DRISCOLL HALL RENOVATIONS AND ENHANCEMENTS

The beauty and safety of our Villanova Nursing home, Driscoll Hall, has been enhanced over the past five years in many ways.

• The Recovery Room is now the name for our renovated 2nd floor café space with upgraded furniture, and additional electrical outlets and charging stations to enhance the student experience and facilitate collaboration.

• The Larson Kelly Auditorium was named for alumna, former Board of Consultors chair, Villanova trustee and loyal donor Christina Larson Kelly ’74 BSN who made a major investment in upgrading technology in the Simulation and Learning Resource Center (SLRC), in addition to many transformative gifts over the years.

• The Kreider Family Dean’s Suite is to be celebrated in recognition of the longtime support of Richard ’83 VSB and Marianne Kreider P ’05, ’09, ’18. He served as the inaugural chair of the College’s Board of Consultors, is a Villanova Trustee, and among other generous gifts, donated an endowed scholarship, two endowed professorships and significant research support.

• SLRC common area furniture upgrades, manikins and equipment.

– Architectural firm now working with the College to reimagine the SLRC space.

• Changing stations added to men’s restrooms.

• Safety features were added or upgraded in the form of security cameras, swipe cards, lockable spaces, and more visible fire extinguishers.

• Other office and work spaces reconfigured to meet growing needs.
