FUNDRAISING

The efforts of our College family, Advancement colleagues and our Board of Consultors, along with the generous spirit of all of our donors near and far, have allowed us to operationalize our dreams for our students and colleagues, our College, nursing education, the profession and those we serve in health and health care. Dean Havens, as a major component of her role, is dedicated to “raising friends” with up to 120 visits annually with donors, in-person events, and also virtual events she hosts for alumni, parents and friends of the College throughout the year to share news and answer questions. The partnership is powerful and the College values the faith that benefactors have in Villanova Nursing.

• Invest in simulated and virtual learning—technology, equipment and staffing

• Endow new professorships

• Fund research to improve nursing practice and patient care

• Endow new scholarships, especially for second degree and graduate students
