MCCarren park, where they distributed water as well as more invitations.

A proposta da igreja é bem jovem e totalmente americana. Todos os cultos e reuniões são em inglês, em um ambiente descontraído e focado em criar conexões com as pessoas.

The church proposal is very young and completely American. All the meetings are in English, with a relaxed atmosphere that focuses on creating connections with people.

2018 será um ano para consolidar a Igreja que já tem caminhado como uma verdadeira família.

2018 will be the year to consolidate the Church which has already walked together as a true family.
