Immanuel Baptist Church 1952
1949: First Church Service was held under a tent. Claude Sheets purchased half acre and Walter Moser donated an additional acre. The church was organized with 56 charter members. 1952: First church building was dedicated under the leadership of Pastor Otis Doss. 1954: Pastor Otis Clampitt called to pastor the church. 1965: First Baby Day 1968: Present church building dedicated. 1969: Immanuel Baptist Christian School began. 1979: A total of 2.64 acres was purchased for softball field, daycare and cafeteria. 1982: The original church building is demolished.
