MY NEW (NOSE) JOB

Many men and women struggle with at least one part of their body or face in their lifetime. It causes us to feel self-conscious, unhappy, stressed and the self-criticism can be burdening. I have struggled with the appearance of my nose since I was a teenager. In fact, I even got bullied for my nose many times. Negative comments can have a major impact on the way you feel about yourself. Of course, we are responsible for our own happiness and acceptance of ourselves. However, when you feel unhappy with a particular part of your face and somebody else confirms that there is something wrong with it, it makes you feel terrible. And though I had not been bullied for my nose in a long time, I still felt unhappy. I knew that if I was going to change something about myself; it was going to be for nobody but myself and my own happiness.
So, I booked myself in for the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty at Vie Aesthetics.
I knew about Vie Aesthetics for a number of years and it is the only place I would have ever felt comfortable having such a procedure. A major factor in this of course is, that the treatments are done by qualified Doctors. What safer hands could you be in?
I really believe that if you are not happy with something, you need to do something about it. In this case I really needed to take action. I was tired of walking by a shop window or a mirror and it ruining my day because my nose looked too big.
Little things like that would affect my entire day and I would think about it for hours. Whenever I went to an event and people took pictures, I tried to hide from the cameras. I would get annoyed at people for taking photos of me when I was unaware because I didn't want my nose to look huge in it. I almost hid from myself in a way.
Not only are you getting treated by a Doctor, they also have the necessary people skills that make you feel incredibly comfortable when you are getting a treatment done. And those are probably the two key factors when getting a treatment done, am I right?
MY NEW NOSE
The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty was a fast and painless procedure. Within a matter of minutes my side-profile was completely unrecognisable. I felt like a new person; a person with confidence, unafraid if someone took my picture from an undesirable angle. I feel so happy with my side profile that I want people to take pictures of me. I do not feel camera shy anymore thanks to this treatment. Dr Maria Minou has golden hands, she is incredible! I have been a client at Vie Aesthetics for many years, always in the trusting hands of Dr Liakas and the wonderful Vicky who always made me feel great as soon as I walked through the door. The way Vie Aesthetics is run as a company is very inspiring and the happiness of the staff really shines through.

MY NEW JOB
Looking back to a year ago, I was not in the happiest of places when it comes to work. I worked in an office for a good five years. I was not appreciated, barely greeted when I walked through the front door and always made felt as if I was not good enough. I needed a change in my life. So, I started my History Degree at the University of Westminster. I had a conversation with Vicky about becoming part of the team on a part-time basis. To be honest, knowing that I had to fit work around
University was quite scary. Who was going to be flexible enough so I could still attend my lectures? That’s right, Vie Aesthetics! They always go the extra mile, not just for their clients but also for their staff.
When I began to work at Vie it felt like a breath of fresh air. The team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. In a matter of two weeks I knew the job very well, thanks to the great assistance from everyone on the team and its outstanding leadership.
Everybody is so friendly and lets you know that you are valued. I now come into work in the morning and I know that I am appreciated and when I leave in the evenings I am still happy.
I can now definitely say, Vie Aesthetics has had a very positive impact on my life, with my new nose and job.

She has an extensive background in client-facing roles and is a master at making our clients welcome and their patient journey rewarding. She speaks multiple languages and is currently doing a Bachelor’s degree in History, aiming to get a PhD. Besides her academic interests, Olivia has an unquenchable passion for aesthetics! She makes a great addition to our warmhearted reception team as she loves putting a smile on people’s faces.
