STUDIO BRIEF:

The studio consists of investigating an institutional design via lens of a tall building with a small footprint in a urban setting. The goal was to research and comprehend the nature of institution to create a campus with all of its culture and vibrancy distributed vertically, as well as to develop a program and its spatial linkage from the set of requirements.

• Nashik is located in North Western Maharashtra on the banks of the river Godavari.

• Nashik is known for its inherent cultural value and historical significance.

• Every 12 years, it hosts the mega Kumbh Mela that attracts millions of pilgrims as well as travelers.

• Nashik, called "grape capital of India", is the leading grape producer in the country.

Climate

• At an average temperature of 28.5 °C , April is the hottest month of the year.

• The lowest average temperatures in the year occur in January, when it is around 20.5 °C.

• Precipitation is the lowest in February, with an average of 0 mm | 0.0 inch.

• Steady and strong winds blow from the South East direction between December and April. Calm winds blow from the North West direction between June and October.
