Students & teachers Students at ISK Most of the ISK students are expats’ children from all over the world for Geoje City’s shipbuilding and marine engineering industry. teachers at ISK Teachers are highly professional with long and diverse teaching experiences. The majority of our teachers are from the UK, North America, and Canada. The school provides regular teacher training to ensure the continued development of our curriculum in response to the learning needs of our students. All our teachers have undergone EAL support training to assist nonEnglish speaking students in and out of the classroom.
admission The academic year begins in August, and runs until June the following year. Applications for admission are available yearround as long as there are available places. 한국인 장학생 모집 거제국제외국인학교는 거제 양대 조선소인 대우조선해양 ㈜과 삼성중공업㈜ 고객사(社)의 외국인직원 자녀들을 교 육하기 위해 1975년부터 외국인단체로 설립되어 운영되 다가 2002년 경상남도 교육청으로부터 정식인가 받아 개 교하였습니다. 현재, 영국, 호주, 미국, 인도 등 40여개국 가 출신의 330여명 학생들이 재학 중으로 유아반(만2세) 부터 중학반(만14세, Year9)학급으로 편성되어 있으며 유 럽계 국제교육프로그램인 IPC와 IMYC 커리큘럼을 운영 하고 있습니다. 새 학기는 8월에 시작하며, 연중 입학 신 청이 가능합니다.
