1. Refrigerant Charge amount Additional charging of refrigerant (a) Select the appropriate refrigerant charging amount from Table 1 and charge the refrigerant. (b) Mark circle on the selected amount in the tables of the nameplate affixed inside the front panel (right) for future servicing.

FOR SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION SYSTEM • Find the entire pipe length by totaling that of each pipe in the order of the main pipe (L1), and branched pipes (L2), (L3), (L4), calculate the excess length going over 30 meters, then select from Table 1 the amount of refrigerant corresponding to the excess length. The total value is the amount required for additional charging. The maximum allowable pipe length is 50 meters. Make the total refrigerant pipe length come within 60 meters. The maximum allowable pipe length here means the total length of the main pipe and the branched pipe (the longer one of two branched pipes.) When the entire refrigerant pipe length is within 30 meters , the additional changing is not need. (For RY71KUV1, RY100KUV1, RY125KUY1, RY140KUY1 only) Table 1 Additional charging amount <unit: kg >. 2. Recharging refigerant • When the entire refrigerant pipe length is within 30 meters, charge the refrigerant in accordance with the amount mentioned on the nameplate, and when the pipe length exceeds 30 meters, the charging amount is an addition of the amount stated on the nameplate and the additional charging amount.
